my phone wont send long text messages, any longer than 3 messages and it will go to send then a few minutes later it will make the message sound twice (as ive just reiceved 2 messages in a row) once i open it has a ! inside a red triangle.form memory i used to convert longer messages to mms but isnt doing it now.
My BBM has been not sending messages for up to half an hour at times, it just stays on the red clock. It's been like this for a while, I went into the store and they told me to do a software update. I tried that and it got better for a while and then started playing up again.
My Blackberry was once able to send longer text messages now I can't do it at all. I have to break all my messages apart and it's becoming incredibly irritating since I mostly text all the time.
I've recently started getting a problem where my text message program freezes if my phone turns off the screen (i.e. me being inactive for a while). When I get back again it says I can either wait for it to respond or terminate the process. If I wait it unfreezes, but it is still very irritating that it happens every time.
And who's incredibly stupid idea was it to make long SMS messages into MMS-messages? I have problems with my messages not being sent properly, or being sent only partially, all the time. Is there any way to change back so it just adds more text messages instead of converting into MMS?
I use the standard text messaging program that came with my X10 mini pro, and I'd rather not switch since I found it quite good until after recent updates when I got these problems.
why my Xperia x10 mini (on o2 network) takes soooo long to send MMS or just says "queued for sending" for days? I have been on to o2 and checked all my settings are okay. Is there anything I can do to speed it up? Do I have to have a certain number of signal bars in order to be able to send MMS quicker or something? Ive never had problems with Sony Ericsson before
my new x8 wont send messages , it did this before and i had to update my sim , which i did. i rang vodafone and they told me to find the message center on my phone and put in a certain number .. caan anyone tell me how to find the message center
It appears I cannot send messages over 160 characters. Does anyone have the same problem? I am hearing things about bugs in the Andriod 2.1 update. I have tried differeent SMS products on the market such as Go SMS but I am getting the same issues.
Have had this problem since I got the phone (the only problem I have with it btw). Can connect to the internet just fine. But whether I download the MMS settings or manually input them. When I send an MMS it gets Queued when I recieve one, I hit download but it doesn't download.
I just recently got my Xperia Ray phone and i love it, however, I'm recieving messages perfectly fine but everytime I try to respond to the messages it just says that the message could not be sent
I have just bought the X10 phone, it was originaly on vodafone network but has been unlocked so I can put my virgin sim card in, when I try to send a picture message I get a message saying 'unable to send, message will be sent when service becomes available'. Does anyone know what I need to do.
Yesterday I updated my phone to 5.1.1 and am unable to send receive messages on my phone. I get lot of important messages. I updated through pc companion suite. Did normal update and restarted my phone.
I have the x10 and i can send picture messages perfectly fine with no problems, but i cant recieve them, people try sending me them and i get absolute nothing at all

I was using Hangouts 2.0 for SMS for a day or so, and I've noticed that it doesn't support splitting messages over 160 characters, as the stock HTC messages app (and Textra and most others) does. This is annoying, and until Google corrects this, I won't be using it.
my phone takes very very long time to send pictures on phone via gmail. I have sort of good connection and i tested uploading pics on facebook and picasa with out any problem, but with gmail it just stays at sending and some times it even don't show that status in gmail client. It is so frustrating. I have reset my phone manytimes and I have updated software.
I just bought a lumia 950XL dual-sim from Microsoft, and it is a great phone. However, I am having a lot of issues with the messaging app right now. It takes a very long time to load the app and the individual conversations. When sending texts it takes 3-10 seconds before sending. I deleted all the texts on my phone, which I had backed up and loaded.
Just got the Galaxy S6 a few days ago with Verizon. I'm using the samsung messaging app it came with, and noticed that every text that I receive from someone that is more than 160 characters gets split up, rather than sending as one long one or showing as one long text bubble, I'll 2, 3, 4 message notifications.
