I am prompted with the security question that was set in my xperia x10 mini pro, but, i can't remember the answer to it..how will i do a reset of the phone if i cant access the phone via touch screen!

View 1 Replies View RelatedThere was this pop-up thing happening and without knowing what it is and trying to get rid of it, I entered the password incorrectly 10 times and my phone got wiped. I did not back up any of the data in my phone. Now, every time I turn on my phone (bold 9000) the battery dies within 2-3 hours and when I switch the battery it erases all contacts and adjustments to the settings that I've made. In addition to this, the phone gets super hot, even though I turn the phone off.

View 2 Replies View Relatedapart from having no battery in the box when i first got it, i haven't had any major issues with my xperia x10 mini pro as of yet (touch wood!) but having some minor problems.recently, if someone sends me a text message, i would receive it 3 or 4 times, which is pretty irritating. also i've never been able to watch Internet videos (or any videos online for that matter). i have the tubemate app but it doesn't work, and trying to watch a Internet video on the browser doesn't work either.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI already updated my phone twice, from 1.6 to 2.1 and to the latest one, which i forgot what version (the one with officesuitde).. The first update was ok, but the latest brought back the apps I already unistalled-those apps that were already in my phone when I bought it. I got rid of them because they're TRIAL versions only and theyre just eating up the LITTLE SPACE (128mb) of my internal memory.So this is what happens, every time my phone turns off due to empty bat, or when I turn it off manually, then turn it on again, those APPS were once again installed in my phone! So I will have to uninstall it (again!) to free some of my internal memory. But, expect that it will happen again the next time How could I stop this from happening again? I'm sick and tired of doing the same thing over and over.. And I find it necessary to really drain my bat to 0% so I can maximizae my battery's life span, but when i turn on my phone?

So your pattern is not finished and screen has gone black. Try to remember place of the finger.4) press home or power button again.5) finish unlock pattern from place you was, when screen turned black.6) your phone is unlocked!!!So, if you did not finished your pattern and your screen have gone black you might think, that the phone locked, but this is not true.

I have consulted the forums including this one and it seems clear that the Log on fix for the google account using null as the password may work for some but hasn't for me.
I have tried to do a repair on the phone, but using pc companion i cannot get this too work, i cannot get into pc companion normally because the software is asking me to put the phone into Usb connect mode which i can't because i am locked out the phone.
method (that works) to get me phone to being useable again? perhaps i am doing the repair method wrong ( holding the back ket then connecting the usb cable does nothing)
