Nov 10, 2010I have installed the terminal emulator [URL] but am facing problem in that it is not responding to key presses. It is only responding to the symbols but no other keys.

Apr 27, 2011Wi-Fi doesn't works, I have tried resetting to factory settings, update to Android 2.1 and do a 'Repair' suggested by SE Support and not succeed. The phone tries to connect and after several seconds a message appears 'obtaining adress' and nothing happens until it disconnects by itself. It happens in all cases even without WEP security.

Oct 21, 2011I have had my Mini Pro less than two weeks and the back key is unresponsive intermittently. The menu key can also play up, but not as much as the back key. The only thing that gets it working is turning the phone off. I thought it may be the screen protector but have taken it off and it is still there. I have not used the phone as anything but a phone (no internet browsing at all, have not even connected to the internet) so not sure whether firmware will help as it is new and could not have been damaged remotely?

I have also noticed that reminder is not working while the screen is off, it's work only when the screen is on. it's really annoying. Please fix this issue as soon as possible.It dosen't even work for calender too.

Xperia Mini/pro :: Touchscreen Is Not Working
Dec 17, 2012Bought a SK17i about 1 year ago, I was perfectly happy.. Then after some time the touchscreen responded slower as normal. Helpdesk advised to do system update. Problem seemed solved, but returned after some time again. I removed pictures and movies and emptied out the inbox, phone worked normal. Last month it just failed on me, it just stopped working.. I get no respons from the touchscreen, tried recalibrating & system update & even hard reset ( advised by sony helpdesk) without result! When I slide it open to use the keyboard, the display flips and I can navigate with the arrows ect so the phone seems still fully functional except for the touch screen

The native backup solution of Android 4 (Ice Cream Sandwich, ICS) is not working on my setup.
On my windows command line:
adb backup -apk -shared -all
gives me the following in ddms (Dalvik Debug Monitor):

Normally a phone with ICS should ask me to allow the backup process. But on my phone just nothing happens.Is this behavior "Unable to launch full backup confirmation" desired by Sony?What is the Sony way of doing a full backup of my phone?

When i slid to get lock of half way it stopped, flickered and got back in begin posistion.Since then i cant use my touch screen. Battery removing and such doenst work. Cant do a repair cause cant use my touchscreen to get in required usb modus.

Mar 9, 2012I've had an Xperia X10 Mini Pro for a while now. The last few months I have experienced that the phone stops recieving phone calls and SMS. The rest of the phone is still working and I can use apps and mobile internet so I do not notice myself that it has stoped working untill I try to make a phone call myself. The phone starts working again if I restart it (just a normal shut down and the turn it back on again). This works every time. Once restarted I normaly gets a lot of SMS's with messages on my voice mail etc.

Sep 25, 2011Xperia Mini Pro (SK17i); I upgrade to ICS (4.0.4), Build Number: 4.1.B.0.431. After that Notification LED is not working for MISSED call, SMS Alert etc. when screen is OFF. However, it is working for Charging and E-mail (using K9). Checked in Service Menu and all the LED are working fine.
All the LEDs were working when using Gingerbread (2.3). Only after upgrading to ICS it is not working. Is this an issue with ICS?

Jul 17, 2012after I repaired my X10 mini with PC companion, the wi-fi connection stops working after few minutes. The indicator shows the phone is connected and there is good signal, but all applications report network error when trying to connect. Turning wi-fi off and on makes it work for another few minutes. The phone is after complete wipe and reset, I tried to connect to different networks and the problem is still there. Other android phones connect to these networks okay and there is no problem (personally tested with HTC Incredible S, Desire HD2 and One X)

Sep 30, 2010There was an upgrade which installed all Vodafone 360 apps on my xperia x10 mini. From that moment on my email app is not working anymore. Everytime I start the app it comes up with greyed out account and password field. I can not setup the account I had setup before. The user field says "null@vodafone.ie". I looked around in the settings trying to find a solution and found that the Baseband version is "Unknown". I need urgently a fix for this as I need the email for work.
I tried PC companion to upgrade/downgrade but when the upgrade engine starts it comes up with an error that it can not be started and I should contact Sony Ericson.
