Mar 30, 2011My phone just stopped ringing and texting.Whenever i try to text it just comes up cannot send.When i try to phone, it says call ended.

Xperia X10 Mini/pro :: Does Not Ring When A Call Comes In?
Apr 4, 2011I am using Xperia 10 mini pro. It was working fine but all of a sudden the phone is not ringing when a call comes in. Also I cannot hear sound when I am trying to play music.The ringer volume is high but still cannot hear anything. I tried doing a factory reset, but this did not solve my problem.

Sep 26, 2012I just updated my Xperia Mini Pro, but after the update, a) new text messages appear at the bottom of the list of texts (so annoying!) and b) the newest text message does not appear on the list when I reply to it.Is this a bug? I really don't think it's a feature.

Nov 19, 2011In a text editing program, I can select some text and a little box appears above the selection with an option to copy.I frequently have an email (Gmail) and I wish to copy some text and paste it elsewhere, into skype for example.But whenever I select the text, the box does not appear above, I have no way to copy what I have selected.By random chance I have occasionally seen "Text copied to clipboard" appear.

May 3, 2011I use text alot to keep in contact with my boyfriend who lives 250 miles away and our conversation had got quite lengthy which has been causing it to freeze lately and sometimes the text app crashes altogether when I open our conversation thread. I really should have deleted the whole conversation once this started to happen but there were a fair few photos and also some audio clips that he had sent me which I wanted to save and hadn't got around to doing yet (I usually just forward any photos etc to my email that I want to save due to the annoying issue of not being able to save MMS content on the Xperia X10 mini) and some lovely texts which I was reluctant to delete.
However, a couple of hours ago when I tried to open our conversation it just wouldn't open, all I am getting is a blank page. There are 5 texts unopened from him tonight and I cannot read them at all, just a blank blue page and I can't see our previous texts back and forth at all. All I want to do is open the conversation so that I can forward the photos I want to keep to my email and then I can go ahead and delete everything so that I don't have the problem of freezing and crashing anymore and so that we are able to text one another again. Does anybody know of any way I may be able to get this conversation open in order to salvage my precious photos before deleting everything? I really am reluctant to just go ahead and delete the entire conversation before I can work out a way to save these pictures but obviously I realise that if this turns out to be impossible then I will have no choice but to lose the photos. I'm kicking myself now for not saving the photos as soon as I received them and the originals have been deleted from my boyfriends phone as soon as he sent them. I've tried shutting down the phone and turning it on again, I've tried deleting other conversations to see if that helped, I've even tried plugging the phone into my laptop via USB to see if I can access the texts that way but I'm not even sure if that is possible. Has anyone ever had just a blank blue page come up when trying to open a conversation or knows how to get it open without deleting the entire thing?

May 10, 2011I was having problems with my x10 mini pro over the weekend when sending texts, it was being really slow and kept saying there was a problem with the messaging application and asked me if i wanted to "force a close" or "wait". I chose wait everytime and everything seemed ok, except for being really really slow. Today I got the same message when sending a text, but it didnt give me the option to "wait" and I had to press "force close". Well, it then showed me as having NO text messages in my history....I have lost them all. I went in the Vodofone shop and he said they are gone for good....does anyone know anyway I can get them back? Some of them are really special to me and I hate the thought of losing them all like that with no warning

Aug 22, 2012Since a few weeks now, i don't receive all text messages that are sent to my phone by contacts anymore.I can't pin an exact number how much messages are 'gone missing', but for example, yesterday i was texting the whole day with a friend,and of the on average 25 messages she sent, 3 never reached my phone. Also, sometimes when i get a message the text stops in midway and it ends with a piece of text from another message, that i received weeks ago. However, this problem has dimished over the past weeks. By the way, i have to add, i'm thinking of doing a factory reset, but for that i need to save all my contacts. i tried exporting all my contacts to my sim (using the import/export function in contacts),but when i used my sim on an older phone, only half of my contacts were transferred.I have to add that i got a notification that the sim was full, so some data wasn't transferred.

Mar 2, 2011OK, as you've helped me fix the last problem, here's another one.I have had 3 SE phones now, the last a K850i which worked like a dream. Before I upgraded to the x10 mini pro, I brought a new Fiat car, which has an integral bluetooth & media system called 'Blue & Me'.
Part of the 'Blue & Me' system was a feature that not only accepted phone calls to the car, but would also accept text messages and ask you if you would like it read out. This feature worked brilliantly with the 850i and was very handy.
However, since i got the x10 mini pro and connected it, it has never worked.
Is this because it is a smart phone and therefore they do not deal with text messages in the same way, or do I need to do something to get it working again?
I've looked through the car manual and can not see angthing to help.Obviously this is not the end of the world, but it would be nice if i could fix it.
