I transferred some files from my old phone (photos, contacts, etc.) and have only downloaded two apps. Under Storage, it says that Miscellaneous Files take up 13.10GB of space - and that Mobile Content Transfer is the biggest culprit of this. If I delete this file, would I lose everything that transferred? I've added an SD card but can only put a few apps onto it and not much else.

After the transfer was finished, I noticed that images were not showing in album or photo gallery.I open the SD card files in my computer (PC companion) but the images are nowhere to be found. View 6 Replies View RelatedI am a relatively new user to this phone, and so I have been trying to get my music files (mp3 format) onto my phone.I have bought a new 32GB sd card to load them on, and some files will play, but most state they can't play.I have tried a transfer using file copying, and also used MediaGo, but I still get similar results.The mp3 files play correctly on my computer (Windows Media Player) and on my iPOD, so I think the files should be ok.Are there specific sampling bit rates needed for the Xperia?Further to this thread, I have now ripped some original cd's in various formats and bit rates (Mp3 to WAV), and it makes little difference to their ability to play. Some do, but mostly they don't. I can't find any common factor.
Finally getting somewhere .... I think there is a problem with the new 32Gb MicroSD. Its rated class 10, so its maybe faulty or too fast???I replaced the sd with the one that came with the phone, which is 2Gb (no class stated), and everything plays fine with this.
I Recently updated my phone to ICS. After updating i decided to do backup and restore.verything looks great but I can't see the apps installed on my SD card. My phone was connected by usb I run Sony PC Companion, windows explorer started and it was writen that SD Card 708MB Free and 3.65GB full, but I double clicked SD card and there was only two files; "customized-capability" and "default-capability". I have checked win explorer Folder Options, hide, unhide selection, do not affect. I am sure that the files are in my phone, I have check from my phone.Now, I could not transfer my pictures, files, movies from my computer.
