I have downloaded pc companion, the usb connection is fine (phone is visible) but I cannot find a connection to go online via pc. Have I got to create a connection??

I've tried upgrading the software through PC companion and that hasn't resolved the issue. (It's not in airplane mode and I've also tried powering on/off/on, cleaning SIM card etc)

My family has different android phones and can connect into my wi fi connection easily , without problems.
I also tried connecting to another wi fi connection and it connected , but i can't seem to find the reason that my phone can't find my wi-fi connection.
i just got my phone and everything is fine except for 1 thing. when i watch a video online like Internet or on facebook, the video plays with sounds but the frame is standing still. it wasn't freezing before so i don't know what to do.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI successfully upgraded to Android 2.1 on my Xperia x10 Mini Pro. After the upgrade everything works beautifully except 2 things.
1> I am unable to play any online videos. When I try loading the video it does not load the control for it and shows a small square block like a Lego brick. Looks like the browser is missing some add-on like Flash or something. Have tried installing Flash for the browser but it said Flash is already installed.. Have tried downloading a different browser, like Opera but that does not help either.
2> This is not very important, but for some reason the alarm does not work any more. I can set the alarm on the phone. It shows that the alarm is set for a particular time but when the time comes it does not ring. Have tried using different applications for this but those don't work either.
I have a Sony Ericcson Xperia Mini Pro white model SK17a .I want to enphasize that the model is SK17a and not SK17i.The 3G connection is not working and never did since I purchased it in February 13th. I live in Venezuela and my cel company is Movistar.

View 4 Replies View Relatedi have updated my mini-pro SK17i two days ago (13.06) , sales item number 1251-8027 over the official update. Since the update the usb connection does not work anymore... i cannot connect to a computer and the usb charging does not work too. If i use the a/c power plug for the usb cable the charging works normal.
I've tested several computers with different usb ports and windows versions and different usb micro cables (each of them is working with other usb devices and phones).
I've searched for new settings in ICS like "activate charging over usb" without success.

I even tried to move the movie to the / but that didn't help.When I use a file explorer there is no problem finding the movies and playing them, but the phones movie player can't find them. how I can get the movie player to list my movies so I can play them without using a file explorer to find the movies first?

The phone has connected to the Telstra 3G network and I can make/receive phone calls and texts, however I have not been able to get a data connection (and my plan has 500GB included) except on the house wifi.

For some reason, every time I open Android Market, it tells me I have to turn on data services, even if I'm connected already to wifi, and then it keeps interrupting because of the poor 3G connection. Is there any way to force this application to use wifi? I have no problem with other applications.
View 5 Replies View Relatedi bought the xperia mini pro a couple of days ago...i have been impressed with its features and functions and it really looks a real deal....i havent been disappointed by any of its feature...but today when i tried to acces andriod market i am unable to create a new google account therefore cant go through andriod market.as it says "can,t establish a reliable data connection....."i have been searching tirelessly on internet on this issue and have found that it is very common one....so i tried the following things but it didnt come up with the required result 1.i checked the "background data raffic" in accounts and sync.2.i tried to reset my phone wihout the sim card but nothing helped....now i cant try that Internet account trick as "Internet" is banned in my country due to some religious issues...the thing left to do is a "hard reset" i havent done that in any of my phones but i think i have to do it now...fortunately there is almost nothing that i have saved in this phone...i did take a couple of photos today but its not that important.....is it worth to "hard reset" my phone? as i havent done it ever since...would it be safe to do and not remove my stuff saved in my memory card?..as i dont want to lose my music and other stuff saved in the memory card....
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm trying without success to connect my brand new Xperia Mini/PRO to my existing Google account via a WIFI communication to my router. I first configured the WIFI connection on both the router and the phone (IP address, MAC address, WPA-PSK key).This being done, the phone actually automatically connects to my WIFI router when it is located within the router's emission range. I checked on the home page of the router that the phone is actually mentioned as a connected device. I assume there is no basic problem with my router as I use it everyday with both cable connected and WIFI laptops under Windows 7.
When I try to create - for the first time - a connection to my existing Google account, I enter my Google email address and password and lauch the connection. I then get a warning message that says "Connection... This may last a few minutes". The problem is that this message stays forever displayed and the connection with the Goggle account is not done ... until, after tens of minutes, I finally decide to cancel the connection trial. I tried as well without success to use the web browser - still via WIFI on my router. The browser isn't able to access any internet page. This seems to be a connection problem although the phone is correctly connected and recognized by the router.
I have got a warning triangle in the message line on top of my phone. It says Ansl. förlorad. Roaming inaktiv (Connection cancelled. Roaming inactive)and the connection "stair" has R over and then it is not possible to connect to internet. How do I get rid of the message?
