Sep 7, 2010As my SD card constantly unmounts is there an alternative media transfer program available? Fed up with Media Go. When it works is great. But sadly it no longer works!!

Dec 19, 2012My SD card becomes unmounted constantly. I am guessing that the cover that holds it in place is not working properly. Does anyone else have this problem and does anyone know how to fix it?

Jul 3, 2010I got the xperia z5 for Christmas and noticed that the WiFi was almost constantly dropping during use. I brought the phone back and got a replacement but it occurs with the new one too as it seems its a well known problem.
Basically, my wifi just drops during use and it requires me to turn wifi off and back on again so it will reconnect. I could easily do this 5 times within a couple of minutes, other times it will barely happen.

Jul 3, 2010My mobile is Sony Zperia Z3 Dual (D6633). A few days ago I started to experience issues in Wi-Fi. Is keeps reconnecting. I mean I turn on the Wi-Fi it shows the available networks connect to the one of them and than after no more than one second it disconnects and search for new network again. And than like this in a loop.
I tried to update to news version (23.4.A.1.232) and repair using PCC. Also I am experiencing the same issue in safe mode. Is there anything more I can do instead of sending mobile to the warranty? Right now I am not able to use Wi-Fi at all.

Jan 12, 2012My Z5P drops WiFi constantly. Looses contact, everywhere. In 5min it can happen 3-5times.While no one else with for example Iphone looses.It also happens frequently in public wifi places, and its really annoying.

Aug 23, 2011I have had my phone for a few months and it was working great until a couple of weeks ago when a sync symbol started to appear (i didnt dowload any new apps or do anything new, it just started) in the top bar on the right hand side. (not the left like the twitter or fb sync symbols) Now if the data traffic is on it will sync constantly and cause excess dowload and battery drain. When i turn the data traffic off after using the internet it continues to attempt to sync and drains the battery unless i don't use the internet for a couple of days. I want to be able to leave my internet on like i did for the last few months without worrying about the download problem. I called SE and they told me i might have to reset my phone. I have SOOO much stuff that i don't want to loose. Anyone know what this thing is trying to sync and how to stop it? The SE guy already told me to turn all the sync and background apps off but it didnt change anything.

Mar 4, 2015I tried sending a picture via text message. This didn't work and I got the message "Message cannot be sent" with that red frowny face. So I deleted the message from the conversation.The problem is, that this deleted message now seems to be stuck somewhere: when I go to the overview of conversations, the one I tried sending the picture now always has that red frowny face next to it, even though since then I was sending normal messages succerssfully. Also that sad frowny face sometimes comes up as a notification. I click on "clear", so it disappears, but then after a while it will come back.
I already cleares the cache for the "Messaging" and restarted the phone, but it's still there. Do you know how I can get rid of the red frowny face?

Aug 9, 2015I live in Curitiba, Paraná. I've been complaining about a Sony Xperia smartphone Z3. I purchased 15 days. The same has been exposed to splashing water (shower), which is acceptable because the equipment is designed for these situations splashes and even submersion, to its limits of course, had the same problems on the 09/08/15 03: 29 am began an endless vibration, even turning off the machine vibration remained and after endless vibration, 05:00 am it stopped and did not return to vibrate, but began another breakdown, celebrates open the camera unintentionally, the which it was in this condition when I got to this point of the complaint, (5:15 am) and so far did not return open.
I believe it is a problem in sealing the camera button, as it was for him that the problem manifested itself. I now believe that if there was water into the unit, the motherboard was damaged, so need immediate replacement device, for me the device is an essential commodity. I look forward soon return Sony's what should I do in this situation, since the device has addiction but not stopped operating (for now).

I would expect this if the phone was constantly downloading email or social network feeds but when I try to load those I get the message "Could not open connection to server" when attempting to access e-mails as well as this message when attempting to load news feed on Facebook "Error loading news feed" ....

Dec 15, 2012A few days ago I stupidly dropped my xperia play in the bath. I let it dry out and place in rice in a sealed container for a few days to dry it out. However when I now power the phone up the camera flash light stays on and will not switch off even going into the camera settings and turning it off. I done the software repair download from the sony website but it hasn't helped.I also purchased a new battery as well. I am guessing it's going to need repaired but I thought I ask on here if anyone has ideas as to what would be causing the problem.

I have only internal memory to use, and SD card can not be used at all, I can download something or take picture, but it is not possible to rename, delete nor move it from the phone, the only way to do ANY at all crap with this so called new phone is when I safely remove SD card and connect it to PC, this lasts now over 5 months !!!

Dec 30, 2010i just put in a new 16 gb card and my phone said its detected and everything works fine, but when i put music on there through the usb port connection it says its there, but when i take it off , the music files disappear some how , for some reason medascape cant find them and when i plug it back into the pc the files arent there either. ive tried formating the card but windows says its unable to. also in the LOST.DIR folder on the SD card theres 647 mb worth of data, is this normal as the 8 gb that came with the x10i has the same folder but its empty. the transfere rate of the card is about 68kbs.
