i updated to 2.3.3 and after this my phone wont recognize the memory card. i tried with to different memory cards but i had the same problem. i tried to connect to my pc but it keeps saying that i need a memory card in the phone to connect with my pc which i have in the phone but it do not recognize it.

how can i reset my phone ( hard reset)? It dosen't recognises microsd what so ever. In pc comparation it says to conect my phone, or put a memory card. . . The pc recognises the microsd.

On starting usb connection it tells me that i don't have a memory card in and PC-suite might not work as expected. I tried a soft-reset (*#7370#), but it still does not recognize the memory card. All applications saved on my memory card are no longer displayed. In file manager it tells me I have no memory card in. View 5 Replies View RelatedMy 350a doesnt see the memory card.When I go to the file "file manager" and move over one to the "on memory stick" it states "memory stick not inserted"The memory card works fine, as I can remove it, insert it into a M2 adaptor, then into my PC and access/retrieve files.I have tried reinstalling the software on the phone via the update service, I have reset the phone (master reset)I have also formated the memory stick but still no success When I attach the phone to the PC via the USB cord the PC does not see the memory stick through the phone either.Is there something that I have missed or am not doing that I should be?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got a BB Pearl 8220, and it won't recognize my media/memory card. Its a microSD card. I have formatted the card, and everything. First of all, I don't have a Media Card option in my Options menu, rather I have a Memory option, with Media Card Support, Encyption Mode, etc...I get two messages underneath all the options:
1) Application Memory: Free Space: 52.2 MB (I'm assuming this the the BB's own space)
2) (The more interesting part): A media card is not presently inserted in the device.
I know for a fact my microSD card works because it works perfectly on my other cell phone.
I just bought W205, couse my good old W880i died on me. In start there were some broblems, because it didnīt recognise any of music files from my 2G memory card. Well i run software update, even it was up to date and hey, it allmost worked. Now the music player regognises mp3 files just fine, but files that are in m4a format, (that i got most of my music) is not regognised. It cant handle them in proper way. It shows songs names, but dont put them in proper albumwiew, and wont play them at all. Thatīs very weird, because i had no broblem with them on my old W880i. If i go to filehandling and browse memorycards files from there, they works just fine, but that is not actually musicplayer, isnīt it! So. How can i play my music files in this MUSIC-phone i just bought?

Now my Xperia won't recognize my SIM card and when I plug in my phone instead of charging the battery it drains it. I checked the spots I read about above the camera and on the battery and the one above the battery is still red and spotted and the one on battery is white.
i just bought a used xperia play and a new 32gb sd card class 4 (adata). the memory works fine in my laptop but when i put it in the phone it wont do anything, it wont let me mount or anything, its like there isn't anything insde. i already read that the back cover has to be placed proporly so it is pressing the little white switch, the cover is properly placed. okay just now i used the update service program and it says it has modified content, okay i know its a used phone so it is totaly possible but how to i get it back to original firmware or software or whatever, im new to andriod so what am i suppose to do (already have PC companion and update service), sorry for my bad grammer but right now im fricking out! this is the phone of my dreams and i can't enjoy it because of the sd card!! right now im going to restore to factory but i fear it will brick my phone since i got that "modified content" message.
in the worst case senario, say the sd reader is broken, how much does sony charge to fix it? do they even fix it? if they do, do thay have it in mexico?details: i formated the micro sd card on my laptop on FAT 32

I can transfer media and all that , but the limit is 4GB . After I have used up 4GB of memory in the SD card , every file above this limit will be deleted .
But , the 4gb limit only happens to FAT32 isn't it ?
Xperia Z3 just came back from repairs, apparently they did software upgrades and replaced a hard drive, now its not reading my memory card. It was fine before the repair though.
