Jun 19, 2012i am using xperia pro mk16a and a few days back i updated to ics 4.0.4 through pc companin s/w.everything went well and the update was completed in 20 minutes flat w/o any error or problem.but since then even after downloading adobe flash player the flash videos which are of duration 5 minutes or more do not load the flash video screen shows that it is loading but it doesnt load even after wainting for 30 minutes earlier on gingerbread these very videos used to load in less than a minute.i have tried almost all the browsers available in the market...but the result is same. i think this is some compaltibility issue of adobe flash player and android 4.0.4.Internet works bery well..no issues on that account.otherwise the ics update is very nice and feature rich and enhanced the overall xperience.

Dec 30, 2011i think i have done all the googling and forum-searching i can do and still no luck answering my question so i hope someone will help me here. I bought my e71 (straight talk) in march '11 and up until about 1 or 2 months ago you tube and other sites w/ flash video worked just fine. But one day i just started getting msgs popping up saying 'you need to upgrade adobe flash player to view this site' and this happens with every single website i've tried even sites that i had no problem with before. I'm assuming i have flash lite 3.0 from what i've read online but beyond that i have no idea what version firmware or anything my phone has and i can't find the info anywhere on my phone or how to update anything. My device manager says 'no server profile found' and i can't figure out how to make one, if that would even help. I'm completely lost. The main reason i bought this phone was because i wanted to watch videos online and i only had it about 8 months before it seemed to become obsolete! I read horror stories about bad firmware updates so if there is a way to just update flash player i would prefer to do that rather than the firmware update. So my simplified question(s) is/are what should i do and how do i do it? Flash player upgrade? System update? Firmware update? make a device server profile?

Today I noticed that when the flash is one it kinda blinks, but it's noticeable since it's possible to notice the variation of the light during videos.Â
Do I seriously need to drive to the store for the 3rd time, 45 minutes away and way 5 more days to get it replaced?... Apple is losing my trust...

Motorola Cliq :: Video Player Can't Watch Certain Non Flash Videos
May 23, 2011the motorola cliq with motoblur needs to be updated to to android 2.2 froyo because the eclair update still has flaws i and i am going to list those flaws right now right here.
1. when i updated my motorola cliq to eclair android 2.1 i could not turn off safe search filtering because that option was grayed out so i logged into my Internet account but it's still grayed out!
2. the video player on the cliq cant watch certain non flash videos because i thinks the video has high resolution but i think that when that happens the cliq should be able to reduce the resolution to its supported resolution.
3. for some videos on Internet i cant turn on high quality because of the error message. sorry the video could not be played.
4. the cliq now runs android 2.1 update1 but as soon as i go in the market i click apps then i scroll down to live wallpapers but as soon as i download and install and then open the live wallpaper it says sorry but your device currently does not support live wallpapers but you can get suppor via upgrade so motorola needs to work on getting live wallpaper support for the motorola cliq with motoblur.
5. the google earth app is missing from the android market on the cliq that needs to be fixed.
6. and i don't like the fact that i have to go to my task manager when i want to close my browser there should be an exit button with in the browser so that i can close it manually. i'm not saying to get rid of the task manager i'm just asking for more manual convenient ways to exit apps.
7. and it needs adobe flash player 10.1 support i don't want it to be preinstalled i just want it to be supported also needs the latest javascript preinstalled.
8. hey and this is just a thought the cliq may have mobi television.
9. this is another thought the cliq should have 12 home screens.
10. the motorola music widget is not resizable is needs to be.

Apr 5, 2010we are living in the times when internet is in our pockets. yet we have a crippled web browsing experience. without full flash support, we are unable to do most of the work, communication, information gathering, nor enjoying entertainment sites.in the modern days of internet where speed is the most important issue, website developers just can't deal with mobile versions of websites. not even the biggest sites, like cnn have a capable and usable mobile site.
yet, our mobile phones, such as nokia 5800 (and also the rest of the communicator-like phones) with a serious browsing capability is discriminated because the websites recognize them as "mobile" phones. most of the time you're not even able to browse the "normal" website and get the same experience to move around and even see the same information on your mobile phone.
i'm also experiencing browser application issues. freezes, hungs, because the site cannot coop with the disabled flash light. it starts to load the data, you able to see the flash box and then the browser just stops working. after a long time of exercise on different sites, such as Internet i'm convinced that flash 10 even bring our browser to its knees. the new flash 10 videos totally killing the browser on my nokia phone. and this is not firmware, not memory nor website related problems. it's incompatibility where the site and the browser just unable to coop.time to fix and update browsers in nokia smart phones including 5800!
get rid of discriminating our mobile devices as a"crippled" internet browser and give us the full web-experience.i was a faithfull nokia owner in the past 10 years (!!!!). i spent a lot of money on my phones. i always bought them even with limited information on the capabilities because i was trustful about the quality and feature-rich products. however if this issue will not be fixed on this particular phone because of whatever reason, be it as technical issue (the phone is not prepared for such internet experience), or be it as a way of lacking in development (never ment to handle such internet experience at all) then i have to leave nokia for good.
this is not "silly warning" or an angry and frustrating finger pointing. it just the fact that if nokia forcing me to swap phone, then i cannot trust a company with such business decisions to limit the timespan of their phone in such a way, that would generate more money for them. if this is not the case and we able to finally use our phone as it should work since the beginning then we will be the happiest buyers and supporters on earth.
i'm also trying to send this to the customer support in the good hope that finally we will see some advancement on this topic. i think we, the users, were quiet patient up until now (a year or so passed and still no sollution on this).

Oct 7, 2011I have problem with my X6-00 16GB primary camera. When I turn camera on, screen stays black, only this focusing white box and other symbols are visible on screen. But no picture. When I push "take picture button", then focusing box starts blinking and stays like this, until camera goes standby mode. Secondary camera, in front of the phone is working fine. Also I have a Flashlight program (Brightlight v1.0) on my phone and it doesn't turn camera flash on, like it should be.
I gave my phone to friend who reset phone to the factory settings. After that camera worked for a while, but one day it was again black. I have done a couple of times software reinstall with nokia ovi suite on my computer. After that camera works couple of days or only couple of hours and then goes black again. Software version is the newest for that phone, v32.0.002.

It is also suggested that I send phone off in a jiffy bag to be repaired if unsuccessful, and what do I do for a phone in the mean time?? Jan 25, 2010i've never had this problem until recently. i'll go to Internet's mobile site, perform search, etc. and when i go to click on the video, nothing happens. the browser doesn't open the media player at all. i've tried with my native browser and evn with opera mini, which ultimately requires the native browser anyway. i don't remember changing any particular settings on my browser so i couldn't imagine why i would have this issue. any help would be appreciated. just to reiterate, i don't even so much as an error message. nothing happens at all when i try to play the video. it just stays on the same page.
