Xperia Pro/Neo/V/L :: Facebook Sync After ICS Update?

I've been facing few issues ever since I got my NeoV upgraded to ICS 4.0.3 1. Facebook sync was draining battery; when I went to battery usage section it said Facebook sync used 98%. It had downloaded over 200MB. In 20Mins my fully charged phone went to 4% and phone was terribly heated up. 2. Calendar widget does not show Facebook calendar items. But Calendar app shows all tasks and other items. 3. Phonebook does not sync with Facebook Inside Xperia properly, though it shows Facebook profile and photo tabs on the contact it does not show contact picture. I have almost tried everything possible what I know to fix this Facebook account was removed and readded to sync again. Facebook Integration was disabled and enabled. Repaired the phone using Update Service. Got upgrade to ICS 4.0.4, Still no go. Finally did a phone repair again, selected Factory Reset option..issues persist. I currently got Facebook Integration disabled and Facebook sync disabled to to ensure smooth working of my phone.

This worked fine on Z1 and in sync options under xperia with facebook there are two options calendar and contacts...
on Z3 there is only calendar sync no contacts.

I cannot make my contacts sync with facebook.
I have added my facebook accounts and made sure the filters are correctly set, I have synced the facebook account several times manually, but no profile pictures nor any facebook related data is shown in the contacts.

Hi everyone, I just got a Sony Ericsson Xperia yesterday. I was in the process of syncing a facebook accout, but when i touch "facebook" it kicks me back to the screen previous. This is my second smartphone, so I have done this numerous times, but never had this much issue.

Since getting upgrade from Samsung SIII to Z2, I am unable to sync facebook event into the calendar, it does show birthdays but no events at all. I have tried removing facebook account and xperia facebook as well and re-add with no solution.
Initially I thought it might be facebook's issue but it has been like this for months so I am starting to suspect it is Z2 issue.
ActiveSync with my work calendar work fine on the phone, but not the facebook events.

I have a Xperia Pro with the last update, I remember that my facebook events get synced with my phone's calendar before, but now I can't find the way to do this. Inside config-> sync and accounts -> Sony facebook integration I only see the "album sync" and no other option.

I just bought a new Xperia Play (C Spire) and tried to add my facebook account to sync contact pictures.It goes back to the list of accounts when you attempt to add a facebook account.

I´m a bit confused about the missing entries from facebook calendar in xperia stock calendar.
On my Z3, no events, birthdays etc is listed in stock xperia calendar app - xperia with facebook is correctly installed an calendar is checked.

after the over the air update for my Neo V (done on WiFi), I've been experiencing severe battery drains when Facebook Inside Xperia is turned on to sync photos, calendar and contacts (facebook_calendar_sync). The battery drains out in under 5hrs - I usually charge my phone in the eveings and take it off the plug just as I go to bed and the battery's drained and the phone shut off within 5hrs (5:30hrs max). This happens irrespective of how the data sync occurs - WiFi, 3G, 2G... I've noted that it's the calendar and contacts sync that drain rather than album sync.

I have upgraded my Neo V to ICS, and after upgradation, I am not able to sync my FB events and birthdays with in-built calendar. In fact, I am not getting the option "sync calendar" in facebook inside xperia application. PS I do not want procedure to sync contacts with FB.

I have an xperia mini pro (sk17i) and had no problems before regarding my gallery. In the past few days however, i dont know what i did wrong, but i suddenly could not see my facebook pictures from my mini pro's gallery. I synced a number of times but i only see the "new from friends" album but not my own gallery. Ive turned autosync on and off, restarted a number of times, signed out my account and signed in again, but nothing seems to help. there is no problem with my wifi by the way.

since yesterday, i'm getting this message in notification bar.the facebook itself works fine also the timescape and facebook mesanger.but the notification is there, it only appeared yesterday, and before that everything was ok how to get rid from it ?

When I actually do bring up the facebook application it acts ok.The one thing this x10i can't do is upgrade to adobe flashplayer. There are places that tell me I don't have video on my phone in order to view the news clip or whatever.It's not a big deal to me and don't really need it. turn off the facebook "unable to update" in my notifications, without removing facebook entirely.

Updated my X10 with latest 3.0.1 update couple of days ago.Configured SE Facebook sync for Albums in Gallery and Calendar to sync.Now I am Unable to remove the SE Facebook sync from the General Sync Settings list !!! Every time I choose Remove Account it disseapears and appears immediately.

facebook app not working in my neo v after ics update..i have tried repairing the phone by sony pc companion ..but the problem still persists i use a wifi in my campus iit kgp..every others work fine..and i have tried even with gps but the facebook app donot work please help..and also the phone dialer is too slow?

Currently, I'm having this issue. After the ICS update, everything is working fine (better), but I just recieved the Facebook app update couple days ago, and when I'm on facebook and then I close the app, my MiniPro totally freezes and I have to remove the battery.

Last night ı ve upgraded my phone up to lollipop. Now i can't refresh the home page of facebook. I can see my own profile ı can see the messages but I can't see or refresh the home page (news feed). I returned my phone to the factory settings and reset all data. At first it was working after a few hours it turns into same problem again.

I buyed sony ericsson xperia mini pro few months back. at that time i synced my contacts with facebook with facebook app. And i got all my friend's profile pictures as my contact pictures. But now when i changed my memory card i also formated my phone. I took backup of contacts on sim card. after installing new memory card i imported my contacts back to phone and synced facebook once again with my phone contacts. This time they got synced too but their facebook profile pics are not becoming my contact pictures. I also tried enabling facebook inside xperia but still it didn't worked. I want to get them done as quickly as possible.

Since my pc blew up I am using a work macbook -my X10 has been saying new updates for ages but every time I tried to update it said it was up-to-date. I see everyone else already has Android 2.1 update so although it is the XD video I am really keen on getting! I have downloaded the Media Synch for Mac and mounted my phone -the automatic upload on the phone just says connect to a computer as new software update available. The Sony Ericsson site only gets as far as if using Safari click on 'help' in media synch BUT there is no help- the search bar doesn't load? You tube only has the Media Go option, which I previously used. how I can actually get these updates? especially the HD video

Does anybody know how I get my phone to syncronize with my calendar on my google account?
Before updating the phone, I syncronized my calendar with the one on my google account as a backup, since I use my celendar all the time to help me remember stuff.

I've just re-updated my X10 Mini to see if it would run any smoother. Since then I cannot access the Sony Ericsson sync. I've tried adding the account in settings > Accounts & sync > Add account > Sony Ericsson sync, it goes to the Sont Ericsson login screen and will not go past that after I have enterewd my details, or5 it redirects me to the login to the website dashboard. I'm getting no opportunity to authorise the account and now I cannnoot sync my contacts as I don't use the Google account for that.

SONY XPERIA NEO L: Timescape displays "Sony Ericsson Xperia Play" on Facebook status update. I really got annoyed when I saw my status update on facebook with this while I'm not using Xperia play but rather Xperia Neo L. Is it possible to change it because I'm not using Xperia Play.

I tried updating my facebook to the latest version and when it is finish downloading and done the reboot<br>It is still the old version,I tried it so many times and done also the pulling off the<br>Battery and then delete and install it again but stil it did not upgrade.<br>And also my bb app world can't upgrade also to the latest. Version,<br>It is so very annoying seeing my friends facebook and app world upgraded<br>But mine is the old one.

M using a torch 9800 Version 6.0 bundle695. One day my bb was just restarting in a loop so I had to wipe the phone using a desktop after that im not able to sync my facebook with the bb calendar but I'm not able do that, I'm not able to see any birthdays or any upcoming events. I'm not getting any error messages as well.

I have an HTC One. I have Facebook sync for Events and Contacts set up on my phone. I noticed something peculiar today: my Facebook friends' birthdays are syncing on my phone, but my Facebook events are not. I don't know if this is a recent problem or if it's always been there (never really paid attention). I removed my FB account on my phone, uninstalled the app, reinstalled the app, added my account again, set up the sync and I was still having the issue. I've tried searching extensively on this forum and throughout the web, but no luck so far.
