why as the audio playback in my ear plugs so low since i have updated my W810i software in addition when persons call i hardly can hear them speaking in the phone what can i do to fix this issue
View 5 RepliesSorry if this is in the wrong place but I'm new here and wasn't quite sure where to post.My phone ran out of battery, I've charged it until it says fully charged but when I try to turn it on I just get a blank white screen for a few seconds then it just turns off. I've tried other chargers and other batteries which I know work.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have W810i and the problem is that it won't charge - i just want to make sure if the problem is in phone battery or faulty charger? The phone was turning itself off when slightly dropped on table and such. But other then that, it was working and today i brought it to the service and the repairman put other charger and it charged, but only after second attempt after he cleaned connectors a little. Now, i brought it home but it won't charge. The other problem is that it was charging only when i squeeze the connector into specific position, so i guess something with the connectors too, but i'm not sure which one, the charger or the phone. So, what do you think?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI haven't dropped my phone. Just got it a month ago. I turned it on this morning and my screen was really messed up. You can see pictures of my screen attached with this post. I bought it from Asia when I was on vacation and brought it back to Canada with me. It is not covered under warranty in Canada. I've tried calling SE Canada and the repair facility and they refuse to fix it even though I told them I'm willing to pay for any charges. I know it's covered under warranty in Asia and I'm willing to ship it there to get it fixed but only as a LAST RESORT. Is there anyway I can fix it? Also, does anyone know if it's a software issue or a hardware?

With the experience of w810i, I thought enabling the Silent Mode would shutdown the shutter sound, but it's not happening. I tried every profile, did everything I can, but still the shutter sound is still there. If Sony Ericsson team is reading this thread,please be good enough to enable that with the Silent Mode.

Apart from the occasional problem of the screen going black and restarting I didn't have any problems in particular.That is until this Saturday. I was having a discussion with a friend via sms. Everything was working fine until the phone stopped sending sms. It also hasn't been able to since then. I can normally write the message, and when I press Continue I normally go to the sending screen. However, when I press Send I return to the Messages screen and the message I just composed is nowhere to be found. Neither in Drafts nor in Sent. And of course it isn't sent to the receiver. As you can understand I am by no means able to send an sms message to anyone because of this. Along with this problem, since this Saturday any sms that I receive appear as blank when I open them in Inbox. As a result I can't read messages either (apart from the first words shown in the Inbox screen under the name) And that's it, I can neither send nor read sms messages with my Spiro. That makes my phone pretty much useless when it comes to messaging. I would very much appreciate any help or advice on how to fix this problem. I would also appreciate any information regarding the cause of this problem.I do not believe my network provider is responsible as my old phone (W810i) can normally send and receive sms messages.

1. It's got a 512mb stick in it and I'd like to replace it with something with greater capacity - say 4gb or 8gb - do I can put a lot more stuff on it. I spoke to Maplin about a new stick and the chap there said, if the phone is that sort of age, I might be able to go up only to a 1gb or 2gb and should check. Does anyone know the answer please?
2. The handbook (which I have just downloaded) talks about a file manager function, but I can't see it on my phone - is this a problem?

I'm trying to download a new software update for my W760a, because it tells me it cannot add anymore contacts and I can't recieve or send texts/ phone calls. When I try to go to the software updates on the W760a hompepage, it loads a blank page. It just says on the tab "Sony Ericsson Support Phones Topic Updateserviceapplication W760a", and loads a blank page. Please help me with this problem as I wish to continue using my new phone.
View 1 Replies View Relateda couple of days ago I tried to do an update on my W995a via the SEUS program (latest version used, downloaded the day I did the update), It got to about 90% then stopped and stayed at 90% for about 2 - 4 minutes then it came up with Update Failed, I've retried the process a few times and all have failed, I've used the repair feature in the PC Suite program to try to fix the phone but it fails about about 90% as well, I had no issues or software glitches with the phone before attempting the Update. The phone now will not load the OS but instead just sits there with the keypad lights on. Is there a solution to this problem? As this is my main phone and the SEUS program has broken it.

Dump the people owning Satio's and work with Xperia X10 rather? This isn't a joke I guess that this phone has the least support of the phones I ever had as the others hadn't much bugs and a lack of many typical functions in them. The last update was on march Vivaz got an update during april and it costs less and how come that phone has even a better home screen for that money. Ive just recently got my new vivaz and have run the latest update. Can anyone tell me what the changes are in this new update? Id also like to know whether it is possible that a flash can be programmed into the vivaz instead of the light being constantly on. This is the only annoying aspect of the camera.
