Sony Ericsson :: C902 / C905 - Recommendations For New Phone

I am struggling to find a new phone to replace my C902 so I need some suggestions or ill end up having another C902! My criteria:
Must have buttons - I don't mind an element of touch screen but it has to have buttons to text with
Not Smart phone - I use my phone as a phone, not a portable media device to have no use for all the extra features. My main uses are calling, texting and taking photos so I want a decent camera, minimum of 5mp.
I prefer the candy bar style which rules out a lot of phones so I am prepared to be flexible with that. From what I can see there is the Elm coming out but that seems to be a very slightly updated version of the C902, theres the Aino but from reading reviews people haven't been overly impressed with its photo capabilities. So has anyone got any other suggestions for me? I've always had SE but am considering moving to the dark side to find a phone I like/want. Doesn't necessarily have to be brand new either, im even considering looking at the C905.
Any recommendations? Is has to be cheap and have a decent camera, but I can't find it. I only found the w508 but it looks that it was made with cheap plastic. it's not resistant enough.
I would really appreciate some help.my battery ran out and when i went to charge it its saying cannot charge please insert a Sony ericsson battery but it is a Sony ericsson battery and its the one i got with the phone its just stopped working could someone please help
C902 has just randomly started not receiving any texts? And sometimes have to keep trying to send texts, can receive and make phone calls, and send texts. Would this be to do with the service centre number? Also when charge phone, a message comes up saying "stop charging phone, stop using phone?"
My SE C902 is experiencing serious error, stop charging, stop using my phone and contact a sony ericsson call center. i don't know whats happening, wat should i do? my phone is not charging as well
I have a C902 and wondered how I would go about getting extra languages on the phone? It's very frustrating not being able to text my greek friends (I live in Cyprus) in true Greek.
I've had a c905 for 18 months, contract runs out next month and have always had SE phones. I do not like touch screen phones and I don't see anything that's replacing the c905, is there a release date or anything similar to the c905 within the next 6 months?
I got my fathers Pentax optio 7 mp and was happy about it. But the happiness stooped quite fast after I took it for a ride with the c902. I know its no super cruel digi cam, but still it should perform better then this. Think most ordinary digi cams are worse then many high end phones when it comes to sharpness, (sure, full size there beat digi cam bigger sensor, but the rest? All pics is shot in auto.
This is my first post, and y hope this hasn't been answered yet, because i've tried to find the solution but it was impossible.I own a C905 and a Xperia x10 mini. I enjoy the x10 mini but the C905's camera is with difference the best, so i'd like to know if there is a way of turning on the phone and use it as a camera and music player but without simcard, so that i can take it when i go somewhere and i want to take some pics.Let's say i have 2 phones and i'd like to have both at the same time.
I've been using a C902 for sometime and I had to reflash the phone about 3 times the version it had when I first bought the phone even enabled me to play and add .amr files in the media center. I really found it useful because the I could even fast forward or rewind my recordings. I can't remember the version I had then. My current firmware version is- R3EG004.
And I can't play my recordings through the music player and the phone really slows down when the music player is running in the background. I tried the update service option in the settings tab and said that the phone is running the latest software. Please everyone, I would like to know which firmware version has less lags and the best tweaks. This really is irritating because it slows down a lot when listening to music. So please help me to know the most preferred firmware version.
I own a C905 which I have had for just over 16 months and I have found it to be an excellent phone however me being a gadget person I need more mainly in the photography department 8.1 just isn't enough. I am looking to find out some information as to why there has been no replacement for the C905, I have my upgrade in a few months and I am beginning to get worried as I am far from comfortable using a touchscreen. A simple re-design of the c905 with the 12mp camera would be fine, something a bit slimmer maybe even if it was a replacement for the Aino which I had been looking at as I own a ps3 and would use remote play a great deal so was willing to sacrifice the added camera quality, but as fate would have it after deciding to upgrade to it my service provider informed me that they no longer stock the Aino. With my upgrade approaching and no sign of a phone to meet requirements in production as of yet I am not sure what to do so really any help or advise would be nice as i am a dedicated sony ericsson fan and really don't want to have to look elsewhere.
I notice a flashing red light on the side of phone. I put the phone on charge seemed to be charging ok approx 5 hours later took it off charge. I used phone and noticed the battery indicator showing 1 red bar the phone bleeped low battery and turned off. I've done all normal trouble shooting tips still the same. I've bought original Sony Ericsson charger and battery that hasn't worked either.
I just debranded my ATT c905a and when I ran the sony ericsson updater, it says a new update is available. is there anything bad that could happen by updating since it's debranded? My other question, is it possible to hack this phone to use the radio without an antenna? I did it with my old w580i, but that was some time ago and things have changed since.
Symptoms: Phone wont charge. right off the box. Says "Battery cannot be charged, please use a Sony Ericsson Battery". It is a Sony Ericsson battery. It is a Sony Ericsson charger. Everything came out of the box.
I just opened it, and first thing I did was plug it into the wall. Now, I have installed the update service, tells me phone is up to date (downloaded straight from sonyericsson.com). I have installed Phone suite 6.01; tried a repair phone, aborts with an error when it comes to the update service (right after the remove batery, press C while connecting phone part). Also same thing with car charger.
I've been watching W810's photos and they are awesome but I can't find any new Walkman phone with that quality, maybe the W995 (the only one that has autofocus) Even W810 takes better photos than K810. What I need it's a secondary camera which can help me when I'm not carrying my canon. So what SE phone - especially Walkman series- would you recommend me?
I've had my c902 for about 6 months. Great camera etc, but on the specs sheet it says it has a "red eye reduction" function. My old K800i had the option to turn it on or off. But I cannot find it anywhere on any of the camera menus on my c902. I've even tried the simulator on the sonyericsson site without any success. My c902 is an unbranded model sim free, so no unusual optimized software from mobile operators.
Regarding debranding C902,however i copy the xml file in phone with the help of A2uploader but after that i have to update it but when i try to start every time the SEUS says press C button n connect cabel and then Start ,i did so Alot of time but its not conecting, the Cabel is ok usb flash drivers are installed because A2uploader is working on but y this is not conecting m i doing sumthing wrong to connect it, the page which i m posting is there it take lonf time to confirm? or it,s not connected that's y?
yesterday, i changing the housing/fascia of my fully working c902 (used a tuturial on Internet) and everything went fine until i finally assembled everything and found out that it wasn't turning on... i've checked everything a thousand times, every connector and piece and all seems normal but i can't solve this problem. there isn't any signal when connect it to the power either. i just feel the battery getting warmer, nothing else (the battery should be fine since i tested with a backup battery which didn't work either).what could be the cause? please, i'm getting mad with this problem, your help will be very appreciated.
Does anyone know what is wrong with my phone, everytime I charge it lately I get the following error message "Serious error, stop charging your phone and contact your nearest SonyEricsson centre". The phone does charge but I hare noticed that I cannot send or receive texts, calls still work as does the internet and game apps.
My C902 crashes as soon as I turn it on, I just get to the main screen then it freezes and turns itself off.I can't do a software update as I have a mac and there doesn't seem to be an update available for them.

I have a problem with my C902, well two actually, let me start by admitting that I got in a temper with something else and my C902 got thrown on the floor ( I know stupid but I was annoyed). Now obviously I assumed that I have merely damaged some hardware or dislodged a connector as the case got slightly damaged. So I took it apart and checked inside and nothing seems to be damaged, however I did order a new speaker/vibrator unit and fitted that anyway. The problem is still there, no sounds play at all, no alarm, no ringer, not even the test sounds from the service menu tests can be heard, the earpiece speaker still works and the vibrate motor works from the service menu tests but not for incoming calls or SMS. I have noticed that when you play a sound or music if you put the phone up to your ear the loudspeaker does hiss slightly but no actual sounds are played, I am starting to think it may be software related now. Has anyone had this problem before?. I do however have another problem, as I started to wonder if the problem was firmware related I did an update with SEUS now I have a problem that the phone turns itself off everytime it goes into standby and can only be restarted by removing the battery. How do I solve this, I guess the firmware has become corrupted, all of this was done without a memory card installed and the phone is a james bond edition on O2.
