Apr 13, 2010All cam driver that I have tried which has manual focus, requiring the user to set the focus to infinity. This is quite uncomfortable for me, so i look into the codes and edit several lines. Finally I've managed to solve the problem. Now you don't have to switch to infinity mode to use manual focus. You can use the code on your own driver with proper credit to me. Is it the lines that you need to change. Find the lines that control the focus operation (property 10) Change the code for this property with this.
First we need to know which property that we use to turn on the manual focus. (I'm using cybershot experience 8 for example)

Sep 14, 2010Can't seem to install drivers for my Elm, I can use the phone in file transfer mode but not PC mode Have tried the software that came with the phone to automatically install, then went for the auto updater which also failed to install the drivers. I can see the device on device manager for a short while, try to update the drivers manually but this does not work either.

Jan 3, 2010I see a lot of difference in the pics taken with K850 and C905 even if its the same one. I know its a 8MP in C905.but is there any other difference, i mean in the lens quality, the hardware etc Bcos recently i checked the pics taken with a modded C905, its just as from an SLR. The problem with K850 (for me) is that, when i take pics of distant objects in daylight (say 10meters) the camera fails to produce the detail..But this not the case with C905, i can see the image more clearly. also the longer the subject is the colors are not correct.("purple edges" on small objects with sky as background). But these all are gone with C905 pics. So my point is Is C905 having a better camera H/W ? or is it the software? and lastly is there any modded K850 cam driver which can take pica like c905'say be my knowledge is little regarding this issue

Mar 6, 2010I'am searching for a acoustic driver for my c905, i've seen that many of you are using Ultra Clear V2 but this is only a headphone driver (corect me if i'm wrong ), the Franc-Marc driver is also an option but there were complains that in some cases is to loud and can damage internal speaker at high volume, my third option is a mix from those two Franc_marc_Ultra Clear. I want a driver that doesnt distorsionate at high volume, and "tinny" increase volume from thr internal speaker. Please tell me what should i chose from those three drivers, or if you have another driver that is better.

Aug 31, 2010I am trying to control few SE mobile models such as W595, W705 and more in remote via serial module (Hyper Terminal and others). After a period of time where things went smoothly I ran into 2 major problems:
1. Only the first device is installed correctly on the pictures. All other devices identified as "Other devices” and it takes a lot of time (more than 10 minute) till the second device driver are installed.
2. When I run an automation test which communicate with the SE device via serial (using the comport identified in the device manager as management) suddenly the device stops response to the serial commands from any serial tool (my application, Hyper Terminal, etc). What I see is that the device remain identified in the device manager but doesn't response. When I close the serial session and reopen it I get the response of the previous command.

Feb 1, 2010I downloaded A2 Uploader, clicked on "System file tool", connected the phone, went to ifs/settings/acoustic, dragged and dropped 76 files in the folder. I switched the phone back on, no difference at all. I used Rodriguez HD V.4. Did I do something wrong? I was expecting a dramatic change to the sound volume but nothing noticeable changed.

This is not a super driver because i don't possess the knowledge to change certain parameters. I believe the result is still better than the original. I would like also increase quality of video in butyrate, don't know if it's possible but if anyone can help me please post suggestions! 1.0 New Scenes: The images are now sharper, have more contrast and saturation, Less Compression: The shots @ 5MP occupy up to 2,6MB.

Mar 26, 2010i am having trouble changing the camera driver of my sony ericsson K850. I am trying to get WitchKing's CyberShot Xperience 8.3. I am using a2 uploader and whenever i place the camdriver0.dat into the ifs/settings/camera folder, i close down a2uploader by clicking shutdown, then when i turn my phone on after reinserting the battery i can tell the actual camera image is different, but the menu is still the same. I cant go to manual focus or any of the features that cybershot xperience offers. I have also tried replacing the en.lng file into the correct folder (forgot which one it was, but I know it was exactly the folder the tuto told me to go into). Can anyone please help me? I really want the manual focus.
