Hi there, i know very little about phones, so excuse me if i sound I have a S7330, currently on Three .I want to unlock it so i can use an 02 (pay as u go) simcard on it, and at the same time, remove any "Three" software on it, and if possible, add 02 software to it.Can someone help me out,apologies if this is in the wrong section.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Samsung Corby plus here that works on rogers. needless to say (you've probably figured it out on your own. congrats!), I want it unlocked, and after many fruitless searches, I'm more than a bit frustrated about my lack of success. The only results I found are for those damn sites that charges you for an unlock code, and there's no way I'll ever pay 20 dollars for unlock code. Am I clear? I don't want people coming here to tell me stuff like "lololol get your unlock code from mobile in canada :P". I want to know how I'm supposed to unlock this stupid phone, and I'll handle the rest.

I ran Galaxy S2 SIM Unlock after rooting using ODIN etc - I put in the unlock code and it said unlock successful. After putting in my Orange SIM and switching on, I am getting the network error symbol and am unable to make calls. (Interestingly, I do get the Orange SIM Plus app icon on the phones desktop. Also, the phone still boots with the 3 logo - was expecting this to have disappeared completely!).

Whenever I try to access my AOL email I get this error message- "Messages cannot be downloaded to your mobile device. Make sure you are connected and that your email account settings are correct. Then, try to download messages again."I have not changed anything and the phone is connected to my home wireless network. I tried deleting the account and reinstalling but I still get that error.I don't understand why it was working and just stopped. It is especially confusing because of the gmail account working.

View 1 Replies View Relatedi have a samsung sch-r500 from telus, and last week it started coming up with a message "memory is 75% full, please erase messages." My inbox and outbox are both empty. Everytime i try to send a text message thats what i see, now its at 83%. My phone is almost 2 years old and there is no warranty on it. i called telus and they said to bring it to a telus dealer so they will send it in for repair, which will take about 2 weeks plus a fee for them to update the phone software. if anyone has any way to fix this please let me know.
View 6 Replies View RelatedFeeling can't get unlocked in a short time, so I return my Bell Galaxy S to future shop yesterday. Before return, of course, I reset it to factory setting. But after that, when I tried the GPS, it won't work well.If you do a Google search "galaxy s gps issue", you'll find quite a few complaining about the US version of galaxy s gps problem. But not sure our Bell version could have the same issue too?Here are my steps to reproduce the problem:
1) Do a factory reset.
2) manually delete some directories in the internal SD, since the factory reset didn't do it.
3) dial "*#*#1472365#*#*", it will take u to the GPS debug mode. Tap the "get position", it will try to connect gps and calculate the position.Before resetting, it was quite fast, in 5-10 seconds it will give you the position info.But after resetting, the position info never shown, though at the bottom those satellites info still shown (about 8 of them shown). But very strange, the position info not come out.
4) So I tried reset to factory setting again. then try step 3).Still the same result.
I was wondering if any dir/file was deleted by me in the internal SD which could be the cause of the gps issue? But it's not logical. First the the "factory resetting" is suppose to do everything it needs to set it to original state (I did two resetting). Second, I guess those system apps are installed in the internal flash memory, instead of internal SD.But as those satellites info still there, so I assume the hardware still working, while it could be something wrong with the testing software?And I didn't try other GPS apps, like map or navigon. I don't want to set everything up since I reset it for return.Though, I really like galaxy s, and thinking of get it again once 3rd part unlock is available. But this GPS issue really worries me.So folks, could you please try the same thing and test the GPS. If more people can reproduce it, then it will be real problem, though I hope mine is the special case?
