View 8 RepliesI have an s6 and the factory installed 4x1 clock/weather app no longer works. The clock still keeps time, but the weather icon on the right hand side does not show the current weather, will not update, nor will it allow me to touch the widget and enter into the settings/different cities. It was working fine up until about a week ago. I've tried restarting my phone and removing/re-positioning the widget, but no luck. It can't be uninstalled as it came with OS.

View 1 Replies View RelatedLast night I picked up my Galaxy SII and must have accidentally deleted my AccuWeather widget off my home screen. I have tried pressing and holding the screen and looked through the widgets, and yes I found the AccuWeather.com widget, but when I drag it back onto my phone home screen. I get all weather for the next five days on my home screen as well, instead of just the current weather with the temperature etc.

I noticed the geo-location tag for my photos are quite a bit off from where my actual location is. Even though the pin is properly positioned on the actual location, the street name and house number are quite a bit off. Did they do this on purpose? The actual street that shows up on the detailed information for the picture is about 2 blocks from my house.

View 6 Replies View RelatedThe weather app on my home screen doesn't always display the weather - it often says there is no data available. However, when I access the app and manually refresh the weather is displayed and remains when I return to the home screen. Is this an issue without Android 2.2 or is the handset at fault? The same app works perfectly on my Hero running on android 2.1
View 2 Replies View RelatedI downloaded a 3rd party weather app, removed the default Samsung weather widget from my home page, and added the 3rd party widget to my home page. As it turns out, the 3rd party app was buggy, so I removed it. I want to re-add the default S6 Edge weather widget to my home screen, but I can't find it.
I'm using Nova on ATT BTW. It seems that the widgets visible using Nova are slightly different from the widgets available using Touchwiz. How to re-add the default S6 edge weather widget?

View 1 Replies View RelatedSamsung Galaxy S5 is my first Android phone. In the process to customize my phone, I accidentally made the weather information in home screen disappear, now it show only the time (even the background picture gone). I try to remove weather widget and add it back but it does not works. I really need to turn it back because only this will give me updated weather in lock screen.

View 3 Replies View RelatedEver since my Verizon Samsung Galaxy S6 system was updated to version G920VVRU1AOE2 two or three days ago, I receive a notification at 6:20 am with the day's weather prediction, and the notification uses sound + vibrate. View 4 Replies View RelatedFor some reason, I cannot get the weather to show up on the edge screen along with the time and date.
What I've tried:
* Going to Settings > Edge Screen > Information Stream (switched to on) > Weather (with Edge screen switched to "On")
* Going to the Weather Widget > More > Settings > Edge Screen set to on and Use Current Location set to on as well.
The odd thing is that I did see the weather show up on the edge screen just once before, but how to get it back again.
Is there a way to add the little weather widget/icon that you see on the galaxy phones on lock screen mode? (its and icon of clouds, sun, etc with temperature). I believe I had this option as some point and somehow deleted or was removed with last update. Galaxy S5 running latest 5.1 software..
View 5 Replies View RelatedHow the weather widget on the lock screen of the S5 works? This morning, I found that it remained completely non-current, still displaying the night's forecast at the end of the morning. It wasn't in line with either the accurateweather or the google now widget forecasts, so I guess that's not where the lock screen widget info comes from.
So I restarted my phone, and now the information isn't there anymore, even after a few hours. So how is this controlled?
I have lost functionality of the native app that came with my Galaxy S5. Have tried thr GO and Weather Channel apps and theu both failed. Lollipop sucks, no doubt, but the must be a weather app that works with it on the S5.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter the upgrade to Lollipop, the weather on the lockscreen is gone. Have tried turning it on and off and many reboots, but can't get it to come back. Seems more people are having trouble with NOT being able to get rid of it.
