After taking pictures with my IPhone 4S the pictures are not uploaded from the camera roll to ICloud and my iPad. The pictures do not show up in the the iPhone Photo stream after taken.

I have an iPhone 4S. Photo stream works for a while but then it will just stop and not upload any photos to iCloud. Rebooting the phone resolves the problem. This happens very often and is frustrating for something that should just work. Once they get uploaded, they are downloaded to other devices without a problem.Â

I never set up photstream until after I put 600 pics on my camera roll. I just set up photostream today and it says that all recent pics i take from now will go into photostream? Two main questions? I don't seem to be able to find pictures from my phone on the cloud. It says it's automatically updating to the cloud when I am near a wireless signal. We both have on the option where iCloud will sink very often and back up her phone. I know that I could restore my phone with her information and get them that way, but I'd rather not make my phone essentialy hers just to save a few pictures. Yesterday i had restore my phone due to it crashing. I also couldn't turn it off because my lock button is broken.I was advised to restore it.I used the option keep all media. After the restore it asked me if I wanted to backup from the icloud which was last done at 9:30 that morning! However no pictures or video have gone to the camera roll.
Pictures have appeared on photostream so they are ok. But from my understanding Icloud does backup video but just not onto photostream. how to get the videos back.?

I have a 32GB IPhone 4 with IOS 5.1.I had photostream turned on and working, but recently it stopped. Also, i had backups turned on for iCloud, but those have started failing claiming I don't have enough space.I have all app backups turned off, no music or video backups either, but when I view the backup menu, it tells me that the next backup size (all apps/video/music turned off) is going to be 5.6gb. Obviously I'm losing memory somewhere, but I can't figure out where. The only peculiar thing I've noticed is that the 'Other' storage is showing 2.9gb used, but I can't tell what is contained in that

I turned the option of Photostream off when I realised I couldn't edit the photos on it, on my phone. However since the capability is now available with the upgrade, I turned it back on. My friend started a shared photostream group and while everyone else can get the invitation every time he attempts to send me one it says Â
'Invitation cannot be sent to this phone number' or something of that mannerÂ

I turned off the photo stream, which should be separate from my videos as they were on both my camera roll and my video app, but NOT on my photo stream, and they disappeared. It took me a few days to realize what happened, so I turned it back on, but they were still gone. I back up to iCloud but only see the most recent version. There is a version from 2013 on iTunes if I absolutely must do this…..but it was almost two years ago so I will lose many videos.Â
