I have bought used n97 today. i Want to format it but the user has given security code to it. i applied 00000 and 12345 but it has changed.is there any software to find out current security code?

I was just wondering if I went ahead and bought a blackberry curve 8900 off ebay is there anyway i could just put my current sim card in the bb and use my current plan. I dont want the data charges. I have a E71, "Product code 0558790 and firmware 410.21.010" I use the nokia email messaging software so internet connection type Edge/3G( Vodafone internet ) and the power consuption of 3G connection very high and battery is being empty every day. I charge the battery every day.V300 and older fimware was not draws more current but 3G connection draws more current in the latest V400 and 410 software. I have ovi_maps_installer_3.06_11wk7_b11_s60_5.0_nocs_beta and it is incredibly slow locating a position on the GPS. I don't use a data plan so I need to know where I can download the current version to my PC.The GPS on both my son's and wife's 5230 seems to snap to position in seconds. They both have one of the 3.03 versions. My 3.06 version takes several minutes in the same location. I had a lot of trouble in the Dominican Republic and in Colombia with 3.06. Could I switch the SIM card and memory card with my son's phone? Maybe it's the GPS circuit on my phone that is so slow.Is 3.09 available for the 5230? Ovi and Nokia seem to make it very difficult to find the latest version for a particular phone.

If my phone is idle more than 15 minutes I also have to enter a lock code to enable my phone. I can not turn this feature off. I get the message "Unable to unlock". I can not change the 15 minute timer either.

View 4 Replies View RelatedN97.i had my first attempt to download a free game from Ovi shop.after i got the txt message and went to the link for the download, and download completed, the blue screen said something about how the games are specially chosen > OK or Exit , the system froze, i tried to click both ok and exit but nothing happened.
i did a power off and the power on, and then when i went to setting to find the game, i recieved a message that said Security MOdule Error.every time i tried anything, like checking contacts for damage, i go the same error message.i did another power off and power on and the error message stopped.i have uninstalled the game and because it was my first download like that, i am now shy to try again.what might i have done wrong and how could i make sure it doesn't happen again.

Versions are:
Ovi Maps is v 3.04 10wk17 b07 MW OpenGL LN MN
Maps are version 0.1.24.114
Location is Finland, software is finnish.
"Varoitus turvatarkkailusta"/'Warning for security surveillance' is selected on options. When tried, no warning of what so ever is presented, no sound or visual alert, nor nothing special could be seen on display when driven past cameras that has been there for years. The situation is the same when I tested using offline or onlive navigation.
