I have a problem receiving messages on ma phone. my phone doesn’t receive msgs. I have to restart it to receive them (shut and start again).I was using the phone memory when the problem occurred so I changed it to the big memory and the same no change. the phone and the big memory are almost free.

I've owned Nokia phones (an no other make) for over 10 years, but this is by far my most disappointing experience. I am at wits end and near the tipping point (of purchasing an iPhone 5).Nearly 1 in 5 times I use the darned thing it crashes. Also, my icons for search items are gone (except for restaurants). I restored the phone and now it won't download any maps! I used to have complete maps for the USA, Canada and Mexico, but now it will not even download the USA.I can not download the latest firmware (version of Symbian). My phone says it is up-to-date, but it is not. I do not have a PC so I can not use Nokia Suite (why? Nokia, get real and write a Mac version already).
When I reboot my phone it will not receive voice mail or text messages! I have to reboot it again.Why is this phone so buggy? I'm sending it in for warranty repair but I don't think I want this or any Nokia software phone. I think I'll try a Nokia Windows phone if Nokia will give me some credit for this phone and allow me to apply it towards the Windows versions. I mean seriously, Apple has their bomb proof software that works. If there is a bug, give them a week and there's an easily obtained update. I'm not an Apple fanboy, but I'm being driven away. I have one problem with my AT&T iPhone 4. I send texts to people and they don't receive it. It sends but the person doesn't receive it. This is multiple people on different networks. Sometimes I don't even receive their texts. I did a little research and I learned that it isn't an issue from Apple but rather AT&T. And this has been going on for a few weeks. Should I contact AT&T about this?

I received my upgrade on Monday - a shiney new Blackberry Bold 9700. After setting it all up and getting the phone how i liked it, I started to notice problems........
My Blackberry messenger either didn't work or sent & received messages hours after they were actually sent.The internet was painfully slow if it loaded at all.
If I tried to make calls it would rarely work either taking forever to connect or when it did try to connect, I would hear a triple beep repeatedly as though there was a problem.When people tried to call me, they would go straight to my voicemail even though I was not on a call and had full signal.
My network provider immediately agreed to replace the handset and get me a new one out the next day and today I received the new handset. I've come home, tried to make a few calls on the handset before setting it up and all I am getting is an SOS symbol where the signal symbol should be and I am not able to make calls or do anything else.
I tried to restore the backed up file from my last handset and although it restored my numbers & text messages as well as my background image & alarms, it has not restored my programmes that I had installed and it has not restored my email and facebook settings. Am I doing something wrong or do I have another faulty handset?
For some reason when trying to use either the AOL IM or Google Chat client, the phone doesn't make any audio notifications of new messages in a conversation. I've made sure that under more/settings play sound on new messages and vibrate on new messages are checked, but the phone doesn't do that.

For some reason, this only happens in my city. I was away in London for the weekend and it worked perfectly fine as soon as I left the vicinity of my city. When I got back to my home, it stopped working again. I don't know if this is a coincidence, or if it just doesn't work.

Anyways, I can make calls and receive calls, and have tested this out numerous times. However when I go to send or receive texts, it shows them as sent, but the other person does not get a text, and vice versa. My phone gets text messages and can receive calls at certain time but after a while if you try to make a call or send a text it won't go thru even though I have full bars or close to it.
Its weird I have service for like half an hour then suddently it stops. I have asked people with blackberrys who have verizon in the area and they aren't having any problems.
I have tried taking out the battery/Reset. It worked a few times but these last few days it has not solved the problem.
I already spoke to Verizon and they tried to do some troubleshooting with me.

Please help me sort out an issue I have with my, new N85 phone. I can receive text msgs but cannot send them. I have followed the guides that i have got from Nokia but the phone won't allow me to change the message centre number that I have been given. It says that i am unable to change it as the phone is reading from the sim card. I have put the sim into another nokia phone and it shows the right number. why won't it see it on the new phone and why won't it let me change it.

I had a virus in my PC a few days ago, actually a Trijan, which Symantec was able to remove without requiring my Laptop to be formatted.But after that Camera stopped working, neither from hardware button, nor from applications. I reinstalled the firmware 30.xx and it started working again.
Now again Camera has stopped working, and also i have noticed, that when i click the arrow to go to next message, it goes to some months old messages randomly.DO i need some sort of formatting ? Will only hard reset work ? Is it some sort of virus on my cell?
