Mar 6, 2010I've searched everywhere but theres no WLAN connection option on my nokia e63. Is it possible that it's missing the drivers to use it?

Dec 24, 2012confirm that the "mark/unmark all" option does not exist in the Nokia 920. I sometimes send a generic seasons greetings wishes to all on my contact list. I used the "Mark all" function and send them all the same message at once in past Nokias. It seems like I have to go through the tedious process of selecting them one by one in my contact list with the 920.

Suddenly my subscription shows cancelled. On calling customer care, they asked my to renew contract with mobile operator. When there is no such case with Nokia Messaging.
How do I get it activated again....
God why didnt I simply go for the time tested Blackberry. If one has to pay, why not go for Blackberyy or iPhone.

Feb 11, 2010I bought the phone about 3 weeks now, But here comes my next problem that is very close for me to actually throw it out of my apartment. The phone charger that comes with the phone DOESN'T WORK! It never worked from the start, and I had to use the USB charger from my computer to N97 Mini. Okay, so that may be a solution. However, I am travelling abroad for a conference soon. How am I suppose to bring my computer along with USB charger and everything if I was to travel light. For those people who is going ot suggest, try and plug the USB charger to other computer. Here is the problem. I've tried my entire office computers after office hour. ONLY 1 computer manage to charge for 1 hr before it 'automatically' disconnects. The rest only recognize the PC suit and Mass memory... but NOT the charging.

Mar 20, 2010I installed the latest Nokia OS for my N86 yesterday, v 21.006. I now find that the BBC iPlayer doesn't work. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled, and downloaded fresh videos of Dr Who etc, etc.
But still I get the error message "unable to play either sound or video clip, Trying to play partially." And then all i get is the sound of Dr Who fighting the daleks. This all worked fine before I applied the update. I can still watch videos recorded using the camera, and via the France 24 application.
I will call Nokia Helpline, but am expecting to get told that this is due to a problem with the BBC iPlayer.

Jun 12, 2010So I picked up my brand new X6 today, and it's a really great phone. However what I notice is that for certain apps like the ovi store or maps, I cannot choose a connection which it should go through, and it always connects through my operator's network instead of my WLAN which is in range...How can I change connection behavious for these (and other) applications? I already set my connection order to Wlan first and then the operator connection, which works fine for ebuddy to give an example...so what's wrong with the other stuff?

Apr 8, 2010How do you use the GPS under your WLAN? I got the GPS working once.used it and it was fine. But ever since then I haven't been able to get it to work. I have set my connection to 'online' and the Network destination to 'Internet' (VF Au Internet). When i try to use it all it says in the top right hand corner is connecting, but never connects. Other times it says sign in and I attempt to but says there is 'no connection'.Sometimes when i change some of these options to test it it freezes on me and sometimes resets itself.What settings are wrong or what am I doing wrong?

Mar 11, 2010I've looked on the forum and cant find anything that relates to this so hoping someone can help/advise. Ive had this phone about a week now and have noticed a few problems:
1. The music player hangs almost every time i use it - have to turn off the phone to get it to work again.
2. The alarm function doesnt seem to work when on charge?
3. There seems to be a lot of lag using the menus and apps on the phone.
Is anyone else having these problems or is it a faulty phone I have?

Jul 21, 2010i have 2 annoying problems with my Nokia X6 16GB: Problem 1: I cannot browse the internet using a wireless LAN Connection (WLAN). i manage to connect to my wireless network at home but every time i want to go to a website i get the following error 'invalid server name'. i used the connection wizard to connect. i added my home network as 'access point' , nothing seems to work. i thought maybe it is a firmware problem. now the latest firmware release is 21.0.004 i still have 20.0.005. so i tried to update my firmware using the 'nokia software updater'. which brings me to my next problem: Problem 2: Nokia software updater says i have already the latest firmware while i read on the site of nokia the latest firmware for my phone is 21.0.004. how's that possible? since i can't get the new firmware using the 'nokia software update', does anyone know how i can? i do not want to use the software updater on my phone since i have a prepaid SIM card, and connecting to the internet would cost me a lot of money. I've read somewhere that the software was not available 'in each region'. i live in Belgium (small country in West Europe), can i check anywhere if the software is available 'in my region'?

Jun 15, 2010I'm still the delighted owner of an X6!In the first month of using my device I've used the internet via my own wlan and a nearby access point (BTFon) so that when I go on holiday I'll know how to check emails etc at no cost to me. I've just got my O2 bill and found that in fact I've been charged for using the wlan which is something of a surprise. It's really not a lot of money but when you expect no charge at all.Have I failed to set something correctly? I can't imagine that if I'm using my device over a wlan connection correctly that O2 would even be aware.My second point is to ask if I should be concerned about security whilst surfing with my X6. We all use security software on our pc's at home. What if anything should I do about security when using my X6?
