Nokia Nseries :: 808 SAR Too High?
Aug 20, 2012I noticed that SAR ( Specific absorption rate ) for the nokia 808 is among the highest for mobile phones . I'm using nokia 808 as my primary phone, so I'm bit worried about it.

May 24, 2010Been offered a couple of phones as replacement for my problem prone N97 and this is the list

My initial reaction was to reject all of them as I feel they all fall under the Mid Range umbrella, while the N97 is marketed as High End so I expect a high end replacement.

Nokia :: High Pitch Noise On 6303
Jan 11, 2010I have a nokia 6303. I was wondering if anyone who owns this phone hears a high pitch noise when you put it against your ear. I keep hearing this high pitch noise on my phone everytime i make calls and recieve calls. I also hear the high pitch noise when i have the phone next to my ear even when not making calls. Does anyone else have this problem with their nokia 6303?? or is this phone just made this way?

Dec 11, 2012I have a problem with camera of 920. I can't take high resolution photo. They are always of 1278x720 and of small mb size (200-400mb). So when i zoom in they are with poor details. I have not found settings to change photo resolution and so i don't know how to take better photo.

Jul 4, 2010I wonder if it is possible to change maximum video capturing resolution (programmably) from 640x480 @30fps to lets say 720x480 @ 25 fps (720p would be beyond my expectations anyway). I guess there should not be any dramatic quality drop because of 5 fps, but the quality of picture will be somewhat better - similar to DVD resolution.

Jan 4, 2012I have just installed a CK-100 into a vehicle. Connected to an iphone 4 via Bluetooth. Music audio is outputted through the RCA sockets into the AUX in of my stereo. Every 10 minutes or so of playing music there is high pitched noise which comes over the top of the audio. Lasts about 20 seconds and then the audio is OK again. Has anyone had this problem? Both latest firmware's.

Apr 8, 2010I'm a E72 user together with a Parrot CK3000EVO Bluetooth Car Handsfree attached to my VW Stereo.I earlier used this setup with a HTC Diamond. Back then I didn't receive phone sounds (like SMS, reminders etc) through the Handsfree. Only Phone calls were transmitted.
However, with my E72 every single sound is transmitted to the BT Handsfree including Maps voice guidance. The later is OK, but it is way louder then for example Phone Call Volume.It also interrupts ongoing phone calls which is highly irritating.So I've got two questions in hope for help:Anyone knows how to tune the sound from Maps? Lower the Volume?Is there a way to stop sound like alerts, reminders, bleeps etc on the E72 to be delivered to BT Handsfree?Is there a way to stop Maps interrupting Phone Calls?

Aug 10, 2015Just purchased my G4 a few days ago and noticed that anytime I play media of any sort, the volume fluctuates between high and low.
It starts of at the volume level I set it to, the gets quieter and quieter till you can't hear anything then it gets loud again.
Initially thought perhaps I was inadvertently hitting the volume down button but the volume indicator does not move.

Apr 9, 2012I am currently with Vodafone in the uk and about 6 months ago I recieved a text message saying I was close to my data limit of 750mb and that they would provide me with an extra 250mb charged at £5 per shot. I downloaded a data usage app to monitor my usage and it was climbing at a ludicrous rate. As imaginable when I contacted Vodafone to inform them of the issue they didn't want to know and were not the slightest bit interested in the problem at all. I decided to return the phone to apple who after literally 5 minutes of using the phone said that there was defiantly and issue with the handset and that due to it still being under warrenty they would replace it free of charge.
Now this problem seems to have reoccurred where as I very nearly went over my limit last month I put this down to playing draw something through 3G and susiquently deleted the app. I decided to reset my data usage on the iPhone I have this morning already used 20mb + in just under an hour. It isn't as through it climbs when not being used it just seems to use loads or recieved data when I'm surfing the net.

Just today I still had 221, then I updated 4 apps (I only have like 5 extra apps, it updated speech recognition, touchnote,..) and it dropped to 209. At this rate I will have no internal memory by the end of the year.. I move everything to SD with APPS2SD when possible. Any tips on keeping the internal memory high?

Jul 4, 2010In the past, before iOS4, I was able to assign hi - res picture to my contacts.When someone called, the large picture would show up,not the little pic in the top right corner of the screen.Yes,I am using the Google sync/exchange.But I also know that assigning a picture to a contact on the iPhone will use that picture and it will be hi - res.Now,after iOS4,its 50 - 50.I've assigned a picture to my wife. And the picture is hi - res.When she calls I get the large picture.But assigning a picture to my son, its resized so when he calls I only get the small picture and is a low - res version of what I assigned.I haven't changed any settings in Google either.So what might make some pictures show up correctly, and others not?Any ideas or anyone else experiencing this as well?
