I am chasing a versatile mobile for some extensive travel. Beside music and pictures and GPS (and Radio) I am after one that can do some simle word processing and spreadsheets- for travel diaries and budgets etc. From reading the information I can't tell if the 5800 can do this with its limited internal memory. Can anyone tell me if it is possible of if the N97 or E72 is able to do this

I'm having another issue with the xoom. Whenever I open an excel spreadsheet the document opens then closes within a minute. I believe it has something to do with my RAM.

N900 could be a great platform for businness usage, but without software it will be a real lemon tree...
I've had this phone for 2 weeks but haven't been able to find any video editing application. It's definitely listed in the specification. I've checked the menu when opening a file and there's no option to edit there either.
View 8 Replies View RelatedWhenever I try to write something in capital letters, the predictive text shuts down the whole messaging app! I just found this today trying to respond to my friend before I figured out what is wrong.To answer his question where I am, I tried to write"I'm in DC right now"
However, I only got to "I'm in D", as when I pressed C (I was using qwerty keyboard), the whole thing closed. It happened several times, and I could only respond once I turned predictive text off. Now, every time I try to just type in "DC" in the message with predictive text on, the whole thing shuts down!Since this is a NAM phone, it's still running old firmware (wonder why updates are only available to phones in some parts of the world and not other?). Did anyone else experience that? Does new firmware fix it? Or am I again the only unlucky one with the weirdest bug
Does anyone have an idea how to reduce the font size in the editor while ur typing a message in nokia X6.I can hardly see 5-6 words when i start typing.I tried changing the font settings to small but that does'nt change the font on editor.My dad has a nokia 5230 and the font in his phone while typing is small.Any help?

View 4 Replies View RelatedHad some real problems with my N8 so it's been to the Nokia Repair Shop and had a complete rebuild. Everything seemed alright apart from the Conversations feature, often when I send a text message within it, an error message of 'Feature Not Supported' but after a number of attempts it eventually sends.
That's fine for people I have sent messages to but it seems when I send a new message to a new contact just through creating a new message I get an error of 'Message Editor: Feature Not Supported' which means I can't wish my friend Happy Birthday today!!!! This happens all the time when using the New Message function. I've tried to restore to factory defaults but with no luck.
I bought myself the nokia 5530 last week, and today I tried to open a pdf file, and the phone couldn't open it. I thought it had a document viewer and I checked it again on the Nokia site for it's specifications. There it was under specs "document viewer". Now my question is: How do I install it. Because I checked everywhere and I can't find that app on my phone. It also is not included on the CD which came with the package.I bought myself the 5530 because it had a document viewer. I like to have my slides with me of the class I'm attending, I hated to bring my laptop to class everyday for just the slides which is why I bought this phone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedHow to get the video editor back? I had to do a hard reset a few weeks ago after FP1 came out as the phone wouldn't start. Nokia Suite (initially) wouldn't reflash, saying a SIM card was needed (which was in) but beta labs kindly took note of the error report and released a new Nokia Suite that did allow a reflash. This didn't reinstall the video editor however. I took my phone to a Nokia care point prior to this but they couldn't install it either.

I would like to be able to use my iPhone 5 to open the spreadsheet (in ? app ...), click on the client's number & have the iPhone activate & ring that number for me.
