Nokia :: N97 / E72 Document Editor And Spreadsheet Compatible?
Jan 26, 2010
I am chasing a versatile mobile for some extensive travel. Beside music and pictures and GPS (and Radio) I am after one that can do some simle word processing and spreadsheets- for travel diaries and budgets etc. From reading the information I can't tell if the 5800 can do this with its limited internal memory. Can anyone tell me if it is possible of if the N97 or E72 is able to do this
I'm having another issue with the xoom. Whenever I open an excel spreadsheet the document opens then closes within a minute. I believe it has something to do with my RAM.
I just want to know if i can get a free documents editor for the n900.i like it how i can overclock the n900 from 600 mhz to 1000 mhz in less than 30 sec.
I've had this phone for 2 weeks but haven't been able to find any video editing application. It's definitely listed in the specification. I've checked the menu when opening a file and there's no option to edit there either.
Whenever I try to write something in capital letters, the predictive text shuts down the whole messaging app! I just found this today trying to respond to my friend before I figured out what is wrong. To answer his question where I am, I tried to write"I'm in DC right now"
However, I only got to "I'm in D", as when I pressed C (I was using qwerty keyboard), the whole thing closed. It happened several times, and I could only respond once I turned predictive text off. Now, every time I try to just type in "DC" in the message with predictive text on, the whole thing shuts down!Since this is a NAM phone, it's still running old firmware (wonder why updates are only available to phones in some parts of the world and not other?). Did anyone else experience that? Does new firmware fix it? Or am I again the only unlucky one with the weirdest bug
Does anyone have an idea how to reduce the font size in the editor while ur typing a message in nokia X6.I can hardly see 5-6 words when i start typing.I tried changing the font settings to small but that does'nt change the font on editor. My dad has a nokia 5230 and the font in his phone while typing is small.Any help?
I think I lost them either after Belle Refresh or either after the hard reset. I tried reinstalling the software but I still dont have them. Is there any way I could download them?
Had some real problems with my N8 so it's been to the Nokia Repair Shop and had a complete rebuild. Everything seemed alright apart from the Conversations feature, often when I send a text message within it, an error message of 'Feature Not Supported' but after a number of attempts it eventually sends.
That's fine for people I have sent messages to but it seems when I send a new message to a new contact just through creating a new message I get an error of 'Message Editor: Feature Not Supported' which means I can't wish my friend Happy Birthday today!!!! This happens all the time when using the New Message function. I've tried to restore to factory defaults but with no luck.
I bought myself the nokia 5530 last week, and today I tried to open a pdf file, and the phone couldn't open it. I thought it had a document viewer and I checked it again on the Nokia site for it's specifications. There it was under specs "document viewer". Now my question is: How do I install it. Because I checked everywhere and I can't find that app on my phone. It also is not included on the CD which came with the package.I bought myself the 5530 because it had a document viewer. I like to have my slides with me of the class I'm attending, I hated to bring my laptop to class everyday for just the slides which is why I bought this phone.
Symbian has been around for a very long time but I'm still struggling to find asimple free text editor where I can create a *.txt file and write down information in it or perhaps I don't know about it, so I was wondering is anyone familiar in any free text editor compatible with Belle?
How to get the video editor back? I had to do a hard reset a few weeks ago after FP1 came out as the phone wouldn't start. Nokia Suite (initially) wouldn't reflash, saying a SIM card was needed (which was in) but beta labs kindly took note of the error report and released a new Nokia Suite that did allow a reflash. This didn't reinstall the video editor however. I took my phone to a Nokia care point prior to this but they couldn't install it either.
I can no longer find the prestigious N8 photo editor and video editor in the menu after Belle refresh. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is this what should happen
Can someone tell me shortcut keys for Zoom In & Out in Adobe LE 2.5 ? Since the firware upgrade pressing the optinav key does not zoom the document. Only way now is to use options and press zoom to activate zoom in & out.
my nokia internal memory i can't save my document in internal memory, why? And in menu i can't find file manager are exist I hope you can answer my question in indonesia language
I am wondering where to get freeware document viewers, I just came off using an E series device & it has QuickOffice build in.On N900 only Adobe PDF reader/Viewer is included, why isn't QuickOffice? I want free apps not trial apps, best regards.
I am using PC suite and ovi.I have backed up my phone etc, but I was wondering if its possible to save msgs in a word document or some sort of printable text form? When i export the msgs, they save as vmg files? Is it possible to have them in a word document and even in conversation form?
Has anyone ever tried "Evince Document Viewer" from the "Extras devel" repository? I was messing about with it this morning and discovered that pressing Ctrl+P brings up a print dialog. It's now got me wondering if there are any plans to enable printing of documents straight to printer.
I wana know if there is a way to restore my backup messages from spreadsheet to my iphone. I actually did the backup in a spreadsheet file and now I could not find a way to restore it back to my iphone. So idiot of me that I also did not backup from itune!
Is there a way to edit the backup file at AppData/Roaming/AppleComputer/MobileSync/Backup 3d0d7e5fb2ce288813306e4d4636395e047a3d28 with sms.db?
I use MS Excel 2013 at work for various client contact databases. I use Dropbox so that I can access the data from anywhere using a PC, iPad, or iPhone. I would like to be able to use my iPhone 5 to open the spreadsheet (in ? app ...), click on the client's number & have the iPhone activate & ring that number for me. I don't want to add the clients to my iPhone Contacts. I want to work directly from the Spreadsheet. Any way that this could be done using Formulas, Cloud Storage, Apps?
Any program that can see pictures embedded in a excel spreadsheet? I receive a lot of excel spreadsheets with prices and pictures on it. I can't see it with the viewer or with Documents To Go. Using the Bold 9930 with latest update from Verizon but I never was able to see them on Blackberry (Any version). Frustation only adds up now that I have the Playbook and I can't see it there too.
I was almost certain I came across a screen with separate apps for viewing word processing and spreadsheet files, among others. But now I can't seem to find it. I'd like to carry around a spreadsheet I have at home (Excel) if I wasn't imagining things.
"Show all" in the menu doesn't give me any relief.
