I have been experiencing a really annoying problem with my headset and I was wondering if anyone could help. I cannot hear my recipient when I call/receive calls unless i use loudspeaker or headpiece. In other words, people can hear me fine but I can't hear them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I cannot hear any music or audio.. If I plug my headset back up I hear everything fine through the headset. I need to be able to use the phone without the headset!

I turned the headset off and held the call button and volume up but simultaneously but it doesn't give me the alternating blue/red led like the AT&T website says it should? Any ideas?

Do i need a special nokia lumia 800 headset, or are the ones ive used adequate? They do fit perfectly in the audio socket so i dont see why i cant hear much from them, the 2 headsets ive tried work fine in the asha and can hear loud and clear

But when an incoming call comes, why does not the phone ring? i can hear only from the bluetooth headset speaker. Unfortunately, when I go to the Zune player or Xbox Live, the sound comes out the speakerphone on the Lumia 800, not the headset. I go back to phone or voicemail and the sound comes out the bluetooth headset.The MM450 headset also can be plugged into the phone with a 3.5mm cord, and the sound comes through the headset on all applications: phone, voicemail, Zune, Xbox Live.Is this a bluetooth issue with Windows Phone 7.5 or with the Lumia 800?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been experiencing a funny problem when charging my N97. I bought my phone in August last year. It had been working fine till now and still is. I really have no complaints when it is concerned to performance and usablity. Initial issues were promptly solved with the firmware updates.
Yesterday night, I found out that I had this problem. When I hooked up my phone with my charger, it did not show any light. I tried to use the charger on another mobile(SAMSUNG) which sports the same USB port as my N97 and it worked ! I also used the samsung charger (though its only 700mA) on my N97 and the charging indicator glowed ! To my surprise, the charger adapter pin that ships with the N97 allowing us to charge the phone with older chargers also allowed me to charge my phone. In short, everything charged my phone(including USB) except the provided charger.
Secondly, of lately the headset has become dogdy. Earlier, even if I ran while having hooked up, the connection was good. Now, even if I move the slightest, the phone looses the connection with the headset and the headset icon disappears. Then I need to plug it out and the plug it in again for about 2-3 times to get the icon to reappear. Now if anyone can explain to me why this is happening and the solution to it, I would be really happy.
I am having problems with nokia headphone remote problem. I have nokia 5800, when i plug my headphones in my phone i can only hear in the right ear but the left ear doesn't work. If i plug only the headphones without the remote it works on both ears. I can't figure out how to make the remote work in the left ear, is it a phone setting problem or is the remote broken? Anyone else having this problem? I need the remote because if i only use the headphones without it it would be too short and won't reach my ear ......

Now, when I go to messaging, click on Add recipient and select the name of a contact for which the number is +XX(YY)ZZZZZZZ (XX being country code, and YY being area code), I get an error message saying "Recipient not valid" and "Recipient "<+XX(YY)ZZZZZZZ>" is not valid. Cannot send the message."This is a serious regression from previous version... and plain WRONG. THis is the standard international form for representing a nubmber. It seems like it happens often and the only fix is to turn WiFi on and off, or tun the phone on and off. Its very strange because one minute I am using the WiFi just fine, and the next minute it isn't able to fetch data. I am using a new N-150 router, and the laptop and WiFi don't have these issues.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a Lumia 800 and have discovered a bug where the recipient name is wrong if contacts have very similar phone numbers. Example:
I have two contacts with the following phone numbers
Contact 1. - 0703 246 802
Contact 2. - 0705 246 802
Note that the only thing differing the contacts is 0703 from 0705.
Regardless of whom of these two I send a text message they always show as being sent to Contact 1. This includes any History as well, they are all grouped into Contact 1 regardless of to which phone number I send the text message to. This is very annoying and it makes it impossible to see who actually had the message sent to when looking back at the history. I have tried moving the numbers around to different contact categories, changing contact name and so on, but it has made no difference to the behavior.
I have updated my N96 software to 30.033.
I have noticed some problems which are
1) GPS is not working?
2) Ringtone quality is not good ( Overall Speaker Quality is not good after update)
3) There is No facebook.
4) Phone gets switch off automatically.
5) Music player, videoplayer, Camera is very slow.
6) overall phone working is very slow.
The main issue is GPS not working. help on GPS.
I hope Nokia Update Developer will read this review and they will launch a new update to solve these issues very soon with all modifications.
