If I try to send an E-mail to a Hotmail address with a 1.2 MB picture in it, the Nokia 6700 indicates after a very long time that the message is not deliverable due to network issues. What is the reason, is the picture too big? Or is it a provider-related issue?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI bought a Nokia 6700 slide mobile on the 26th of June, 2010. I had a great liking for this phone before buying it. The 5MP Carl Zeiss optics camera, ALS display and so many other features impressed me. But when I purchased this mobile for my birthday on June 26th, I was very much disappointed with the camera quality. Despite having a 5MP camera with Carl Zeiss lens, the pictures taken by the camera are of very poor clarity. The clarity is similar to a 1.3 MP camera and is worse when pictures are shot in any lighting condition. I had great hopes on this camera after reading so many good reviews from several websites. But, this camera is not on par with my expectations and has failed me. My Nokia 7210 Supernova mobile which I had earlier used to take pictures of excellent clarity.
Are there any adjustments to be made before taking a picture? I've used all modes specified in the Options but to no avail.
I just bought a 6700 but I can't send text messages. When I send something, it sends as normal but the receiver does not receive. I can receive texts as normal though.

I have a Nokia 6700 Classic on O2 and it's been working fine for over a year up until a few days ago when the Facebook application started being a bit problematic. I can load the app up no problem over packet data, 3G, GPRS or whatever available but when I click on the email address box to type my in address, it stays white and nothing appears. Got my new N900 2 days ago, I can not seem to send pictures via text / mms like i have always been able to. I take a picture & then look at the options at the bottom of the screen i see:

I select Share & only get 3 options:
Send Via BlueTooth,
Send Via Email
Share Service
In none of these options can I find away to text a picture to someone. What Am i doing wrong??I have updaed my phone to latest firmware hoping this might help.. but no

If i do receive pictures or send them to other phones they are signifcantly reduced in size and appear as a small square on screen. I have attached a pic of my phone screen with a picture displayed that was sent to me after from my girlfriends N85.
I have been through the settings to the best of my knowledge and set the image size to large but this seems to have no effect.To do this i went to MESSAGING>OPTIONS>SETTINGS>MULTIMEDIA MESSAGE>IMAGE SIZE (set this to large)

When sending an email, my E72 used to offer suggestions from my address book when I start typing in the "To" section. That is no longer working. My only option is the click in the box, and another window opens where I then select from my address book.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI wondered if there is someone that can help me. I have an iphone 3g and have my aol email account set up on the phone. It was working fine before I went away on holiday but since I have returned I am unable to send emails as iit keeps saying that the recipient has been rejected as the server does not allow relaying. I did not use my phone while I was away except for texting so didn't change any settings. I have read through similar questions and have tried all of different things suggested (turning off wifi, although it was never on wifi it was using 3g), making sure that both the primary server and the other SMTP servers are set as on and the details are filled out but still nothing works. Originally it was only set up with the primary server ticked as on and I never had a problem with it. I've also tried turning the phone off and on again several times and tried the power off and holding down the home key at the same time.

In the "message settings' option menu, "e-mail settings" isn't available. I have managed to set up several email accounts by simply going into the 'email" option in the "messaging" menu, but I can't set the phone to check for emails automatically or to notify me of new emails, etc, etc, in other words, I have no menu option, for adjusting the settings for emails. I am running the latest version of the software
version 10.60.

View 3 Replies View RelatedUsing an iPhone 5s, I took a photo and sent it to one of my contacts. I have several email accounts and the default one is my gmail account. When I selected the photo and chose to email it, the sending email account in the new email message was my gmail account. However, as soon as I selected the recipient, the sending email account changed to my outlook.com instead of the gmail one. I didn't realize this at the time so when I sent the photo, it sent using my outlook.com account instead of the gmail. I use the outlook.com account more for work related emails, so I don't want personal email messages to go through that account. I've been able to replicate this sending email account switching for this particular recipient both on my iPhone and on my iPad mini.Â
I've run into a similar situation when using Mac Mail on my MacBook - new emails are sent as from my Outlook.com account instead of the default gmail account. However, I've not been able to identify a particular reason for this. In the Mac Mail Preferences, Composing settings, I have selected to send new mail from my gmail account, not the account of the selected mailbox. This seems to be a recent development on both the MacBook and on my iOS devices. Both iOS devices are running version 7.1.2. The MacBook is on OSX 10.9.4.Â
Why would iOS mail change the sending email account based on the recipient, when sending a picture? It doesn't seem to consistently happen when just starting a new mail message from within the mail app. Why would this happen for just some recipients (so far I've just identified one in particular, who is on a comcast.com email account). Why would MacMail on the MacBook send new mail from the outlook.com account when the default is gmail?

When I click on a photo in gallery, it gives me several options, one of which is share via email. When I choose this the email opens and I can send, but the recipient, just get pages of code not the photo. If I create an email I can attach the photo and it sends. I also get this when i try to forward some photos i receive via email, they just receive code.

Sometimes when I text using MMS/iMessage, it takes a minute or so for the sending bar to make the swoosh noise. Kind of weird it takes that long to send a message, and it's not all the time. Is this normal? Any help would be great.
