Lumia :: Can't Install Nokia Reading
Oct 5, 2012I'm at Mexico, i'm using a Lumia 710, and it has been working bad, it rebooted frequently and apps wouldn't load, so I did a hard reset to it. I've been using Nokia Reading to read some books for homework, and since I reseted my phone, it now says that the app isn't supported.

Jan 3, 2013Is it possible to control the button backlights? It would be really nice to be able to turn them off. Ever try to read a Kindle book or watch videos in the dark? The buttons are really bright compared to the screen and they hurt my eyes. I could find any control in the settings. Any chance of adding that feature

Sep 10, 2012I am considering getting the Lumia 610, but I am concerned about how it will receive the 7.8 update, whenever that one comes. Will we be able to simply go to WP Marketplace or Nokia website to get the update? Would be a bummer if the update is linked to a certain carries as I'll be buying it not locked to a carrier / without a contract, I will use my existing pre-paid sim.

Jul 3, 2012Just updated my lumia 800 from 8107 to 8773 and there is still no sign of internet sharing, also the promised camera extras app won't install, just says its not compatible with my device although the play to app works fine.So is there any word when an update will be out to enable tethering also which update do I need to get those camera extras, or are they not compatible with the 800?

Jun 14, 2010I have been given a new N73; it is over a year old (so out of warranty) but has never been out of the box before. There is no Quick Start Guide showing what the buttons are for or where to put the SIM. I have had mobile phones for 15 or so years so am no novice at setting up a new one.
I have charged up the battery to full, but when I insert the SIM (I put it where it looks right although it does not 'click' into position in a positive manner) nothing happens.Is there something that I have missed?

Jan 13, 2010My PC Sync has stopped synchronizing appointments.As far as I am aware I have not changed any settings.I synchronize appointments and contacts between my Nokia 6230i and Outlook 2007 via bluetooth.Contacts still work OK but when trying to synchronize appointments PC Sync just sits there saying "reading appointments" without proceeding.I can open up in Outlook the calendar I am synchronizing with.I have tried creating a new configuration through PC Sync but that does not resolve anything. The calendar I wish to synchronize up with does appear in the list of calendars to select.

I'm no longer able to use apps such as Ovi Maps and I don't have enough memory to update it.I haven't dropped the phone nor have I removed the memory card until after it stopped reading.What can I do? Feb 12, 2010Issue #1: I deleted all of my music on my 5800 and reloaded all new music (about 2 gigs worth), I restarted the phone and then refreshed my library. It added my new music but it did not delete the old music. How can I delete these old files from my library.
Issue #2: Every time I connect my phone in Mass Storage mode and sometimes in PC Suite mode, the Messenger says that it is Unable to Read the memory card and switches my text message saves to the C:, I then have to go back and change my message save location back to E: manually. Is there a way to stop the phone from doing this.
Issue #3: After upgrading my 5800 to v40 my left headphone plays louder than my right. I have tried different headphones and different songs and they all played the same. I am push the plug all the way in. It was working just fine before the upgrade. Is anyone else having this same issue?
These attention to detail issues get annoying when they pop up, Nokia (or Symbian) really needs to fix these issues. Some of these issue carry over from update to update and thats not good business. I would like to stay away from resetting my phone if at all possible...I have done so many resets, I have lost count and quite frankly my phone is setup the way I wont it and do not want to sit and set it up again.

Now after the update the Nokia Mail does not open anymore. When I push the Mail-button on my C3-00 it shows "opening mail" and then NOKIA "Loading Mail", the white screen with the yellow envelope. But then nothing happens anymore. The screen stays this way FOREVER. It does not freeze, I can exit the application YES/or NO.
