i bought a nokia lumia 920 yesterday evening and i am still in the process of discovering the phone. sometime this morning the speakers stopped working completly, there is a similar thread and it calls for a phone restart which i did but still i am not able to hear the audio thru speakers. i tried to stream music, play Internet vidoes, record a video and play it back, put an alarm etc but nothing works.

1... times when I call the sound of tone is sharp and gives a very annoying vibration , whether in normal speaker.
2... the lower speaker depends on the day it works or not even playing the same songs.
Noticed random static and clicking from the rear speakers every now and then?
View 8 Replies View RelatedThe speakers on my Blackberry 8330 appear not to be working. Even if I have the volume type set as loud it will just use vibrate when calls come in. I took out the battery and put it back in and it's still not working. If I try to play a song or ring tone, it will show it playing but I'll hear nothing, however I can still hear people talk during calls. I don't think this is caused by damage, my phone is about 8 months old and I've dropped it a few times (the worst probably from table height) but I wouldn't consider those serious falls.I need to know if this is something i can fix myself or if I have to mail in my phone to get it repaired.

Ok do recently my iPhone speakers haven't been working. They work when you call but when you wanna listen to music it doesn't work. I went to apple and the guy told me the water sensor was activated something like that...he didn't tell me what exactly was wrong with my phone, he told me I could buy a new iPhone for $149. I want to know for anybody who has drop there phone in water what was broken was it the audio jack or the speaker system??? Don't tell my to get to the apple store and ask them for the a new phone ive done it twice and they won't give a new phone because I don't have the apple care warranty. I tried making a phone call to a friend of mine and she couldn't hear me. She said that all she heard was clicking noises. (I talked to her later in person!) I also tried playing music through the external speaker and with the volume on as high as it can go, you can hardly hear the music from the speaker. Weird thing is that I sent a friend of mine a Hey Tell message and he said that he heard me crystal clear!! I set my phone in rice overnight and nothing helped so far. Not sure what else to do!! I don't have a warranty on my phone!

i just bought the phone off of a mate knowing the problems but my g1 tottally died.so the only way i can make a call is threw a headset and also the ringtone speaker doesnt work so have to have my phone out all the time to see if i have a call/text :| when i open the camera i get "could not start the camera, close other applicaions and try oppening the camera again".
the lock and mute keys on top do not work atall and recently the volume key has stopped working. ive tried googling the problems but havent found much information on my problems. could it be the actual speaker. or the plastic midplate with the metal contacts on?im not too bothered about the camera and keys just the speakers soo i dont have to walk around with my phone in my hand with my headset in.
My phone rings but when I answer the call the phone is silent. I cannot hear the person calling and they cannot hear me. The phone working properly and then suddenly stopped. The speaker works for music and the mic works to record. All the alerts for messages still work.

I was wondering if any of you had this issue. I have a LUmia 1520.3 and everything works perfectly, except that if I am listening to music and I get a txt message. If that happens after the message is read and I return to the music the phone starts to play thru the speakers and the headphones.at the same time. There is a significant reduction in the volume thru the headphones but it still plays. I have tried different headphones and the problem persist over the podcast app as well.

Have updated the new software, updated to Nokia Drive 2.0 and done a factory reset - still have the same result sometimes get a fix and then it says GPS lost and counts the time since signal lost. Diagnostic feature does not include a GPS test. Have downloaded many GPS programs, always the same - 1 fix and then no further running fixes to give speed etc

I simply cannot send/recieve MMS picture messages. I've looked at previous threads about using the diagnostics tool for APN settings but in my diagnostics I don't even have APN settings there! My phone is all up to date and I'm totally lost. Three is my network provider if that helps at all.
