Mar 25, 2010I work in education, and we have about 60 Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phones that we use with kids. We don't have SIM cards or any kind of mobile plan with the phones -- we use them just for Internet browsing, videos, photos, etc.
I'm wondering if it's possible to e-mail photos directly from these phones. If so, how would we do this?
(I tried accessing Yahoo! and gmail accounts via the Web browser, but the mobile versions of these sites don't have attachment options. I also tried setting up the gmail account under the phone's messaging options, as is explained here, however it wouldn't let me set up my account because there was no network connection.)

May 28, 2012I cannot have more than one mobile phone item for a person. In India some of them carry dual SIM card phones and both will be valid. In Lumia 800, I dont see an option to add two mobile items. I can do with a work around by choosing one mobile item with Windows Live Account and another with Google Account. But then that is not the right way to do it. If I need it both on same account, then I cannot do it.
This feature is available in all the Android phones. Also i am facing another issue is that Lumia 800 does not sync any mobile item #2 of Google account, so I have to go to Google and manually add that phone number to my phone, which is painful.

When I receive a photo text from someone. the following message keeps saying "Uknown network error" and I cannot view it at all, I have tried to retrieve it, but wont do it. Also I cant send photos, which is rubbish. My phone lets me take photos and they get stored no problem. Please help as i am desperate to get this sorted. I only bought the phone last week. Anyone else had this problem. Also my internet on the phone does not appear to work either. Message came up "failed to connect to internet" but I do have plenty credit on my phone.

I get connection on the Bluetooth prompt at the Lumia and it shows Microsoft wedge mobile - press to connect. And when I press connect I get the screen with the pincode. There is a pincode that I key in at the Wedge keyboard and then press OK at the Lumia, but then I get the message "Unable to connect"

Nov 19, 2012So got the Tmobile 810. Have been using unlocked Nokia phones (Symbian) till now and use JoikuSpot to share internet on as needed basis. Not very often, but good to know it is there when needed.
Now when select Internet Sharing to ON, asks if want to activate that feature in my plan. Is there anyway to bypass this or to get another app to do this .. like JoikuSpot ?

Apr 4, 2012I have a Nokia Lumia 710 and took pictures in the month of March. On April 1st, a new tile started for April 2012, but my photos for March are no where to be found.
Some of the photos that I took in March, I assigned as the photo for contact photos and are still assigned as their photos, so it seems like they might still be in the phone some where, but where they went, I don't know.

Apr 24, 2012I have a Nokia Lumia 710 and when it was connected to my PC (via USB, using Zune) I deleted the already sync'd photos and videos that existed on my PC (in Documents&SettingsAdministrator..) and (unfortunately) the Zune software automatically erased these files from my phone!In order to use a PC undelete software for my phone, the phone needs to appear as a drive letter (ie. G:) on my PC when connected. How can this be accomplished? When I connect it, it doesn't appear as a drive letter (tried it in Windows XP and Vista). I already tried undeleting the files on my PC but the undelete software couldn't do this.
