BB Curve :: Make Calls Or To Check/send Messages?
Jun 23, 2012With all my previous phones I could set it up so that when I wanted to use my phone to make calls or to check/send messages I would have to enter a password. I have tried to no avail to figure out how do this with my curve 8530. Do i need to get an app or is there some other way I can accomplish this.

I had original Nokia in my hand and I compered few things and this phone is little different.
I have a feeling that display has less colours that the other one. It starts with different tone then original one. In the right up corner has got bigger battery sign and when you charge it the lines which indicates charging process moves very quickly. It is not just that I have noticed that quality of camera is not that good. All icons are on the right place but it looks like there is a old soft in it. I have check soft. version V 10.0.021 22-08-09 RM-320 Nokia N95 8GB(12.01)
When I open and take battery off I can see sticker of Nokia. It says Type RM-84 which is different the from the display. Then IMEI - long number

I know that anyone can put a sticker on the phone but I wonder where is information about product code.
I have tried to use number 039650 because it looks the most similar to product code but your web site says:
"...That is not a valid product code. Please check your product code and type it again. For example, most codes begin '05xxxxx'...."
I have tried to paste number with A in front of it as it is on the sticker on the phone and I got following:
"...Sorry, there is no software currently available for that product code via the Nokia Software Update tool...."

Apr 19, 2010I really struggle with the wifi on my N900. When I want to see emails I have to disconnect from the wifi and change to 3G otherwise get an error message. Aug 25, 2011When using check-in you get a list of nearby places to select from. There is a small icon on the upper right corner that seems to be an "add location" feature if your current location is not listed. However that button is always greyed out.
I am using 3.06on and E6 and am logged in properly to maps and have no problems checking in and using existing locations.

Nov 5, 2012I have a Nokia 5800 Xpress Music. I have happily used maps and the check-in process, but about two weeks ago it stopped working. When I try to check in now, the phone appears to be trying to update the places, but then comes up with the error message "There are currently network problems. Please try again later."I have tried removing my Nokia account, rebooting the phone and reinstalling it. This made no difference.I have also tried deleting the "Cities" folder and then reinstalling the maps via Nokia Suite. Again this has made no difference.
