I sent over some songs from my PC to my phone and saved them in Attachments. The problem is that i donīt know how to save them in Music. Every time I want to listen to that song i have to go to Attachments.

View 4 Replies View RelatedCould someone tell me how to save the Playlist's created in the Music Player of a Nokia 5800 to a PC ? Every time I have to format my phone (apparently something goes wrong all the times), lose the playlists n its a headache having to search n add all the songs to a playlist, especially wen there are over 24 hours of music.
I tried Ovi Player but it scans the phone n says tht there are no playlists in the phone whereas I have created about 7 playlists in my music player. My Msic folders would not change in my memory card so saving n restoring these playlist would save me loads of time by not having to create them over n over again.

When I send a file from a phone or computer it goes straight to my inbox and the pictures and videos will save to my gallery but there is no option for me to save songs, yet it will let me set them as a ringtone.

I have a few gigs of music on my iphone (put there, I believe, from itunes on a long-dead computer). I'd like to sync music with my current computer's itunes (so that I can download some voice memos I've recorded), but every time I check the "Sync Music" box, itunes cheerfully offers to erase my entire library, since it isn't present on itunes on this computer. My issue is that Google Play Music seems to save all cached music to the internal memory of the phone, and not the external SD card. Android can see this external SD card fine, and in fact saves any photos to it, so there is an issue with Google Play Music's visitbility of the SD card.
with my HTC Desire S, Google Play Music cached to the external SD card no problem.
How can one capture a small section of a music file and save it as a ring tone?

Has around 365 songs in it now but when i add new ones it doesn't see them.Have tried refresh, trashed the databases etc. Reformated the card and loaded them back bit by bit and that worked and then added 9 new ones - that worked. Played it this morning for a few hours and tried to ad some more. Doesn't see them in the refresh. Card is a Sandisk 4gb - should be good - no bad sectors etc

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have upgraded the firmware from v31.0.101 to v50.0.005 and I had the unpleasent surprise to find that the music player is no longer working. It plays only the files stored in the phone memory and is unable to update the library. It shows music files on the memory card that were deleted longtime ago and refresh library does not change anything: always shows refresh complete 0 files added. When I connect the phone to the PC, the Ovi Player doesn't see the phone and even the device manager shows that there is a problem with the portable device (conneced in PC Suite or Media Transfer modes). Done even a hard reset but nothing has changed except that it has lost the applications it had in the phone memory.
