I have no cursor when entering or editing the subjects of calendar entries. A key has to be pressed to determine where in the field the cursor is. A setting or a faulty phone?
View 5 RepliesSo I have some contacts with outdated phone numbers. When I open up the contact in question and then hit the edit tab I often don't see the number(s) that need to be changed or deleted. Across the top of the screen right under the "save" and "cancel" tabs I see a horizontal list of where this contact has an entry - - Google, Phone, Cloud, WhatsApp. Sometimes the phone numbers I'm looking for are in one of these but there seems to be no way to edit these as the entries are greyed out so they cannot be changed.
FWIW on the main Contacts setting I have it set up to only display Gmail linked entries.
How to get rid of incorrect phone numbers listed in any given contact entry?
After recently updating to 7.1.2, all of my past calendar entries for 22014 disappeared and I cannot add new entries?

Has anybody figured out how to stop the auto entering of words within a text message? I've looked through all the settings, and just can't figure it out. Before the update, I use to be able to just double hit the space bar to make a period. Now, I've noticed that depending on the last word I typed, it will also throw in another word that it "thinks" I'm going to enter.

I installed mail for exchange and I was seeing all my Outlook appointments on the main screen, but then it disappeared. The entries are there, I keep getting the alarms, but to see the entries I have to go into the calendar. But somehow the same calendar file was added multiple times and now I have 5 duplicate calendar entries for each day.Is there a way to delete these calendar entries without deleting my old calendar entries? The .ics file was a fixture list of a club and has a lot of entries so deleting them one entry by entry is not an option.

After upgrading firmware to the last version (V50.0.005) I have lost the possibility of seeing next entries of calendar in homescreen. The only option I've got from now are "Shortcuts" (4 between applications and favourites) and "Contacts bar". I have tried with hard and soft resets, and it's equal. There is a little problem with the alarm too, but not important.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am running Windows XP SP3 with Outlook 2003. When the syncronisation between my phone (6303ci) runs OVI 2.2.0.241 sometimes hangs whilst preparing for calendar sync. After restarting the the PC entries within the Outlook calendar have lost the text within the entry. i.e. the entry itself still exists but any emailed notes within the file, attached files or links disappear in Outlook. This is very frustrating as meeting agenda and other notes are missing.

My last phone was a Curve and I sync'ed my calendar with Google Calendar - not a good idea. I soon discovered that my entries were being deleted (even though they were tagged to stay in the calendar Forever).About a year ago I shifted to the Bold 9790.A good phone, everything is fine, EXCEPT, my calendar entries are still being deleted.Is there any solution for this?I use my calendar religiously to store appointments and am finding my history being deleted. We are using MS Exchange 2003 SP2 and Blackberry Entriprise Server- 4.1 We have checked from online and got many solution, but its not working.
We have checked cdo.dll version and found different version between Exchange and BES. We have copied from Exchange to BES, registerad cdo.dll, then restart BES services, but unfortunately its not working.
The calendar entries are disappearing. I have Keep Forever checked. I generally have between 12-20 MB free app space; right now it's at 19. None of my tasks, emails or SMS/MMS are disappearing, only my calendar entries from previous months.
I use the Storm's calendar as my client scheduling tool -- I NEED to know when I last saw clients for my quarterly and year end reports. I use Nice Office as a CRM and backup -- but when I asked them, they looked into the sync and said the delete was coming from the BB itself, not from them. I do not use Outlook, as I don't run on Windows.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI currently owned a iPhone 3G but just recently purchased a iPhone 4s. I updated my new phone and after checking all of my info was updated onto my new phone. The next day I went to go look up a entry in my calendar and discovered all of my entries before march were not there. I know that they were when I updated my iPhone the night before. So since, I've tried manually entering all my old entries but when I do and get out of my calendar it disappears! This is extremely fustrating and important that I can enter all the old entries.

I've just synched my phone to my PC. When I look at my calendar (outlook) on my PC I can only see some of my calendar entries, not all of them. I've narrowed this problem down to the fact that when I make calendar entries on my phone it offers me the option to send the appointment from my desktop, my work e-mail or my personal e-mail. All entries sent via the desktop are now showing on my PC outlook calendar. However, all entries sent via my work or personal e-mails are not showing on my PC outlook calendar. How can I synch these other e-mail appointments with my PC?

Meeting dates are often based on a repeating cycle such as the first Tuesday of the month or 2nd Wednesday of the year, or last Friday of a quarter. I am not even looking for holidays that may have complicated calculations involved. Since the phone does not have enough memory to handle even what it is shipped with, it is not an option to use a 3rd paryt application so if someone knows how I can make the calendar feature practical to use?From functional stand point I need the repeat capability of at least setting monthly dates that rquire the same day of the week (e.g. 2nd Monday of every month)From the I can deal with it point, I would like to know how to have more control over the reminder alarm, such as a longer prewarning and the ability to not just snooze or sleep an alarm (e.g.Alarm set for 2 weeks prior, alarm sounds so I want the reminder again in several days and when that trips maybe again have it remind me an hour or so before event.

When I sync my blackberry with DM for Mac my Blackberry ends up with multiple entries that are duplicated. I have even tried clicking the erase the info on blackberry box in DM, and it doesn't do it. It makes triple or quadruple entries then. My iCal is perfect though. It doesn't happen every time I sync my BB, just sometimes. does anyone have a solution?
View 14 Replies View RelatedI have seen the previous posts but I don't use outlook. Here is the situation,I have one calendar that I use and sync it with googlesync to my google calendar. I can add an event, save it and it shows on the phone. When gsync refreshes it will send it to the phone, but after about 45 mins to an hour the event is gone from my bb calendar but is still on google calendar.Anybody else having this issue, and please if any suggestions please let me know. here is my specs.

Just joined Blackberry and have a problem : I have not been able to move my calendar entries to a new time and/or date and have not been able to find any tips on this in the user manual. As the software on the cheapest Nokia phones permits this it would be rather odd for Blackberry not to have thought about this. Seems a silly waste of time to re-enter an existing alarm. Can anyone help ?
