I have C6-01 and F-Secure I can't uninstall it from the Application manager, it says "uninstallation failed". get rid of this **bleep**, and note that the hard reset isn't a solution for me.

First problem was that NSU does not support Windows 7 x64 properly in the the sense that it doesnt effin work at all! So, I launch VMWare and I install Windows XP x32 on a virtual machine, but that didnt work too well either. I eventually uninstalled PC suite and Connectivity Driver from my Win7 hoping to make the phone connect to my WinXP virtual machine. It works. I update my phone's firmware. I want to do a recovery of my effin contacts. And the backup file is gone. What kind of software does that? Oh, you want to uninstall PC Suite? Yeah? Well, you will lose all data for that.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI got an used E6. It has F-secure installed, I dont wanna use it and tried to uninstall it but cant. When I try to start the application it just says systemerror. In the appliaction manager I have an entry "Mobile Security" and as I have heard there should be another entry "Security Engine" that also is a part of F-secure. But I dont have that - I guess the old owner removed that and that is causing F-secure not be able to uninstall and not able to start it. Have tried to reninstall the firmware for the phone, made a har reset but nothing helps.

I cannot find any settings that seem to help. I also have frequent browser crashes although most people say that is related to low RAM. Since I have nothing else running in the background I question that conclusion. The biggest problem is the secure site problem.

So the problem is - how can i re-install previously purchased applications in ovi store?I thought it will be easy way, however it doesn't. Despite the fact that all of my previously purchased apps appeared in "My Stuff" section in Ovi Store applications, i cant download it, they only offer me to buy it again, I tried to solve this problem using pc, i wanted to download apps to pc from ovi store website and then move to phone. But all i can do - send a link to phone, and there i was offered to buy app again. It's just shocking omission of Ovi Store, that repels future purchases.

Now when I attempt to remove the Five Column Package, I get an error everytime it tries uninstall. Sub-process/usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) When I restart the springboard it goes into Safe Mode. Do I have to SSH into my IPhone and remove the package? When I go to download Salesforce.com Mobile again, the software doesn't prompt me for my username or password and just hangs. So after some research i saw that if u uninstall mobile substrate and install it again this may fix battery issues. So i uninstalled it through cydia and when i rebooted my device and use blackra1n to start it up (as it is a tethered 3.1.2 jailbreak with new bootrom 3gs) geohots pic comes up for about 45 seconds and then it turns off.
