Jul 21, 2012I just received my Nokia Asha 303 which I have won from a competition, and I was surprised to find out that what everyone on the Internet has been saying was true: NO Nokia maps for Nokia Asha 303 units here in the Philippines.Is this some sort of factory defect, or was it intended to be like this? My colleague and I can think of one good reason why it could be intended, but I won't mention it anymore.I just get irritated by the fact that all the other countries have this functionality, and I am not able to enjoy it simply because I reside in the Philippines. Will there be a software update soon that will address this issue? If not, will there be in the future?

Feb 1, 2011The following applicatoins do not show up on the desktop manager applications list, or in the applications list in the setup options on the phone itself. How can I remove the items from the phone if it is not giving the option to do so? Apps that I did not install to the phone, but are listed in my applications folder (actual folder, not in setup options) on the phone itself.

Apps that I personally installed on the phone and then uninstalled them from the phone itself. They still show on the phone. If I click on the app, it takes me to the install screen & gives me the options "I agree / I do not agree".

Mar 10, 2010I checked my settings on my desktop manager and opened my ipd file-nothing for my contacts or calendar.
What did I do wrong? Is there any chance on earth I get any contacts back?Here are my settings:
Back up all application data
Back up on board device memory
When I did the automatic backup it was saved to my docs.I don't have outlook or anything.

The only icons on the BB desktop are Media, Application Loader, Backup and Restore, Device Switch Wizard, Synchronize and IP Modem. Seems sort of unnecessarily idiosyncratic, but what do I know? I can't find anything on the BB site, where they evidently think email is the most important issue. Probably for some.

Mar 28, 2010I've upgraded to v5.0.1 blackberry desktop manager and now I cannot sync my calendar (outlook 2003) via USB cable. There is no error message - I can sync Address, Tasks, and Memos just fine, but completely ignores my calendar settings. Sync settings are correct to sync everything. I am using a BB 9700, most updated firmware.
I have done numerous google searches and found if I delete the fb service book then it should work - this has worked in the past but for some reason is not working now.I downgraded back to v5.0 blackberry desktop manager but now back to square one - can sync everything just fine, completely ignores my calendar - no error messages.
