Does anybody know why the forward buttom does not work or sometimes randomly work?I've tried with nokia 5800, laptops, sony w395, Motorola Atrix and i can get it to work. I also noticed that the green LED is not lit when I turn. (I did not notice if it works at all?) But most irritating to me that the keys the next song and previous song not working properly.

Is there any way that we can select next and previous song in music player without using touch screen?If not the volume rocker keys can be used for changing tracks? Because it is not that comfortable to use only touch screen ?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've just purchased (1/6/2010) one N97 mini (p.code: 0585089) with latest sw installed (v11.0.045) but I have discovered with my disappointment that it has lots of bugs still unsolved.
list of discovered problems:
Radio FM research: it gets stuck > solution: battery removal
Using FM radio: it gets stuck > battery removal necessary
Bluetooth headphone usage, device has been suddenly disconnected any tempted actions to reconnect the device were unsuccessfull > switch off, switch on the N97mini worked.
Bluetooth headphone volume is low
Playing music: N97 gets stuck > battery removal necessary
I don't understand - for the life of me why Nokia can´t fix the random Nokia Tune ringing tone. I´t s been two firmwares and the bug is still there. It can´t be that much of a problem to fix it!Nokia - get your trousers upp and fix this!
View 8 Replies View RelatedI'm starting this thread to list newly introduced bugs in 21.0.045. I am, uhm, flabbergasted with it. I don't see any real fixes, but I noticed new bugs that didn't exist in v20!
#1: I'm on a concall right now, with speakerphone activated. I hit the Mute button, and the screen has a big handset with the red slash icon, and on the top of the screen right below the carrier name, the message "Muted" is displayed. But, if you unmute the phone, the big icon disappears, but the message "Muted" doesn't go away.
#2: The dialer seems to have a lag now. You press any number "too fast", the display will register the hits, but the audio tones will skip. Not a big deal, but it makes you think you didn't hit one of the buttons, so you either hang up and redial, or you stop and double-look. This didn't occur in v20, so I'm surprised that this exists now.

Mails for exchange didn't work ... same as here /t5/Messaging-Email-Browsing-and/Symbian-Anna-Mail-for-Exchange-not-working-on-Exchange-running/td-p... - there is now reasonable decision! I have Nokia N82 there is no problems with receiving e-mails from my company exchange server.
2. After complete backup of the phone on the memory card it shows System Error Message.
I recently discovered that nokia IM on C5 has bugs & on updating it always shows " no communities available"...even i performed hard reset with *#7370# & updated firmware to v091.002 via pc suite..but the problem exists...
View 1 Replies View RelatedThere is no choice of call forwarding options in the N900. For example one can't forward all calls unconditionally to voicemail or another number and leave your phone on. This is the least expensive option when roaming if you want to leave your phone on, because it doesn't involve paying for two calls when a call is diverted to voicemail.
If you have call forwarding on, you can't stop it from forwarding calls received while busy speaking on another call. I prefer people to get a busy tone.
GSM standard manual forwarding codes (eg *#21#) produce an error message - incorrect number.
I have noticed the following gaps/bugs in Ovi Suite.
1) I download a particular maps using OVI suite. Next time when I connect my device, it does not show the installed maps.
2) There is no way to see if update to downloaded maps are available.
3) Message sync is a bit wierd. Why are there still message on OVI suite that I already deleted on my phone.
4) When I read a message using OVI suite, the indicator light on E72 still flashes.
5) Why is there an option, contact in mobile and contact on OVI, should it be same......................
I have updated my nokia 5800 with the firm 50.0.005, but there are several bugs.For example, when i listen the radio sometimes i can´choose the chanel and the software is impossible to shut down.
I have a "brand new" 701 with 111.020.0307 that won't update to 111.030.0609 because I'm in Italy .
Now I have a really annoying bug: the menu key, sometimes, stops working and won't bring up the menu if pressed briefly, and won't bring up the task list either (when pressed long). Anyone experiencing this bug? The only way I found to make it work again is turn off and on again my phone... And the task list can't be found in menus, AFAIK. I could do that with my old 5800XM...
I bought my phone ONE WEEK ago... I really wouldn't like to format/reinstall already!

For two songs now i have bought on itunes it only plays for 30 seconds, which is annoying becuase im buying the song not just a preview and its a waste of my money. Its starting to get really annoying now and feel i should get refunfed for the songs that its doing it to. Why would i just want 30 seconds of a song...Can you help me in anyway or figure out why its doing that. I know its not a ringtone its the real song.

Most people want to organize music they like. With N8 built-in music player You just can't do that. Music player is designed to auto-organize music for You. It seems to be pretty cool on the beginning but when You have lots of albums and mp3s finding or playing the right music is just difficult.Also when You transfer data from PC and disconnect Your phone while transfer is in progress strange things happens. Music Player remembers albums which are not fully downloaded and from this moment on You have no way of getting rid of them. Forever.Trying to delete them raises an exception saying that 'FILE IS CORRUPTED. OPERATION CANCELED'That causes music library to show ghost empty albums with no mp3's in them.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am using nokia E5-00 and its log has a slight problem, even though I've set the log duration to 30 days but it still doesn't maintain a log of the previous 30 days. The recent calls log only shows the last four or five calls in received calls and dialed numbers and just one or two in missed calls. Does Nokia E5 have a very small log memory or am I only having the problem?

You'll need BBSAK.
1. Connect your BlackBerry, then open BBSAK.
2. Go to the 2nd tab.
3. Click Read system, and find net_rim_bb_sms_compose.cod
4. Delete it.
5. Your device will reboot, after that, install the .cod I will provide you.
6. It will reboot. And it should be fixed.
READ: I figured that sms bugs started from .415+. So I figured this would help, if I got the .cod of .405, which works fine. So try it, and tell me if it does work. Download the .COD here. PLEASE tell me if it works. If it works, GREAT! It worked for me with my SMS bug! Some side effects: MIGHT delete the SMS icon, but you can still send them via the normal message icon!
