Hi everyone, I'd like to set up auto lock for my keys for my Nokia 6680 but seem to have forgotten or never set up my password before. Can someone please tell me the default password when setting up the Autolock period for the Nokia 6680?

I recently purchased the application known as ThreadedSMS because I like to see my text messages threaded as in conversation form. After I installed it, the original messaging application still pops up notifications in addition to ThreadedSMS. Also when I click on a contact and wish to send a text message, it uses the original messaging application instead of Threaded SMS.Is there a way to set the OS's default messaging application to be Threaded SMS so that I don't get double the notifications of incoming text messages, and so when I try to send a text message via contacts it doesnt pull up the original SMS application.Also, does anyone know a more finger friendly Contact Manager application (similar to iPhone )?
View 6 Replies View Relatedi set the default browser as following way: Settings > Application Settings > Default Applications > Browsing Internetin the settings, it is showing default browser as opera,but again while opening web-pages, it still uses Nokia web-browser.it never uses opera.i have also tried using this after switching off and on my Nokia N8.

If my phone is idle more than 15 minutes I also have to enter a lock code to enable my phone. I can not turn this feature off. I get the message "Unable to unlock". I can not change the 15 minute timer either.

If i press ok on "None" , the phone says "Unable to unlock phone", not even asking me for the password. Whats the god damn problem, i am the user, i know my password, why can`t i disable this? I try to refresh, it won't load them, open/close again and again, nothing. I'm using Windows 7, PC Suite 7.1.51.0 and tried via cable and BlueTooth, nothing.If anyone has any tips on how to get it working, that'll be great!

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a problem setting my call barring on the 5310. According to 5310 manual, the default access code for call barring is 12345. The problem is the input field only has 4 spaces for numbers so it fails to activate because I can only enter 1234. BTW, I haven't set any of my own security codes yet. From searching the web I have found people have have this issue with this phone and the access codes. They were given various codes to try, but the matter was not resolved. None of them work. Could someone please tell me what the default access code is for the 5310?
View 6 Replies View RelatedThis is saumya, recently i have purched Nokia 5233 from one of Nokia priority shops. I was using Kingston 4gb micro sd card. Everything was going fine but one day when I tried to transfer my data into system via card reader i fealt hopeless since it was not recognised by my system, no issue but when i inserted this card again in my phone it prompts for a password. I never set a password on this phone or the memory card, ive only had this phone for about 1 weeks.So here i am with a bare new phone, and i lost all my information on my SD card and to make it worse NOW i cant even access it anymore! Under options on my phone i tried deleteing the password, changing it or reformating the card, but before any of those could be done it prompts me for that password and im stuck.

I can only use the wifi if i go to settings>connectivity>wlan. If i go straight to internet, it tries to connect to t-mobile internet. This also happens when trying to use applications such as bbc iplayer and the ovi store.
Is there a way of setting the wifi connection as the default connection? If not, is there a way of setting up my applications so they connect using wifi?
Ok, so I open a video and I'm asked what app I wish to play the video with. I choose, and set to 'always' yet after a couple of days it will ask me again like it's forgotten. This happens with various other files, and is beginning to get annoying.

However, if I open my Yahoo emails on the Blackberry and select 'Compose email' it will automatically send my email from my 'Default email' which is my other email address. I can of course change the 'send from...' setting but I often forget which is annoying when the email has already gone. I have tried all ways to change the 'Default email' setting but I can't find out a way of doing this.

View 1 Replies View RelatedEvery time i change chrome to default browser it does not stick. If i click on a link in email, google+, or twitter i still get prompted to use chrome or internet.
I've searched and searched everyone says same thing but nothing works.
I've checked "always open with" chrome and does not work.
I've went under all apps and tried to clear default for internet but it is grayed out and i can not click it.
Under default applications it does not show browsers so i can't modify there.
Under application manager I've also reset application preferences and this did not let me change the default browser either.
I've downloaded an app called "default app manager" and it allows me to change the browser default but it does not "stick". as soon as i click a link i'm still prompted with an option for browser.
Is it possible to have a default setting for the email in order that when you send an email it always goes to your home computer

I have tried going into advanced options but since i only signed up with one account, only that account is there for me to choose from, what do I do ?

I have searched hi and low so i assume there is no way to set the default DIFFERENTLY for each email account i have (i have three). i know how to set the default for the entire device (options, device settings, advanced, default) but that sets the default for all three of my accounts the same, which forces we to use the pull down to change it. is there no way to have a different default for each account?

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen my calendar reminder pops up it gives me the option to end the reminder or snooze for a preiod of 5 mins. This is far too short so I went to Calendar, Options, General Options and under Actions set the Default Reminder to 15 min and saved the change.When a reminder pops up the snooze time is still 5 minutes despite the change I made. Very annoying!What can be done to set the reminder time to anything other than 5 mins ? Have I changed the wrong field, or is this a bug?

Does anyone know hoe to set the default tone for the delivery report? For message deliveries it plays the same sound as the message tone and is often confusing. Whereas the bluetooth receiver plays a different sound which is universal to all SE delivery report sounds. Could anyone tell me how to set it to the other tone and not the message alert tone?
View 2 Replies View Related I recently bought a new VW GTI. I'm a software engineer and I'm very well versed in my iPhone and it's operation. My car maintains 2 external connections with my phone. My hands free phone requires the use of bluetooth. For my stereo, I perfer the MDI to dock connector for the audio quality. Here is the following problem I experience.
I turn on my stero to the MDI input interface Listen to music, and use Waze to navigate Receive a phone call, which initiates the bluetooth audio out End the phone call
Audio out is now set to bluetooth. It does not return to the MDI output interface, as a result my stero doesn't work.
I've gone digging through all my settings, but I can't find anything relevant to what I want. Basically I want to set my audio device output preference order. My device order would be the following.
MDI Interface
VW Bluetooth
Headphones/Speakers
Is it possible to to this or something similar with my iPhone?
