After i Update firmware my batter is lasts around only 3 to 4 hours i seen any applications , therez application called SecureWizardPreInstaller, but its not openeing and its not closing what it is all baout how to solve my problem?? And also my mobile became dead slow.

My 5800 used to retain battery power for 3-4 days of normal usage until my upgrade to the latest firmware. Firstly the FOTA failed. After restart it popped a "System Error" after"installing..." The Music Player also screwed and used to continously show "Fixing Corrupted Library files..(something like that)". Then i used OVI suite to transfer music and it temporarily fixed the issue. But then i used the USB connection with Nokia Software Updater and reinstalled the firmware. all the problems were fixed. But i observed that the Battery life has now reduced to just about 18 hours!! I am not sure if its indeed the firmware but most likely so. I also did a soft reset without realising that i would lose all the smses and contact data Anway, main issue is batterypower consumption. The Nokia Energy Profiler shows a current consumption of about 170mA. It was same even before the soft reset.

I have a Nokia N8. As there was Symbian Anna on it, I have optimized my battery consumption. It was running at least 2-3 days. Now after upgrading to Anna it lasts only 8 hours. This is really not much.
What can I do? I have no Apps like Skype or WhatsApp running. Also I disabled all autostart apps with SafeManager.

I received a new Blacberry bold 9790 but the battery lasts only about 2 hours. Also the phone gets very hot after about 20 minutes. I returned the phone stating the problem. I received a new phone only to experience the same problem. I again returned the phone and are now awaiting feedback.

And it was all working fine until a couple of days ago.Now the battery only seems to last for about 2.5hours, from being 100% to shutting off because of low battery. I havent got applications running in the background, and have read and followed all of the maximise battery life posts.I used to be able to leave it for a day or more with it being fine.
What can I do to solve this, as it is really inconveniencing my life at the moment, because it just isnt staying on long enough for me to do anything.and its a blackberry curve 8250 and the battery says 'capacity 1150mAh' and C-S2.
1) i charged the battery of my phone over night (meaning in the morning it was fully charged). by 3pm it was already totally empty. i re-charged it till dinner. now at 11:30pm it is again fully empty and i noticed also that the phone and battery are totally hot!
what do i do? this doesn't seem normal. i recently downloaded 2 games onto the phone but i don't think this has necessary somethign to do with it.
2) i have a problem with the trackpad. it moves around the menu normally and sometimes within inside options, but as example inside an sms to move up and down sentences or messages, it doesn't move at all. it doesn't move at all. i try to see if i changed a setting or something but didn't seem to find anything.
So today my Nokia Lumia Icon (Still on 8.0) had the "4 hour bug." This is where the phone gets quite hot and the battery lasts less than 4 hours on idle.
What was interesting to me, though, was after my battery died and I tried charging it, it'd get stuck in a loop.

Doing a Soft Reset fixed it (Volume Down + Power for 15 seconds) but I'm still wondering if there's been anything from Nokia or Microsoft about this issue other than "We are aware of it." It's been 10 months since this issue arrived on older devices, and it seems to be a Nokia-wide issue.
I bought the Motorola Photon 4G in the U.S. but I live in Brazil. In the first 10 days of use it worked perfectly, had battery life of 36 hours with moderate use. After you update it to last OTA, I do not know if it was coincidence, the battery does not last more than 4 hours without any use. Already reset to factory rom, I used several methods to calibrate and the battery remains the same. The screen and battery get very hot when using the photon. I bought new batteries and charger and nothing changed. The interesting is that even disconnected the battery completely discharges within hours. I use the minimum screen brightness, WiFi, GPS, bluetooth and data are off. Right now I have only the factory-installed app, and yet the battery only lasts about 4 hours. The Photon is not sold in Brazil, therefore, have no guarantee nor an authorized service center for Motorola Photon. From what I see must be a hardware problem, does anyone know what might be happening?

After about 3 hours of usage (according to usage statistics in settings), which is just Facebook and web browsing, and 9 total hours of standby, the battery dies. This is mainly over 4G with medium brightness. Background App Refresh is off, most location services are off, Push emails are off, reduce motion is on. I have tried everything I have found online to try and fix this, but nothing has worked. On top of that, my iPhone was just replaced at an Apple Store, so I'm not really sure what it could be.

I've been trying without success to install the new firmware update. I've tried re-installing using the Nokia Software Updater, but kept getting Device Recovery errors and the phone turned off and lost its connection. After reading other posts, I did a soft reset on my phone then re-installed the firmware without anymore However, now the phone WON'T TURN ON AT ALL! When I press and hold the Power On/Off button on the top, it makes a buzzing sound, but the screen stays dark and doesn't turn on. Before you ask, the phone battery was fully charged. My 58000 is totally unusuable. How do I get it to power on?

Have had my experia x10 for almost a year now, and battery tended to last for 2 days (using for calls/ texts/ internet) In the last few days though- I have fully charged my phone overnight, not used it at all during the day, and it has a completely dead battery 6 hours later. I've not got any applications running except for Cardio Trainer, but have always had this running.

However, now, when I open my internet browser it automatically opens full screen which is really not my preference. But when I click "options" it just shuts down.Also when I enter Ovi store now, at first it seems fine but after loading an app page it crashes saying no more than "Something went wrong".

The only option I've got from now are "Shortcuts" (4 between applications and favourites) and "Contacts bar". I have tried with hard and soft resets, and it's equal. There is a little problem with the alarm too, but not important.

After some tests, uninstalling programs, deleting all WLAN Connections etc I found out that this is caused by unwanted WLAN connections to known WLANs. How can i solve this?This happens only at home or in my office (where I use wlan) , there are no applications running and nothing is allowed to sync automatically. But after some minutes when I unlock my 5800, I can see the wlan antenna - but when I want to check the connection, it disappears.I never had battery or WLAn issues, but since upgrading to v50 when i forget to connect it to the charger overnight the battery has drained and is empty.For finding open WLAn and for easy connections I use WeFi since I own my 5800. This never caused me any problem. But I have read through the Support Discussion and some other boards on the web: There are many others that suffer from battery drain after upgrading to Firmware v50.So please check whether this may also be related to unwanted WLAN traffic on your 5800:I stayed a few days in a hotel where there was no WLAN. I tried to upgrade again to Firmware v50 again via PC and cable, not OTA again. The battery lasted for three days as before (but remeber there was no WLAn available!)As soon as I was back home, the 5800 begain to connect again in standby estimated every 10 minutes to my home WLAN. I can see this in the routerīs connected devices. When I unlock the 5800 I see that WLAN is active and connected, a second later, or if I click on the icon, the connection disappears Simply bad, because when I forget my phone charger in the evening to hang on in the morning it is empty.Perhaps these guys have the same problem: /t5/Connectivity/5800-Wifi-Bug/m-p/410781 but I never ever had photo exchange, skype, fringe or else installed. I recently updated my phone 5800 XpressMusic to latest firmware V 50.0.005 (Customer Version 50.0.005.C03.01) but I am unable to see many changes. The only changes that I notice are - kinetic scrolling, change in the way browser displays the page and music library. Are these the only changes? Is there a way to check officially, what all changes, is this new firmware supposed to bring in?

I have been using Nokia handsets for last 5-7 years, because I like the compatibility & reliability of Nokia phones. But this time Nokia has really disappointed me. I have bought Nokia 5800 XpressMusic on 14th-August-2009 of 16000 INR. I have bought it for that particular feature. But i havn't found any TV-Out cable in the box or such feature in the handset. I have also connected TV-Out cable of Nokia N-95 with it, but its not working. I hope, Nokia will sure make a positive solution for that devices, manufactured without this feature in August-2009 & give the relief to all its owners like me, by replacing it with new one having this feature.
