So i cant recieve any texts until i send them,like if i was texting someone and they had texted me back, i would have to send another text until i could recieve it.Is this a problem with my sim or my phone ? I'm with T-Mobile too.

Anyways, I can make calls and receive calls, and have tested this out numerous times. However when I go to send or receive texts, it shows them as sent, but the other person does not get a text, and vice versa. I'm 100% sure that everyone is texting the correct number, and have tried turning the phone on and off.

There are times when I can't make or receive calls or send or receive texts.When I attempt to make a call, it never rings and when I try to end these calls, it doesn't register that the call has ended. People receive these calls but when they answer, there is silence. If people call me, I don't get any notification of this.
When I send texts, the loading bar at the top of the page never reaches the end - the same things happens: people receive the texts but when they reply it never reaches me.I have replaced the phone and it did t make a difference. I am with Vodafone and I'm always in full reception when this happens.When I connect to wifi, the text messages (but not missed calls) come through.

I have an iPhone with sprint, and it has worked more than amazingly prior to this. It wasn't until last night around 12am that this started. I have had the phone for 4 to 5 months now. The bars in the top left are flat and occasionally one will pop up. I can t make calls and texts are slow to or just don't send at all. I was messing around on my download app in the browser and it closed and then thu problem arises. I have deleted the app even turned on and off my phone several times and turned airplane mode on and off several times. Please help:/ this is not an issue with location, and everytime I make calls it just says "calling mobile..."

I was updating my nokia 5800 software to 40.0.005. After update i cant able to receive or reject a call when the device is in unlock mode. In unlock Mode when call is incoming the touch screen don't works. But after unlocking i am able to receive or reject the active call. This problem is not occurred in my phone when the earlier version of the software is installed.

But I cant receive SMS texts, get it now doesn't work, or any of the other Verizon apps. I had an 8100 before buying the Blackberry but the charger plug on the bottom stopped working. I got both of them to connect to BitPim using bluetooth. Is it possible to copy the get it now software from the working phone and transfer it to the non working phone? I'm thinking the software is just corrupted on the new phone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a GalaxyS5 running on 4.4.2 (the latest from my carrier) I've never been able to see emoji in texts. It didn't bother me until recently when it seems everyone has gotten on the emoji bandwagon.
I can send emoji and I can see them and everyone else can see them just fine but when they send them its just jibberish on my end.
I've tried a bunch of different apps with plugins and no dice. I've also scanned the phone through AVG and there's no virus.
I have the iphone 4 but with the 4s update. i can only receive texts that are imessage i cannot recieve it from someone who doesnt have an iphone 4s and its stressing me out cause people think im ignoring them because i dont get their tects and they do not get mine. i only recieve the tects that are blue.

My step-mom and sister that have iPhones can't text me, but my father and other sister who do not have iPhones can send to me. We are all on Verizon. I have had a number of friends with iPhones (likely on Verizon) tell me the same thing - that I don't get their messages. I can text all of them and they can respond to my texts, however if they are originated by the iPhone user on Verizon I will not receive.

There is something seriously wrong with my phone, I can call people and text people but I can't be called or texted except by my operator. I essentially have the worlds most expensive ipod touch, I have reset network settings. It is a 4S not that that makes a difference.

View 1 Replies View Relatedmy blackberry curve is currently receiving sms text messages, but they only show up as an icon at the top of the main menu, i can't actually see them or even open them. i do not have this problem with mms or email. i also can't see texts when i go to the specific 'sms' inbox. i know i'm receiving them because friends have asked why i haven't responded. but it's like they're lost to some black hole in my phone.
things i've tried:i've tried rebooting the phone, at which point i've gotten the "uncaught exception: java.lang.ClassCastException" error. also, my phone is saying "attempting to open a secure server connection but the server's certificate is not trusted." sometimes i can just click close connection and get through to the phone but other times i can't.
i've tried rebooting the phone (taking the battery out), changing my themes settings to default (and using a default blackberry theme) and deleting all messages from my phone. nothing seems to be working -- what can I do to read text messages again?
X10a 2.1 I can't receive txts/mms but I can send them. It was working fine yesterday, but then out of nowhere it stopped working, I've been asking friends from different carriers, emails, etc to send me TXTs and MMS but I still can't receive them, I contacted my Network and they did OTA update, I even did it manually deleting the APN searching for the network etc. but same issue, I can send txts/mms but I can NOT receive them.
