BB Torch :: Can Receive Calls And Texts But Can't Send Texts
Jun 29, 2012I haqve just moved to Tenerife and got a movistar sim. I can receive calls and texts but cant send texts. I have tried to resend the service books but it wont allow me saying "your device had a problem connecting to the server". When i try send a text it says "requested facility not implented". What do I do?

None of them have Blackberry's....just regular cell phones or i phones. Will they be able to get my text pictures from my Blackberry using the MMS text feature? I may be crazy but I could swear when I first got my BB a year or two ago, I was able to send text pictures my SMS texts......No?

Oct 2, 2011I can make calls and send texts but I am unable to receive them. Texts are coming through about 12 hrs later and calls go straight to answer machine. I don't get the notification that I have voicemail. I've reset the phone, taken the battery and sim card out but it still hasn't fixed the problem.

Jun 26, 2011I ve been using BB Torch for about 6 mths now. Got no trouble for the first couple of months, but this past 1-2 months, my family couldn't send any pictures through blackberry messenger anymore. We live quite in different part of countries, and always contact each other by sending photos through BBM. They tried to send from different kinds of Blackberry phone (torch, curve, bold, etc), but it just not working. It said that when they try to send the pictures, my Blackberry replied " ...was unable to save thw file" (either its thw or the). So, now every time we want to send a photo, we will put it in profile pict. It's getting frustrating now!! Anyway, I'm not very good at technology, so I don't know what I should do.

Apr 15, 2012My iPhone 4S has been working on and off for as long as I've had it. There are times when I can't make or receive calls or send or receive texts.When I attempt to make a call, it never rings and when I try to end these calls, it doesn't register that the call has ended. People receive these calls but when they answer, there is silence. If people call me, I don't get any notification of this.
When I send texts, the loading bar at the top of the page never reaches the end - the same things happens: people receive the texts but when they reply it never reaches me.I have replaced the phone and it did t make a difference. I am with Vodafone and I'm always in full reception when this happens.When I connect to wifi, the text messages (but not missed calls) come through.

Jun 18, 2012I have an iPhone with sprint, and it has worked more than amazingly prior to this. It wasn't until last night around 12am that this started. I have had the phone for 4 to 5 months now. The bars in the top left are flat and occasionally one will pop up. I can t make calls and texts are slow to or just don't send at all. I was messing around on my download app in the browser and it closed and then thu problem arises. I have deleted the app even turned on and off my phone several times and turned airplane mode on and off several times. Please help:/ this is not an issue with location, and everytime I make calls it just says "calling mobile..."

May 24, 2011when I make a call it immediately says "call ended/closed" and when I enter *110# I get this message: Connections problems or invalid MMI-code.When I restart my phone, maybe repeting that process like 10 times then I can send/recieve calls/texts, but only for a brief moment.Before it wasn't as bad... I always got the Connection problem message after a I've made a phone call. But now it is bugging me 24/7.I have resetted my phone, I've even upgraded it. Still nothing.I have changed network operator. Still nothing.I have inserted my phone card into another phone and with that phone I have no problems.So I suspect it most be my phone's fault. Jul 6, 2010My Blackberry broke and I didnt have enough money for another one so I bought a LG VX8100 off eBay. But I cant receive SMS texts, get it now doesn't work, or any of the other Verizon apps. I had an 8100 before buying the Blackberry but the charger plug on the bottom stopped working. I got both of them to connect to BitPim using bluetooth. Is it possible to copy the get it now software from the working phone and transfer it to the non working phone? I'm thinking the software is just corrupted on the new phone.

Nov 27, 2014I have a GalaxyS5 running on 4.4.2 (the latest from my carrier) I've never been able to see emoji in texts. It didn't bother me until recently when it seems everyone has gotten on the emoji bandwagon.
I can send emoji and I can see them and everyone else can see them just fine but when they send them its just jibberish on my end.
I've tried a bunch of different apps with plugins and no dice. I've also scanned the phone through AVG and there's no virus.

My step-mom and sister that have iPhones can't text me, but my father and other sister who do not have iPhones can send to me. We are all on Verizon. I have had a number of friends with iPhones (likely on Verizon) tell me the same thing - that I don't get their messages. I can text all of them and they can respond to my texts, however if they are originated by the iPhone user on Verizon I will not receive.

May 30, 2012There is something seriously wrong with my phone, I can call people and text people but I can't be called or texted except by my operator. I essentially have the worlds most expensive ipod touch, I have reset network settings. It is a 4S not that that makes a difference.
