Jun 12, 2010When I start Nokia Map Loader application for dowloading maps on Nokia 5230 I get an error message saying :
The following errors occured while transferring files. If the error is not permanent, you can try starting the file transfers again.
config.cfg file couldn't been found. operation forbidden

Nokia :: Nuron 5230 - Downloading Applications From Ovi Store
Jun 11, 2010I recently got a new Nokia Nuron and I absolutely love it. But when I began browsing through the Ovi Store and decided to try and download some free apps, I get to the downloading screen but that's as far as I can go; the downloading bar never goes past 0%. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? Is it maybe because I have no internet plan? I've tried to make new screen names and looked up online everywhere on this issue but still can't find an answer.

Aug 30, 2011I have nokia 5230 and a serious problem. After about one year of usage, the offline search of street names just did not work any more. I have made a complete software update yesterday. The new navigator said, there were no maps on my phone. When trying to download country maps, at about 40 % the grey downloading indicator at the bottom disappears and green download clock starts turning and turning and turning, nothing happens any more (every time same scenario). I have the newest ovi suite, even uninstalled and reinstalled it yesterday. Naigation was actually the only feature I use frequently.

So, here's the deal, I'm trying to download files from file sharing sites, mostly RAR's, I've tried downloading from MEGAUPLOAD, RAPIDSHARE, WUPLOAD, FILESERVE, FILESONIC. All I get is an HTM file if I just click, If I long click on the "download now" button and "Save Link" all I get is a BIN file. I've tried downloading on the STOCK browser, tried changing the useragent (about:useragent) to desktop. (This I don't think works, it's weird, I've also tried changing the useragent from the debug menu but the option isn't even there). I've tried downloading on the STOCK browser after installation of ASTRO file manager (ticking the allow download all files). I've tried downloading on Dolphin Browser HD (V.6.1.0) with the useragent changed to desktop and I either get a HTM file (sigle click) or a corrupted file (long, save link) I've tried using OPERA Mini (6.1) with the same results as on the STOCK browser.

When I sync none of the movies get transferred to the iphone (3G).I also tried putting the movie into the "Automatically Add to iTunes" folder. I am not able to receive any file via Bluetooth if that file is not openable by Nokia. ie., if I receive a jpg or mp3 file, it receives fine, and when I open it from Messages, it tries to open it, and then I save it from the Message to the Gallery.But when I try to receive some other type of files which is not supported by the mobile, it receives the message, but it fails to open the bluetooth message and as a result, I am not able to save it to the Mass Memory. It says Un supported files.
Say for instance, I am trying to receive a docx (Microsoft Word) file, then I face this problem.Is there any way to save the file directly to any folder in memory without trying to open the received message?Had it been some protected files like .SIS or .SISX then I would agree, but It's bad if I am not able to receive general files.

Jun 10, 2010I'm getting my first iPhone and would like advice on protecting the front screen. I have an iPod Touch 2nd gen and even with babying the thing it has a scratch. It is just a tiny one but it is noticeable because the light shines through that spot differently. I really have babied it, keeping it in a case, not putting it in my pocket with other things, etc. I would be extremely upset if the same thing were to happen to my iPhone.
Have the materials improved enough with the iPhone 4 not to have to worry about scratches? If I need to buy a protective film, which one? I really love the smooth feel of the glass on my Touch, is there a protective film that preserves that feel?

The sticky says to remove it but on mine there's a hole in the centre right over the middle of the lens, a few mm in diameter. I assumed it was there was there for protection so have left it in place especially in view of the hole over the centre of the lens. So is it still obscuring something or can I leave it there?
