Motorola Zumocast :: Unable To Download Zumcoast On Pc
Dec 8, 2011
I have downloaded Zumocast on my Atrix2 but I cant download it on my computer. Every time I try and download it it goes to the very last second and then says download interrupted.
I just recently purchased the droid binoc and i have started using the zumocast with my phone and macbook pro.
I am able to stream photos, videos and music but I am unable to download any file to my phone and when I do my phone confirms file has been downloaded the file says failed and when I tried to retry it stops after a few seconds and says failed again.
I have also tried this with videos and music and it had the same result.
I'm still unable to download any files from my computer to my phone at this time.
I've tried several times to download the app to my computer and keep getting the following message:
"zumocast-windows-1.41.exe has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
I have Zumocast loaded on both my phone and computer. On my phone it shows all my files and I can see all my music. When I click on a song it will bring up the screen to play it and then it goes right away. Everytime I try to download a song to my phone it fails.
I was wondering if there was a way to change the default download folder for ZumoCast on the phone. I have a droid bionic and whenever I download a file to my phones memory, it stores it in the zumocast folder on my internal mempory. I'd like to be able to store it on the external sd card. Is there any way to change this?
I have a large music library and it seems that I can't access all of it from the Music tab on the zumocast app (phone and desktop). If I go to files, I see and can play all of the songs, but not from the music tab. It's annying because it's easier to navigate via the Music tab (albums, artists, etc.)
I have Mac Osx 10.5.8 and i downloaded it, installed it and did the initial settings but then it crashed and everytime I try to open it, after about 3 seconds. i restarted by computer, reinstalled it twice, i have no idea whats wrong! it works fine on my droid 3, just not my mac.
I have a Black Armour Net Drive attached directly to my home router. Is there a way to get ZumoCast to access that drive without having to go through my home computer?
I am able to access the internet, but I cannot download anything from the market... If I connect via a wifi connection, then I can download. My old smart phone HTC HERO, was able to download from anywhere, not connected to a hot spot or wifi... I buy a phone that is supposed to be faster and better, but I'm not seeing it. I have only had the phone for 3 days, and i'm already starting to think I have made a bad decision. We do not have 4G in the area, but even 3G is faster then this phone.
I am unable to download, view or save zip attachments. I cannot do it in gmail or the stock email app using a pop account. There is no view, preview, download, or save button. There is only an "info" button in both the gmail and stock email apps. When I select "Info" it says this file cannot be downloaded or saved.
I have tried several different file managers including ES, Astro, AndroZip and All Downloads but still get the same result. All other attachments work fine
I'm unable to download maps to my Motoactv device. When I click on a particular map on the maps screen, all I get is garbled data (presumably raw image files?). This seems to be the case for any map I select. I've tried right-clicking and saving the map files, however it saves them as *.htm files, which is presumably the wrong format for the device.I'm using IE9 on Windows 7 64-bit.
Attempted to download Pandora. The Downloading bar is running constantly. When I click the "x" to stop the download, I get a message: "The application Market (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." How can I stop this and how can I remove the orange diamond with an exclamation mark from appearing in my Status bar?
I have installed ZumoCast on my Vista PC and have been able to access it from my Droid 3. How do I add other PC's to my server list??? I have looked all through the FAQ and can not find any instructions.
I keep getting the message, " The latest zumocast desktop client does not work with your iOS ZumoCast applicayion at this time. Please continue to check back for updates" what do I do?
hen I click on Zumocast icon, it says the app is not installed. Where can I download it for the Bionic? The only device I see that supports it on Motorola site is the Droid 3
I installed the windows verson, it installed and loaded just fine. but when I open it I see the icon in the icon try for like 5 seconds then its gone. I have installed the lastest java, disabled antivirus, unistalled, restarted computer and reinstalled. Still has not worked.
My phone is a Moto Droid 3.I turn on ZC, but after a while it just turns off. By itself.I've turned the screensaver OFF, the energy saver OFF, and hit the ZC setting "Never go to sleep." My computer does NOT go to sleep, and yet, ZC still closes, by itself. If it helps, I have an iMac.This is preventing me from actually being able to use ZC.
xoom: i have been unable to download apps from the market at all. they continue to download endlessly and never actually install. especially flash player.
This is a truly bizarre problem. Over the past few days, I am unable to download free apps. I touch the screen to install a free app, but the "accept and download" button does nothing when I touch it. However, I am able to purchase apps without any problem. My wife is having the same issue with her phone. Neither of us have installed any new apps lately, and I have tried an external hard reset with no success. This is incredibly annoying.
I am unable to download a rented video. I'm being told that I cant because it thinks I am rooted. I am not and have never been rooted, and Didnt have this problem before the latest soak test.
I've had great success opening pdf, Word, wav, m4a, Powerpoint, and videos using Zumocast on my Bionic. But every time that I try to open a jpg file, I simply get the twirling blue icon. I've let it "do it's thing" for as much as 15 min with no success.Zumocast is on a Windows Vista PC.
I bought my Bionic about 3 weeks ago and have had some issues with it. That is a whole other topic, we wont get into that. I am now having issues with Zumo Cast. I got it installed and set up no issues. Occasionally it will show offline but a exit and restart of the program seemed to to the trick. Well tonight I converted several types of formats for a video to see which was best on the screen and mirrored to the TV.It will play a video but if i stop it or try to change files it says it cannot connect server error. The icon on my computer, which is running Windows 7 64bit, shows its status as streaming. Even after closing the app, stoping the app in task manager, and signing out. Still shows streaming and stays that way until I exit the software. Restart everything and its fine until I try and change from one file to another and the same thing happens. If I am away from the house I cant very well close the PC program everytime I want to watch a different video. I have uninstalled the software on the computer and the app on the phone with the same issues.
I have a Bionic and am running Windows XP- I was getting a runtime error but re-installed Java and Zumocast on my PC and it works great for about 5 minutes and then times out? If I go back to my PC and re-load Zumocast the icon on my desktop taskbar comes back and it will work for again a few minutes before disconnecting?
I am having a problem with your ZumoCast. I can download it no problem but it cannot connect to the interent. Now I must be connect to the internet, I just downloaded your program.
I have windows VISTA. I have turned my Av off, Firewall off and even the windows defender off. Your program downloads fast just will not connect to internet. I am using Cable ethernet plugged into my tower. I have a brand new Bionic and I would like to show off my daughters choral group singing.
Problem turned out to be Webroot. Had to find list of blocked programs and unblock Zumocast. add/delete program list of their AV and "add" zumocast. worked for me!
I have installed the windows version of zumocast onto my pc running windows 7. It loaded onto my pc, but when i try to open it from my pc, it does nothing. Nothing pops up and nothing starts. I have tried to uninstall it and re-installed it and it did the same thing.
I have a droid bionic. I have recently had problems with ZumoCast app (i.e. not connecting). I uninstalled the app and re-installed it. Now, I'm getting a message that says "Unsupported Device - This device is currently not supported. check for updates at [URL]"
I just bought my Bionic Saturday and ive been trying to get Zumocast to work on my phone since I got it. I keep getting the server is offline. Ive done everything the support page said to do, and made sure my firewalls and everything were not blocking it. This was basically the majority of the reason why I got the Bionic.
