I bought my Xoom WiFi in May and was blown away by how smooth and snappy the performance was, especially for a device this "mature" in its development cycle. It has been a few months and lag has gotten pretty bad. It is configured pretty much the same way it was at the beginning, with a few additional apps, but essentially the same.
Is there something I can do to restore the original performance, without wiping/factory reset?
i recently got my phone updated to 2.2.2. and m gettin real bad lags. i even got an app called memory booster and it says in every 10-15min my ram usage become close to 80%. insipte of closing the apps they seem to keep running. any way i can reduce or even stop these lags?

It went from 3G or 4G then to no connection, then to all bars and no indication of 3G or 4G, then finally the 3G or 4G showed up and all was good. My "old" Razr Maxx never had this lag.

When I get to the last few, it will get very choppy, freeze, pause, and sometimes a popup will come up asking to force close or wait. I can slow scroll through the last 40 contacts, but it is very choppy/laggy.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Admiral freezes/lags when dialing/redialing and the Touchscreen is unresponsive. Its really bad on missed calls. I can hit the green dial icon 20 times in a row and nothing happens. Finally wait for about 30-60 seconds and it will dial.
I routinely reboot. Not running alot of apps. Latest firmware. I've also noticed the browser is slow to render webpages no matter how fast the connection is.
So I had music on my xoom but accidently deleted it. I tried going in my computer files to copy and paste songs from my itunes into my folder on xoom called music but says wrong format. I don't know what to do.

The browsing speed is very very slow and most sites dont open.The signal strength shown in xoom is - (-105 dBm 3 asu).Is this a issue with Android 3.2 update or my home wifi is weak? Would i be able to reset the tab to the original version?

View 5 Replies View RelatedWell I've been generally happy with my Storm, despite it lagging at every turn but I think I fried it today.
I was in the middle of receiving txt msgs and pins and trying to get the screen to switch from landscape to regular portrait and I got the little clock. This time it never went away, I pulled the battery and when it tried to boot back up, it would give a small message that I couldn't read because at that point the screen goes dark... and then it would try to reboot. I think it just overworked itself to death.
So I can't connect to my computer, I can't do anything with it. I 'technically' have water damage because since the phone was dropped in a bit of snow a few weeks back (but water never got into the phone, the phone worked fine!)... the water damage indicator is (all too conveniently) located right next to the edge of the battery cover.
I've only had this phone for a few months and the battery life is awful, 10 texts later and it's almost dead, one quick phone call same thing. the screen goes dark not long after last communication, I've tried deleting removing apps. This is really odd at least in my opinion I basically only answer a few texts a day and maybe 2 or 3 bbm or nothing at all. wi fi is off.

I have an iphone 4 using OS 7.1.2(11D257) I have an icloud account that I do not understand, and I backup my contacts and calendar and a few other things. Somehow the info on my calendar for past months disappeared. The only thing that remains is a standing appointment each week on a specific day and time. Why did this info disappear? Can I retrieve it?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm not sure if this is common, but my n97 is running software version 20.2.019. I bought just recently and it was working fine for the first 2 months. Then i started having problems, like the usual resets and lags.
Lately my phone has been resetting more, my music is constantly corrupted, when i do play a podcast or a song it the audio will stop playing but the progress bar says the song is still going. I have also been having issues where when i restart my phone it doesn't recognize mass memory and all my media (photos, music) are gone. Backgrounds back to the original and all my apps on mass memory are gone. I check file manager and I it says memory in use. I also recieve Disk write error, retry or lose data message everytime i'm trying to download something into mass memory.
I don't really know what's going on with my phone, i've done the resets soft and hard and even reformatted my mass memory. I still get all these issues. It sees mass memory after a soft reset but then i turn off the phone and it doesn't detect it again. Is this normal with s60 v5? Or does my phone need to go back to nokia care?
