I own a new OTG cable and I'm trying to test it with a pendrive and with a Sony DSC-W200 camera, but both fail. USB storage doesn't appears on Motorola XOOM. Does USB Host mode works with Android 3.1
View 2 RepliesI have a XOOM FE and am using Motoprint Host Service in an attempt to print to my Brother MFC-490CW. I'm running Vista 64bit on my PC, and the Host Service is running. However, Motoprint on my Xoom FE can't see my PC host. Is there something I need to configure on my PC? My PC is connected to my wireless router via wi-fi and my printer is USB cabled to the PC. As FYI, I can see my PC's shared folders from my laptop and can also see my Brother printer via the "Find Printer" function in Motoprint (but of course can't connect to it directly as it's not compatible with Motoprint). I can also print to the Brother printer via Brother's Android wi-fi app, but Motoprint can print more document types, so I'd really like to get it to work.

View 4 Replies View RelatedIve always had my wifi on that way when i enter a saved network or att hotspot it switches to wifi and i save on data useage. Well, sometime after the gingerbread update my wifi stopped working correctly. It would be on and show the wifi symbol but when two saved network locations, it would "connect" to the network but no data was being sent or recieved. I even tried it on an att hotspot and no luck. The wifi turns on fine and says it is connected but it hasno signal as indicated by the grayed out wifi signal bar. Now i read something that said to put the phone in airplane mode and thenturn wifi on and it should work fine, well i did that and it works as long as i stay in airplane mode. I dont see this as a fix but instead as only more evidence to an apparent problem. What good is wifi on a phone if i can only use it when the phone can no longer work as a phone.

MS finally released a working Android app which syncs with Skydrive and gives you full edit ability of OneNote content. I could not find it on the market but it is available here: [URL]
If that link gets cutout, go to the android market under a web browser and search for onenote. So far, it's working on the Xoom LTE without any issues.
Has anyone else received an OTA to Android 4.1.2 for their Xoom Wifi only? I got the update on Friday but did not receive an invite to a soak test so I believe that this update was an update to all US Xoom WiFi tablets.
