Nov 15, 2011

My phone sometimes dies when it reach lower the 40% of charger most of the times wen it gets under 20%. I use battery indicator. Probably a way to fix this that is annoying and sometimes scary to know that ur phone might dies when you less expect it. I believe my battery is in good health but i dont know if its the phone, or the battery.

Motorola Droid Bionic :: Battery Will Not Charge After Installing ICS - Stays At 5 Percent

Oct 23, 2012

I finished installing ICS 3 hours ago. The problem was that my battery died during the time it was updating media database. Now, the battery will not charge. It says at 5%. If I am using my phone at all (i.e. just making folders) it heats up and dies/turns off. I've tried 2 different batteries and 2 different chargers with the same results. Also- 3 hours later and I still have no contacts and many apps no longer work (google voice).

Motorola Droid XYBOARD 10.1 :: Won't Charge - Battery Level Rarely Go Above 30 Percent

Aug 9, 2012

I've got a wifi only Xyboard 10.1 that has in the last couple of weeks developed the won't charge issue. I've read through the forums and some say it's the battery. It seems to be a micro usb port issue in my case at least. I can prop the cord just so and get a charging indication but it never seems to charge in actuality, rarely going above 30%.

Motorola Triumph :: Triumph Battery Not Charging?

Jan 15, 2012

Is there anyone out there that can help with this? I have only had my phone for about 40 days (10 days past Radio Shack's return policy, unfortunately), and beginning 3 or 4 days ago my phone stopped consistently charging. I would put it on the charger and it would look like it is working for a few minutes, then simply stop charging. I have tried 3 different chargers with the same results-- one with a USB connection to my computer, one in my car, and one plugged into a wall.I already exchanged this Triumph once because of serious software glitches including a keyboard that wouldn't always type. I am starting to feel like perhaps this isn't the phone for me, but it feels terrible to feel like I have been cheated $300 for a phone that doesn't want to work.

Motorola Triumph :: Purchasing Accessories For Triumph

Sep 19, 2011

Besides us waiting for some sign of a software update to address the issues with our Motoroloa Triumph, does anyone else find it curious how difficult it is to find the accessories for the Triumph? I mean, it's impossible to find something by going to the Motorola Store for the phone. However, if you circumnavigate the site and search on all Android Phones, and find the one phone for Virgin Mobile (by carrier), then find the teeny tiny link for Accessories, one does determine there is a BT headset and also a car charger. But wait, the car charger isn't even available yet.

It's not good commentary that there isn't Motorola badged batteries and car chargers and earbuds, Micro HDMI to HDMI cables, USB charging cables available for the product from Motorola, when clearly, this stuff is available on eBay. And I've recently purchased a very good OEM Motorola Charger and USB charging cables... so the question becomes, where is Motorola's support for the phone? I propose someone feedback to Motorola that besides waiting for needed SW updates, we could use a little product support in the way of accessories.

BB Bold :: Suddenly Dies At 50% Charge?

Jan 21, 2012

I have a BB Bold 9780. It is one year old. Recently it started suddenly dying, saying the battery is drained, when it hits 50% battery charge indication. It gives one low battery warning beep and the battery level indicator goes to red before it shuts down. I bought a new battery, but I have the same problem. I have a friend with the same phone and he said he has the same problem. I'm not sure, but I think the problem started after I did the last firmware update. I am running 6.0 bundle 1879 (v6.0.0.448, platform 6.5.0.136).

BB Bold :: 9650 Dies And Will Only Re-boot On Car Charge?

Feb 24, 2012

My Bold 9650 died and would not respond to anything. Thinking the battery had drained I plugged it into the A/C charger, but nothing - no red light, no response. I then plugged it into the car charger and about 15 minutes later it started to re-boot.After an hour on the car charger it read full charge and I thought all was good. However, after 3 phone calls it went dead again. Thinking it was the battery, I replaced it with a new one - nothing. Took the old battery and plugged it into another 9650 and it booted up with 100% battery. I'm now thinking it's something in the phone, but don't understand why it works on the car charger and nothing else. I did find that if I charge it on the car charger, and then attached to either A/C or USB I can get it to last longer, but as soon as I unplug it I've got about an hour or one phone call before it's dead again.

HTC Sensation XE :: Battery Will Not Charge To 100 Percent Overnight

Sep 7, 2012

Basically I charge my phone with the mains charger, everything looks fine, the orange light comes on and the battery symbol in the corner shows that it is charging. I leave it charging overnight, so it's usually plugged in for a good 7 hours, however, when I wake up the next morning the phone isn't fully charged, at best I am on 50% and at worst the battery symbol is yellow.

I've been upgraded to ICS quite a while and have not installed any new apps recently so I am a bit stumped as to what the issue is. I thought maybe it was the battery, but I have since bought a new battery and I get the same issue with this also. A factory reset has also not sorted the issue.

It is flat battery now, I tried the soft reset with power button and volume, phone vibrates 3 times but still its like a cycle. The red light flash, after a while the phone starts by itself, it shows the sony and xperia logo, then battery low and go off. After a while it does the same and keeps repeating it no matter how many hours it have been charging.

Xperia Ray :: Battery Refuses To Charge When Drained To 0 Percent

May 3, 2012

I bought an Xperia Ray from Telus in mid-January this year. It was working fine until now. Today, the battery drained to 0%; it's done this before and I haven't had any prior issues with recharging. Now, when I try to charge, it won't do so. My computer won't recognize it ("USB device not recognized"), PC Companion doesn't recognize a phone, and it won't charge in any outlits in my house.

When plugged in, the phone flashes red and reboots itself constantly, making it past the start-up screen onto the main screen. It stays there for about 10 seconds loading my settings; however, I can't unlock the screen, the battery icon is red and not charging, and it goes from recognizing Telus to not recognizing a network or a SIM Card. I didn't download any updates manually recently. I tried removing the battery for a bit and then putting it back in.

I've tried removing and putting back the SIM Card. Nothing works. Randomly, the LED will be orange, and pressing the Power button shows the battery charging symbol; however, turning the phone on shows that the battery is STILL at 0% even after being on the charger for three hours. I didn't drop it, expose it to water, or do anything that may damage the phone. I'm on Windows 7 Home Premium 64x, if that means anything; also tried rebooting, but my laptop refuses to recognize the phone in any port.

Xperia X10 :: Dies And Wont Boot Up Repair Works For Short Time Then Dies Again?

Dec 14, 2011

my X10 died on me and I assumed it was the battery so recharged it and when I tried to switch it on I just get the SonyEricsson across the screen and nothing more. I cannot even turn it off again. I connected to PC and although the PC did not recognise it I managed to run a repair on it and got it working again and as far as I can tell it has the latest software. I then reconfigured it and loaded the few Apps I use (DME, Birthday Calendar, TV droid, Notes etc - not a huge App user). It all worked fine for about 2 weeks and then died again. I am about to take it to a service centre but thought I might ask if this could be a known software fault ? I dont want to run another repair on it before knowing really what the problem is (by taking it to service centre I am hoping they can get some idea of the problem before re-installing the software.

Motorola Triumph :: Can't Get A Simple Confirmation

Nov 2, 2011

I have been following this community since I bought my Triumph 2+ months ago. I am generally happy with the phone, although I am annoyed by the intermittent lack of responsiveness from the touchscreen and the GPS issues. I cannot believe that there are actually Motorola and VM employees who are saying that they are not aware of any issues with the phone - and they say this in the context of forums like this that are FULL of people reporting issues with the phone. I am extremely disappointed with both companies for refusing to either acknowledge that they are working on a fix (or Gingerbread upgrade) or announce that there will be no fix/upgrade. Matt, the Forums Manager, posted the following on the Droid Bionic forum yesterday:

"I know everyone is eager for updated software. We have been working diligently on a software update for DROID BIONIC and have a version in the testing stage; we expect to deliver it to users in 30 to 60 days. The update is targeting issues identified through owner feedback and we're confident it will improve device performance."

Why can't we get an answer one way or the other as to whether there will be a fix or an upgrade for the Triumph? I think a lot of us would be happy with a simple acknowledgement that it is coming, even if the timeframe is still unknown. If it has been decided that there will be no fix or upgrade, then we would like to know that. Triumph users are entitled to the same treatment as the Droid Bionic users, and we have been waiting longer.

Motorola :: Triumph Usb Not Being Recognized By Laptop

Unfortunately, I'm enrolled in a contract with tmobile that'll last another year before I can switch over so I'l have to wait before switching over to virgin mobile's plan. So the plan is to use my prior phone for 'phone stuff' and the triumph as a temporary ipod touch. So I spent a few hours experimenting with the wi-fi and it worked fine. Motorola Atrix 4G :: Data Connection Dies After Using WiFi?

Jun 11, 2011

Other issues have been my phone will get stuck only being able to upload (and not download the resulting pages/data) as well as the symbol disappearing completelyafter a little bit of research I found this may be a problem with 2.2.2 froyo and for my sake I hope it is, but I was just curious to make sure it is fixed in future updates.

Motorola Droid 4 :: Hotspot Dies When Hopping Towers?

Oct 2, 2012

I have a strange issue that I've never seen before, nor can I find examples of it here in the forum. I use the hotspot feature on my DROID 4 LTE quite a bit. Unfortunately, it's not very useful when I'm on the road or on a train. Whenever the phone hops to a new tower, the data stream dies. The wifi portion of the hotspot stays active -- it's just that all data stops flowing. I spoke with VZW Level 2 and they had me pull the SIM so they could do a "network reset". Took it out for a test drive and no go. As soon as I drive far enough to hop to a new tower, all data stops flowing through the hotspot.
