Motorola Triumph :: Playing Videos On PC And Temp File Icons?
Aug 14, 2011
1) I have recorded a couple of videos with my phone, They have sound when played on the phone but when transferred to my computer the sound is suddenly not there anymore. What has gone awry?
2) While the Triumph has way more memorythan my OV had I am finding myself hovering around the 30% point on the actual phone memory. When I imported my pic and video files to my computer from the phone tons of non-pictures (attachments, logos from sports teams who pages I might have opened once, twitter and facebook logos, logos from various apps, attachments from emails etc) showed up in the photo file on the computer. Could this be what is causing some of the issues? I am cleaning the cache quite regularly and 84% available on the SD card still (and it is still the one that came with the phone). And if it is part of the cause how do I get it to quit saving all of these things? I also can't seem to find where they are on the phone right now (tried using the Android Assist file manager).
After yesterday's update, skype video calling now works on the triumph. It does not show in the supported devices list, but I have tested it and was able to videoconference.
I just got my droid bionic today and wanted to check out zumocast as it seemed like a decent app. I own a pretty large divx video collection that I have stored on a USB external HDD. Zumocast will not allow me to play any of these videos. It constantly says that I need to install an AC3 codec on my computer. I have tried installing both CCCP and K-Lite codec packs on my PC to no avail. Also an AC3 filter as a standalone codec, but it all didn't help. I really would love to be able to play these videos. Any of you have any idea what I can try and do to make this work?
Is there anyone out there that can help with this? I have only had my phone for about 40 days (10 days past Radio Shack's return policy, unfortunately), and beginning 3 or 4 days ago my phone stopped consistently charging. I would put it on the charger and it would look like it is working for a few minutes, then simply stop charging. I have tried 3 different chargers with the same results-- one with a USB connection to my computer, one in my car, and one plugged into a wall.I already exchanged this Triumph once because of serious software glitches including a keyboard that wouldn't always type. I am starting to feel like perhaps this isn't the phone for me, but it feels terrible to feel like I have been cheated $300 for a phone that doesn't want to work.
Besides us waiting for some sign of a software update to address the issues with our Motoroloa Triumph, does anyone else find it curious how difficult it is to find the accessories for the Triumph? I mean, it's impossible to find something by going to the Motorola Store for the phone. However, if you circumnavigate the site and search on all Android Phones, and find the one phone for Virgin Mobile (by carrier), then find the teeny tiny link for Accessories, one does determine there is a BT headset and also a car charger. But wait, the car charger isn't even available yet.
It's not good commentary that there isn't Motorola badged batteries and car chargers and earbuds, Micro HDMI to HDMI cables, USB charging cables available for the product from Motorola, when clearly, this stuff is available on eBay. And I've recently purchased a very good OEM Motorola Charger and USB charging cables... so the question becomes, where is Motorola's support for the phone? I propose someone feedback to Motorola that besides waiting for needed SW updates, we could use a little product support in the way of accessories.
Although my WMV formatted Videos play fine on my home computer, I had no problem transferring them to my Bionic SD Card. Rather than playing, a small blue box opens at the bottom, which says "unable to open this type of file". Confirmed that the pre-installed Player should play MP4 and WMV. I tell them about my error message, and they recommend downloading the VLC Media Player (which works great on all files on my home computer, even on AVI and FLV files). Still won't play, so they refer me to Motorola, but before I call them, I also download, the seemingly popular MoboPlayer and MX Video Player.
The Motorola second level of support tells me to convert them from WMV to WMV, although my experience with Motorola's Tech support is that I sense that due to our mother tongues, it might be my fault for not parsing my words carefully enough. Feel free to contribute your WMV (or MP4 experience) to this thread, as the last advice that the Motorola Level 2 Tech Support gave me was to go to "setting", then "privacy" and then "restore data reset".
The temperature display in my notification bar updates only sporadically. I noticed some discussion of this in the past, but no answers. I'd like to know either how to make it update more frequently or turn it off!

I shuffle my songs, however, during the shuffle, a music video will play.Â
I have check iTunes and the music video was unchecked. Checked my iPhone 4s (iOS 7.1.1) and it shows the the videos aren't on the phone, but have the iCloud download symbol next to them.Â
I have even deleted them from iTunes and switched off "Show All Music", under Music in Settings and "Show All Videos" under Video in Settings.Â
However, they videos are still being played in the shuffle.Â

When I updated my z3 to lollipop I found a problem in youtube app it's become not playing videos anymore. I tried to delete the cash but nothing happened even I tried to reinstall it again but not solved.
Finally I thought maybe the Google play service it's old or not compatible or something like that but nothing change even with latest update from Google play service.
For notice I do format to my phone before I install the new update to Android lollipop.
The videos recorded by the cell phone doesn't run properly when transfered to the PC. I get black image and no sound, but the progression bar of the player shows that the video is running. It's not an issue in the codecs in my computer since I run any video file in it with no problems, including MP4 which is the same video file used by the phonI already installed all the updates available for it.
Is there any reason why some videos on YouTube come up with this phrase. This is my wife's YouTube channel and some of her videos work and some do not. She's a Zumba instructor and all her videos have music to them and in the subject. I know YouTube is strict now on music being posted for copyright purposes. But the same video works on my wife's Windows phone and my daughters iPhone. Not sure if it's my phone. But other videos play from my wife too on my phone with no problems . Just some do not..
i have nokia x2-01,when i play any video or even song, its shows "not enough memory"although my memory card and phone memory both has enough memory,i have restored my phone as well as its memory card
When I first got the phone it was on gingerbread 2.3.3 - now ive updated the firmware to 2.3.5 I can no longer play videos on the BBC website...[URL]When I click on play the red 'loading' circle goes round and round and round...nothing loads.I have flash 11 installed, tried resetting the browser to default.
Suddenly today my iPhone don't play any kind of video and after I try, becomes slower, can this be a virus? what can I do? I did not drop my phone or something like that .. That could damage it, so what could be??
For a couple of weeks, my videos have not been playing properly. The videos I have recorded on my iPhone and snapchat videos are sort of pausing and not playing smoothly. The sound for the videos isn't paused at all just the actual video. My youtube videos play perfect without any interruptions. I tried researching what the problem could be to make the videos in my album do this but haven't had any luck. I have tried restarting my phone, closing all background apps, and still not sure what to try.Â
I have an 16GB iPhone 4s running IOS 7.1.2. There is about 1Gb of space free on it
Who uses a Nokia x3-02. Videos that they take play back OK on the phone, but play back very dark when downloaded onto a computer. Several computers and media players have been tested with the same result. The file format is .3gp.
I have had m S6 for nearly 2 months now and any videos I watch be it on the Internet or videos I have recorded go into slow motion with the sound going at normal speed.
