Motorola Razr :: XT910 - Save Contacts Not Showing In Contact?
May 19, 2012when I tried to save new contact on my XT910, it's not showing in Contact and then I realise (maybe it's a misbelief) that new contact will appear in my contact list only when I do sync with GoogleContact.How can I change this way, because I want to save new contacts straight to my phone memory without any Sync's.

Sep 23, 2012However, recently, when I switched on my phone, it switched to Webtop mode, even though it wasn't connected to my dock nor to any HDMI cable. This happens every time I switch my phone on, and has been happening for a week now. The only workaround I've been able to find is to go to the Display menu, check and uncheck the "Enable HDMI cable detection". It works perfectly fine after that.

Jan 25, 2012I am facing a very frustrating problem. Sometimes when I create/edit a contact and hit save, then search for that contact in my contacts I can't find it!! Or sometimes I can find it but with all the contact information deleted.I am using Verizon Backup assitant to manage my contacts. I wonder if anyone else have the same problem. That problem is not only frustrating, but also embarassing, especially when you are entering a new friend's contact while showing off your phone

Jun 27, 2012I was doing a bit of texting on my RAZR, when the screen hung, i waited for 5 minutes before doing a Power button + Volume Down key, which rebooted the phone.
Now the Phone wont power on. The battery is fully charged & i have tried the vol down + Power button combo.

Aug 1, 2012The ICS update was pushed to my xt910 today. Froze during the install when it said starting apps. Had to hold all three buttons and reset it. Was laggy when i turned it on. Now my music or my gallery wont open. Just opens the background of the app and then freezes. Phone also wont make a sound when it rings it just vibrate. When i try to set a ringtone it just freeze my device. My files works strangely enough but you cant open anything.

Dec 4, 2011I just bought a new RAZR XT910 and I'm starting to get a really uneasy feeling that I'm not going to be able to sync it with my Outlook calendaring and scheduling like I used to do with my old Nokia E63.
I was working under the assumption that there would be hundreds of apps on the new Android phones that would be able to do simple things like this? so far I haven't really found anything?
I found Motorola PC Suite 5.1 but I haven't downloaded and tried it yet ... has anyone used this software or can anyone advise some other application that will sync Calendering, scheduling, contacts etc with Outlook and with Lotus Notes?
I need to sync outlook for work , but I'd also like to sync with Lotus Notes at home if possible (far superior to Outlook)
By the way, synchronising with google or having a gmail account is NOT an option, I do not trust these people and besides, I don't need another email account, I already have one at work and one at home.

There seems to be no option to allow it to save it to the Google calendar (or move it afterwards), other than not saving it on the phone but waiting until I have access to my (non-Moto) Android tablet which doesn't have a local calendar, just the Google calendar.

You can have the it dim the screen, but not go off, if you tell it not to timeout the screen in workout, and then do a walking workout. However, when I touch the watch by mistake, it goes to my timepiece setup screen. Locking it at any screen would solve this. Also, having a dim mode to save the battery for watch use would be nice.

My issue is that Google Play Music seems to save all cached music to the internal memory of the phone, and not the external SD card. Android can see this external SD card fine, and in fact saves any photos to it, so there is an issue with Google Play Music's visitbility of the SD card.
with my HTC Desire S, Google Play Music cached to the external SD card no problem.
