i have a few issues with it so far wondering if anybody else has them and if fixes will be provided before roll out here we go: Universal Inbox, where is it i used it all the time and it seams to have been dropped bring it back please, wireless and Network connection this in ICS is about as reliable as a 2 legged table, battery life sucks (and im on low brightness) Good work motorola but can you fix your bugs and missing items.
Just got my phone yesterday but there appears to be no support for video Skype. Does anyone know if this is to force you to use Google Talk or will Skype eventually be working with RAZR.
Does the RAZR hardware support USB host mode? Will it function under Gingerbread? Will it function under ICS? I know the Galaxy S2 support this. I expect the Galaxy Nexus will. I want the RAZR and I hope it also supports this, at least under ICS.
Please note a couple of minor bugs.1) Date displayn the options of the MotoACTV device you can set the date display format to the ISO unambiguous yyyy/mm/dd format, which is what I prefer. On the motoactv web app Under Display Preferences/Data Format, there is only dd/MM/yyyy and MM/dd/yyyy. Please provide the more sane unabiguous yyyy/mm/dd format so this can be consistent.) Display Units My Display Units are set to Metric. However on the MotoACTV web app when I select Workouts/Latest Workout/Workout Stats, the distance and pacing are recorded in km, but the elevation shows in ft. I am not sure at this point if it is the 'ft' label is wrong, or the actual numeric display and/or conversion is wrong, but you guys I'm sure can figure this out. You can verify this here:
I would like to report a bug with regards to saving/making a route public.I go into Planning, then Routing, and I have several routes saved from previous workouts. As per below, I click on the "Public Route" check box, and then Save. I just get booted to a generic screen/map with the "Create New Route" button.Regardless of whether I click on save or not, if I reselect the route on the left, then it the "Public Route" check box is cleared again. In addition on the screenshot below, why does it say "2525 Hemlock St, Vancouver, BC V6H, Canada | 0.06 km". This route was clearly 25k. Strange/weird thing also is if i click on "Edit Route", (Hey anthing's worth a try....) and then Save, it actually turns my route (ie destroys my route) into .06 km. This is exactly what happened to the bottom route on the left list; it used to be 25k until I 'saved' it. Oh well, at least I can go into my recent workouts and resave the route and try again!
I have WiFi enabled. Often when I am near a wireless access point, my RAZR M still uses 4G. It's as if the WiFi is going to sleep when I power the screen off, but it doesn't wake up again. Turning WiFi off and on makes it reconnect. It seems to happen mostly when I'm at home, where I also use the Motorola flip stand with "ESP" smart charger, and a NetGear dual-band wireless router/access point.
Brand new Car Dock and Razr. Installed and all good working no problems for first 2 days, then when I dock the RAZR it does not change to the car navigation screen or start to charge.Power light on the power cable. RAZR charges and transfers data via other cables.
The Verizon Sales assistant assured me that I'd be able to Sync my Outlook with my Droid Razr as easily as I synced it with my old Blackberry Tour. Now, after several days' worth of set-up, google searches, forum searches and FAQ's, I'm come to the conclusion that Motorola did NOT build this function into the Droid Razr, and I have to pay a hefty fee for a decent 3rd-party app to do what my Blackberry did for free. Have I missed something?
I frequently hit adjacent keys while texting on my old Droid X. A larger screen and of course 4G and a faster processor were appealing as well. As the Razr HD models sport screens almost as large as the S3 I ran to see them on their first day out of the gates. What a disappointment! Holding my old Droid X up against them I saw that the usable screen sizes were identical. Namely 4.3" unless playing videos in which case the video filled up the Razr HD's 4.7" screen. I couldn't find anything else that would fill up the screen. Perhaps, photos might. But internet browsing, texting and whatever else I tried occupied a 4.3" inset within the 4.7" screen. So why have a 4.7" screen at all? The Galaxy S3 on the other hand fills up the entire 4.8" screen with not only video but everything else, including texting, messaging, web browsing, and everything else I tried. So what gives? Why did you even create a 4.7" screen if you aren't going to utilize it to its full potential?
I thought ICS was suppose to extend battery life? My MAXX wont last very long lately since the ICS, And its suppose to have a very long battery life, what happened?
On Oct 20, we switched from AT&T to Verizon Wireless after being with AT&T for over 10 years. We had iPhones and had to get new phones when we switched. The Verizon salesperson convinced me and my adult daughter to get the RAZR HD that had just come out and he said it was better than the iPhone. My husband stayed with an iPhone because he is a commercial pilot and needed to use aviation apps that were not available on a DROID phone. Initially we were very impressed with the RAZR HD until my daughter had a problem with hers after just 20 days of use. She is an EMT and was on duty sitting in her ambulance. She has to have a phone on her while working. She used her phone several times and had it in her front pocket. She took the phone out of her pocket to call us and the screen was black and not functioning—a few minutes before it was working fine. She noticed some spider cracks in the LCD at the edge of the screen. She took the phone back to the store where it was purchased and the Verizon salesperson accused her of abusing/dropping it and said she would have to file an insurance claim which would cost $99. I was shocked. Our iPhones had heavy mobile use and were even dropped several times, including on cement, but never failed. I told our daughter we had no intention of filing an insurance claim for a defective product that should be covered under warranty. For all we know, it had damage before we even bought it from Verizon. But when she contacted Motorola, they said a screen failure due to a cracked screen was not covered but she could send it in to be evaluated. When we read the warranty, it does not say this. It says it doesn't cover damage caused by accidents, abuse, misuse, including improper usage or operation, abuse or neglect, or impact damage, such as dropping the phone. The phone had not been dropped, abused, or misused. There is not a scratch or any physical damage on the phone and the glass. The phone failed under normal use. The LCD screen under the glass fractured. Normal use should not cause this unless there was a manufacturer's defect in the phone. I.contacted my dad who works with digital and analog wireless technologies/hardware, and he told us to file a warranty claim. He said the phone has an accelerometer in it that detects G-force and impact and Motorola should provide us the data that shows the phone was impacted outside the tolerance thresholds for normal use. Well clearly Motorola and Verizon are just scamming customers and ripping them off. How convenient for Motorola to automatically tell a client all screen failures are due to customer damage. We should have stuck with iPhones and the AppleCare. Apple stands behind the quality of their products and would have never questioned replacing a phone for a defective LCD, i.e., no broken glass, just screen failure. You get a replacement on the spot. Oh but not Motorola—mail it in and then you are without a phone for how long??? We are going on 24 days now. Motorola got the phone and sent a picture of the phone screen (included) and said it was physically damaged—said it would cost $99 to fix—interesting how that is the same amount as the Verizon insurance deductible. Really--they are insulting my intelligence... I called them up and told them to provide me the accelerometer data—I wanted proof the phone was damaged by us and not defective. They still have the phone and have not responded to my request for over a week now. I told customer service that Motorola should be ready for a fight—we will file a report with the FTC and the BBB if they don't repair or replace the phone at no cost. I am very angry about this poor customer service. If we dropped the phone and cracked it up, well that is what insurance is for and that is why we bought the insurance. I would not expect Motorola to fix a phone for free if we broke it, but this is not the case and it is just outrageous. I am worried the same thing will soon happen to my RAZR HD which has overheated while it was charging. The phone is so thin that any expansion in the case is going to put pressure on the LCD. I am wondering how we are going to make it through a 2-year contract with Verizon when the Motorola phone can't even handle normal mobile use. I used my AT&T iPhone 3Gs for over 3 years before switching to Verizon and the RAZR HD and the iPhone still works well as a Smart device for email, photos and music. Clearly Apple has a superior product and also knows how to take care of customers. We called Motorola customer service again today since we aren't seeing any information online regarding the current status of our phone, and they couldn't even tell us what the status is. They have had the phone for over 2 weeks. If Motorola doesn't do what is right, they will lose us as customers. This is so frustrating.
I was facing problems similar to this ( Gallery crash after OTA ICS update )url..I followed the thread and did a factory reset.I now find that the problem is solved but the UI after factory reset is different from the original UI that came with ICS update. I kinda like previous UI. I am guessing it is Motoblur. Is there any way to get that back.

I don't understand - for the life of me why Nokia can´t fix the random Nokia Tune ringing tone. I´t s been two firmwares and the bug is still there. It can´t be that much of a problem to fix it!Nokia - get your trousers upp and fix this!
You'll need BBSAK. 1. Connect your BlackBerry, then open BBSAK. 2. Go to the 2nd tab. 3. Click Read system, and find net_rim_bb_sms_compose.cod 4. Delete it. 5. Your device will reboot, after that, install the .cod I will provide you. 6. It will reboot. And it should be fixed. READ: I figured that sms bugs started from .415+. So I figured this would help, if I got the .cod of .405, which works fine. So try it, and tell me if it does work. Download the .COD here. PLEASE tell me if it works. If it works, GREAT! It worked for me with my SMS bug! Some side effects: MIGHT delete the SMS icon, but you can still send them via the normal message icon!
I'm starting this thread to list newly introduced bugs in 21.0.045. I am, uhm, flabbergasted with it. I don't see any real fixes, but I noticed new bugs that didn't exist in v20! #1: I'm on a concall right now, with speakerphone activated. I hit the Mute button, and the screen has a big handset with the red slash icon, and on the top of the screen right below the carrier name, the message "Muted" is displayed. But, if you unmute the phone, the big icon disappears, but the message "Muted" doesn't go away. #2: The dialer seems to have a lag now. You press any number "too fast", the display will register the hits, but the audio tones will skip. Not a big deal, but it makes you think you didn't hit one of the buttons, so you either hang up and redial, or you stop and double-look. This didn't occur in v20, so I'm surprised that this exists now.
After 3 times to get updates ics, why xperia ray still has bugs? Are employees who monitor this forum do not deliver what the user is complaining on this forum to the Sony developers? Or did the Sony developers do not listen to them?
I'm using a Xperia Ray and since I've updated to ICS 4.0.4 there are issues I'm facing: Random rebootsPhone crash and go back to home screen when I use auto-rotateCamera lag when I turn night mode on (like I'm running a 2012 3D game on a Pentium 3 with 256Mb RAM)No option to turn off or even change the shutter sound. Is there any solutions for these please? I'm pretty annoyed by all those bugs and seriously thought about reinstalling my beloved 2.3.4
I'm sort of new here. How do I report possible bugs to Apple? I've had some problems lately, some of which I've been able to fix my rebooting my iPhone.
1. The iPhone controls on my earbuds (Klipsch Image S4i) wouldn't pause my Pandora music. Instead, it would switch to playing my iTunes. It had been working fine for months. I fixed this by closing all of the running apps and rebooting the phone.
2. The shuffle feature doesn't seem to be working properly anymore. It only shuffles once. I have a playlist of 21 songs. If I shuffle it, it will shuffle the songs, but if I play the list through again, it plays in the same order instead of shuffling again.
3. I'm having various battery draining issues. Once in a while, it seems to mysteriously drain my battery faster than it should. Rebooting seems to fix it. In some cases, it seems like maybe the battery level is just being reported incorrectly.

I have installed Belle yesterday on my E6. I loved the interface very much but some of the options of 'Anna' were missing here quiet to my disappointment. First of all the easy multitask viewing option of my Anna interface was missing here. Whenever I started a new program, the previous one was hard to find, even in the notification bar. I have to go again to the previous program through menu search.Secondly by D-pad is not working as it should be. Only the right and left is working, its not going up and down. I have to screen touch all the time on my E6 Maybe Belle was designed exclusively for all touch screen phones. E6 and E7 being an exception. I have to get the feedback from E7 users, if they are facing the same problem.

i have nokia 701 from a few days. I found some bugs 1. Mails for exchange didn't work ... same as here /t5/Messaging-Email-Browsing-and/Symbian-Anna-Mail-for-Exchange-not-working-on-Exchange-running/td-p... - there is now reasonable decision! I have Nokia N82 there is no problems with receiving e-mails from my company exchange server.
2. After complete backup of the phone on the memory card it shows System Error Message.
I recently discovered that nokia IM on C5 has bugs & on updating it always shows " no communities available"...even i performed hard reset with *#7370# & updated firmware to v091.002 via pc suite..but the problem exists...
There is no choice of call forwarding options in the N900. For example one can't forward all calls unconditionally to voicemail or another number and leave your phone on. This is the least expensive option when roaming if you want to leave your phone on, because it doesn't involve paying for two calls when a call is diverted to voicemail. If you have call forwarding on, you can't stop it from forwarding calls received while busy speaking on another call. I prefer people to get a busy tone. GSM standard manual forwarding codes (eg *#21#) produce an error message - incorrect number.
