I install the update Adobe Flash Player 11 by the app Play Store. After reboot, the Play Store shows there is update Flash Player 11 again. So this cycle continues.
View 7 Repliesis there anything i can do to improve flash video playback? after the 2.2 update i was excited to be able to use flash on my phone, but video playback on it seems so bad that it's unwatchable.it's like a slideshow at best, and at worse i'm only getting one frame every thirty seconds or so. oddly enough the sound never skips or stutters at all.i've tried it over wifi and 3g. Internet videos in the native app and other non-flash streaming media seem to work perfectly.i'm using the stock browser with flash player 10.2.157.51 (the latest one available in the android market), and i've tried several different videos linked from m.flash.com

It says that: "Package file was not signed correctly"
How come, if it's the official one from Adobe?
If i am "slow" or the phone (i've read the complaints of other owners, and really frightens me)
1) I placed an order for the Milestone only (no contract, $509) using an id that was registered in BC, then put a "shipping address" in for Ontario. This was Feb 18th, just for the phone.
2) after nothing showing up on my credit card, I picked a very common name, separated by a dot, @telus.com, and logged in. Sure 'nuff, it was a real account, and after putting the Milestone AND the media dock in my cart, I confirmed that the province was "Ontario", so I put the order through.
3) My credit card was charged for the amount of the first order, late in the day on the 20th, for an order placed on the 18th.
4) On Monday the 22nd, the charge for the first order was reversed, and the charge for the second order was shown on my online credit card statement.
4) On Wed the 24th, the second order was reversed.
So I'm wondering what reason they would have to cancel both the orders, and wondering I'm now "flagged" or something and now ineligible for teamwebstore discounts.Or maybe it's just that they're not fulfilling orders that don't include a plan?
Whenever I play a flash video and make it fullscreen it stutters. It's fine if I zoom the browser so that the video covers the entire screen.I tried both Dolphin HD 6.1.0 and the stock browser using flashplayer 10.3.186.3. And I'm on Gingerbread 2.3.4

1. when i updated my motorola cliq to eclair android 2.1 i could not turn off safe search filtering because that option was grayed out so i logged into my Internet account but it's still grayed out!
2. the video player on the cliq cant watch certain non flash videos because i thinks the video has high resolution but i think that when that happens the cliq should be able to reduce the resolution to its supported resolution.
3. for some videos on Internet i cant turn on high quality because of the error message. sorry the video could not be played.
4. the cliq now runs android 2.1 update1 but as soon as i go in the market i click apps then i scroll down to live wallpapers but as soon as i download and install and then open the live wallpaper it says sorry but your device currently does not support live wallpapers but you can get suppor via upgrade so motorola needs to work on getting live wallpaper support for the motorola cliq with motoblur.
5. the google earth app is missing from the android market on the cliq that needs to be fixed.
6. and i don't like the fact that i have to go to my task manager when i want to close my browser there should be an exit button with in the browser so that i can close it manually. i'm not saying to get rid of the task manager i'm just asking for more manual convenient ways to exit apps.
7. and it needs adobe flash player 10.1 support i don't want it to be preinstalled i just want it to be supported also needs the latest javascript preinstalled.

Does anyone have any ideas about why Moto might have decided to kill Flash on our phones before it was necessary? It's not an ICS thing, because my GNex still has Flash and it works well. I know that Adobe will not be allowing new downloads from the Play Store starting on 8/15 (but they will still be providing bug fixes for those who already have it) & that Flash Player is not supported in Jelly Bean, but what gives with Moto killing Flash in our ICS update? Now, whenever I visit a page that has an embedded Flash video in the browser, it crashes the browser. :(
Addl. details: Basically, when you upgrade, the Adobe Flash Player app gets uninstalled from your phone. If you reinstall it from the Play Store, it won't work for embedded videos on websites. Unfortunately, many websites still use Flash for their embedded videos. :( Hopefully websites will start switching over to HTML5. This isn't just a bug.. there is an actual process running on the phone called FlashRemoval that Moto slapped in there. I expect to get Jelly Bean ASAP, since Moto prepared the phone for not having Flash so early. ;)

I updated my Milestone which is UAE version to Froyo yesterday after a long delay, was really excited all evening until i discovered two problems with my wifi.The Device does not connect to the corporate network as my office uses 802.1x EAP and there is no place to enter proxy where as my friends using samsung galaxy s (Froyo 2.2) connect to the network and browse using the wifi advanced settings to enter the proxy in their device.

But after some minute It restart with a blank screen then reboot to OS and MSU says update failed. View 2 Replies View RelatedHave a brand new install of Windows 7 64bit and a 6 month old Milestone 2 which has always succesfully connected to PC/Mac in USB mass storage mode, but when trying to connect to new Windows & PC the PC tries to install MTP drivers that fail.Solution is to select the failed device in device manager and manually install the driver selecting the device as a USB mass storage device and not the default MTP device.

I tried it on several videos one of which I uploaded from my phone and my wife could play it fine with her Thunderbolt and was quick to say it was because her phone was better than mine.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter the Market was replaced with "Play" I had replaced the home screen icon with the new one, and it had been working fine for days. But this morning the icon on the desktop was no longer connected to the new Play Store.Or anything else.
I couldn't get it to fire up from the app drawer either, so I took a look at the application manager in Settings. One of the uptions was "uninstall updates" so I figured if I did that it would go back to the original Market and then I could let everything update from there.
That appears to have been a mistake. I got an error that said it was unable to uninstall the updates, but now the app manager shows the Play Store has a 0KB size, and it still doesn't launch.
Just got the update for the new Play Store that replaced the Andriod Market and now the shortcut at the top of the app launcher is no longer working.

I have already gone to the media storage folder and put a .nomedia file in the Whats App audio folder, and cleaned my cache. This fixes my problem temporarily but as new audio messages arrive, they start appearing on my music playlist again.
It is annoying to be listening to my audio files when on shuffle.
