Motorola Electrify :: It Just Stopped Ringing
Dec 6, 2011I have an electrify and it just stopped ringing. The volume is on and on high, it is not in silent, I have tried removing the battery with no change.

Motorola Electrify :: Automatically Stops Ringing?
Apr 7, 2012My Electrify automatically stops ringing. It is set to always vibrate, however it is supposed to ring as well. I will restart my phone and it will ring normally, I put it down on the table for a little bit and it starts vibrating only. I have checked the settings and all of the volume (ringer, media and notfications) are all on the loudest settings. I have tried changing the vibrate settings to all of the different options but if it is set to never vibrate the volume still does not work and I will never know if I have a call or message. The problem occurs with all of the notfication tones. I use the prestored tones for everything except a 3 of my contacts have their own ringtone.

Sep 7, 2012I'm probably going to have to take this in to the local US Cellular store to see if they can figure out what is going on. I tried sending texts to three different individuals this morning and all are not going through. Initially I was using Go SMS Pro as my default SMS program. Thinking something may be messed up with that program, I switched my default SMS program to the phone's Text Messaging program. Still cannot send or receive any messages. I am on a business plan (which my wife is on as well). She is receiving and sending texts fine. I tried sending her a test text, and it tells me "Message Not Sent". I had her send a test text to me. It shows that it sends fine on her end, but I never get anything.
Is there any error log I can look at to see what's going on? I have powered my phone off and on 3 times already this morning and that hasn't fixed the issue. Any suggestions or am I just going to have to take it in? I hate doing that because they're just going to do a Factory Reset I'm sure since they aren't too good on the technical side of things.

Feb 4, 2012I can delete individual emails from my inbox. However, when I go to Trash folder there is no method to delete the Trash contents. Searching the manual gives zero information. Searching online has not been much more productive. The methods I've seen in independent forums don't work for me.

I check my google calendar which is syncing fine and see all of my past appointements, however they are gone from the phone. Jan 22, 2012Iam a Uscc agent and I have a customer with the electrify and their phone is dying within a couple of hours and only sending a couple of text messages and making one phone call I have given a battery swap and checked the phone for any bad apps but there were no additional applications installed and settings do not seem out of place and compared it to mine that I have abd everything matches and mine lasts me an entire day of heavy use. I am just wondering if there is anything else that could be draining the battery or a way to fix it?

Nov 17, 2011Testing the multi touch functionality of my phone, to my dismay, shows acknowledgement of two points of contact. Needless to say, the piano app that I use.( for jotting down quick ideas, I am a music director at my church and a songwriter) is nearly unusable because piano often uses more than two fingers. I know that the hacking community has been able to enable up to 8 points if multitouch. Is this going to be enabled for this phone? I would hate to get rid of it since I love everything else about it, and have no problems at all with any functionality. ( aside from that whole pesky multitouch thing).

Dec 8, 2014I have an iPhone 4 with OS 7.1.2Â Â Â It is about 3 years old and has been working well, until recently.
Now it will not ring my Phone or my Messages or my Errands unless I have the home page open.
This is bad, because I miss my calls, messages and appointments this way.Â
I don't know if the following has anything to do with it:Â I also have a defective Home button.
It works occasionally, so I usually use the top button on the device to turn it on and a soft button to get to the home page from anywhere.

Jun 15, 2012This afternoon my speaker on my phone stopped working. I can not hear it ringing when someone call, but if I see someone calling and I answer the call they can hear me and I can hear them fine. I also can't not put the caller on speaker at all , I also can't hear my music or gaming apps. When I turn my phone on or off it does not make a sound as well. I have turned the phone off and turned it off by pressing the top button and home button at the same time and that did not work. I checked the volume and the mute button and the volume is up all the way.

Jun 4, 2012M Droid 2 will not ring. I think it is because I erased all the standard ringtones and the default attached ringtone for each contact was the default ringtone at the time I deleted them. So i have now added new ring tones and set a default ringtone in my settings. Whenever I receive a call, it does not ring.
