VZW Support Twitter response: There are updates in the testing phase by VZW and others Motorola is still investigating. A patch should be released soon.

May 5, 2010so i got tired of staring at my co-workers Iphones and decided to try out the Droid Incredible. i ordered it today and FedEx tracking says it will be here tomorrow. im going to play around with it for the 30 days and hopefully by the end of it i will have made a decision between it and the 9650. (also hopefully i will have a choice to trade it in for a 9650)i love my curve and will probably come back to a berry at some point but for the next 30 days i will have a droid. anyone else taking this path? anything i should test on it? what features do you think i will be missing on this phone that i should look for?

Feb 13, 2016I am trying to test BETA Marshamllow on mine S6 but when flashing everyting and then flash Marshmallow Bootloader i stuck on Powered by Android and keeps rebooting.
The steps are:
1. Copy the file named "G920F_3ZPA1_M(6.0.1)_Flashable.zip" to the device SD card.
2. Flash TWRP and Bootloader (5.1.1).tar in ODIN
3. Boot to recovery
4. Flash the (6.0.1) Flashable ZIP in recovery
5. Flash Bootloader (6.0.2) in ODIN
Galaxy S6 :: After Update 5.1.1 Data Signal And Testing Very Slow?
Aug 27, 2015So i updated a few days ago to 5.1.1 Sprint service! A couple differences/ problems are: #1 Seems to me my data signal isnt good. It shows the LTE signal but when im surfing the next or even on ebay seems to just have the searching circle. then maybe a min or so later it will go. Ill surf again and data will just stop. It seems the data isn't communicating with the phone intermittently
#2 My text sending is way way slow now. Before update it would send pretty much within second of me hitting send. Now it displays the sending for a good 30 seconds! Sometimes even longer.
I have restarted multiple times/ update PRL/ Updated profile multiple times.

May be Nokia'a developers can share it with them? + it has some information for NokiaFirst of all Windows Phone 7.5 - very good OS, after Sony Ericsson Java Platform 8. But I found few "problems". Hope they are will be fixed in future versions of WP7.X or WP8.x.missing time of the nearest reminder on the lock screen. Not from calendar, but from Alarms;sms compose in horisontal mode has backspace-button near the send-button. Very danger combination in list of call history require one of icons: missed, call to my phone, call from my phone (in C510 it was perfect);some of titles OS output with very large font, but some with very small font. Large font is excellent, but small font is too small. Missing some option to increase small font. Some of your business users in ages and do not have perfect vision for such small font. + When small font with blue color, even I can't read it on the sun;Market / category list has language of my account region, but have to be of my OS UI;missing time on top of screen in browser and games. When I read something in browser or "kill the time" in games, I need to keep track of time;missing "Mobile 2" in contacts.
In our country some people has 2-3 mobile phones...power key is always under thumb when I talk with someone (Lumia 800). Very bad place for it. I think ideal place is on top border (for left hand and right hand people);My previous phone (SE C510) has very good battery safe feature: if you press on any volume button while it in sleep mode, the phone little lighted display with time and few icons (missed call, calendar alarm) if require. In result we do not take many energy for get current time and look, did we missed something
IPhone :: Testing 4 ATT Carrier Unlock With Custom Config File?
May 7, 2012I just had my iPhone 4 unlocked by ATT, but how do I test that it is unlocked? The Apple knowledge base article [URL] says that once the iPhone has been unlocked I should get a message in iTunes saying: "Unlock Complete. Congratulations, your iPhone has been unlocked. To set up and sync this iPhone, click Continue."
I did not get that message, but neither did I get an error message. Since ATT's (possible) unlock I have updated the software to 5.1.1, and done a complete backup and restore. I bought the iPhone used from a friend several months ago, and then created a custom config / profile with Apple iPhone Configuration Utility. This allowed me to use the phone as a Pay As You Go phone on ATT's network, and has worked this way with no problems for the last six months. The phone has not been jailbroken, or unlocked with a third party unlocking tool.
In the next few weeks I will be traveling to the UK where I want to be able to use a local number, but want to make sure that this will work before I travel. How do I test ATT's unlock without a Tmobile micro sim that I dont have?

Feb 19, 2010My wife accidently going through her contacts went to the very top where there's a drop down menu for Phone or Contacts. It went to Contacts. Now whenever she goes to her contacts a message pops up saying Sign In or Sign Up to OVI. She's been on the phone now with Nokia for 2 hours trying to resolve.Anyone out there have any ideas?
And by the way, are other brands of phones this bad, what with setting up loops like this can't be broken. Or, like what I've read here and elsewhere, all the problems with the Lock Code? I mean, it seems Nokia needs to go back to the drawing board and work on their user interface.

Oct 7, 2011just today i did a factory restore to my phone running the 2.3.4 software and after reboot, where i had to give my motoblur data, i first set up wifi, than put in my account and password and did log in, it took unusually long ont eh progress bar and once it came al msot to the end it said there are issues signing into motoblur and i should retry, tried that twice to no avail, the only option i had was to turn off the phone, once i turned it on it already skipped to the location consent, with allegedly being logged into my account, but it wont load my settings from motoblur (ie the launcher setup or the speed dials in the dialer). I havent tried with a different account, since i wanted to get my settings back?

Jul 22, 2011Does Motorola intentionally make their new products inferior at release?I've been using a Droid and a Droid 2 for about 18 months.I shoot a lot of pictures outdoors, some macro, lots of nature and concerts.I also shoot indoors under challenging conditions (concert lighting.) They have both prtovided a passable point-and-shoot camera.The Droid 3 camera is dissapointing in that several important features have vanished:
-There is auto white balance, only a manual and difficult-to-use control.
-The user can no longer set ISO
-The user can no longer set EV
-Focus is iffy under a variety of conditions
-Photos have a bluish cast under most conditions, with and without flash
So instead of getting pretty good shots with a convenient camera, I'm getting washed-out, bluish garbage.(Issues with the video vs. Droid 2 also, in a separate post.)I want to know if Motorola intends to make the experience of this camera catch up with the spec soon, or if i should return my phone while I can still get something else from Verizon.

May 28, 2011Just received the GB 2.3.3 update on my Droid X and all I can say is WOW!does it ever change the look of the phone. Still getting used to the changes but one thing I've noticed is that when you click on the blue Voice Dial button on the phone page, it syas, "Application is not installed on your phone". if this was by design with the 2.3.3 update? Is so, can you please advise as to where to download the app. I had voice dial on the previous version.

However, less than half of my Gallery pictures made it over. Jan 7, 2012After several months of going thru various LG, Nokia and Htc phones, I couldnt pull the trigger on who I was going to give my next 2 years to. And if any of you have been with Verizon for a while you guys know how we cherished that NE2 (new every 2 yrs and 100 dollars towards it)....lol. With Verizon pushing the Blackberry and tons of dumbphones (2009) I even considered changing carriers. So after months of media hype I decided to wait before the change. In Dec of 2009 I got a OG Droid. Awesome phone which my daughter uses now. In Dec 2010 I got a Droid X and in Dec 2011 I got a Moto Xoom wifi. I chose the Xoom this year instead of a phone because I honestly feel that the DX2 and the Bionic shouldve been 1 phone instead of 2 phones tryning to fill gaps till the Razor came out.....thats another story for another time......To sum it all up: The OG droid will always be one of the phones that changed the market! The first android phone that was released to Verizon's Captive Audience with only blackberrys and dumbphones to choose from.....
