I have had the Droid Turbo for just over a week now. My notification sounds for my texts, my yahoo email and also Facebook will work for a day or two and then they will all stop working. I have tried running the phone in safe mode and that did not work. If I reboot the phone the ywill start working again but only for a day or two.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have 3 different LG Tone Bluetooth headsets (700, 730 and I believe the 750) plus a Motorola Roadster part 2 other brands that fit in ear. My wife and I swap them out as our needs fit. For exercise the LG Tone works great or if I want stereo d sound.
Anytime I am on Bluetooth the person on the other end can hear me fine but I can't hear them well. Their voices sound garbled and OT sounds like a fax machine noise in the background. I gave checked with LG, Motorola and Verizon...
I've been wakened several times a night by notification tones randomly going off for no reason while phone is docked. Seems a lot of folks are having the same experiences. I expect to hear the initial phone docking notification and the battery full notification is turned off so that aint it. I'd turn off notifications but that's a pathetic fix.

Is it possible to do this without installing a 3rd party app? I swear I had this setup before on the DROID 2 (had to do a factory reset to try to resolve an issue), but can't figure it out. My friend has the same issue on the DROID 3 and can't figure it out. I also already know that Gmail can set up different ones if you filter through that, but that's not what I want.

On the DX, all sounds and alerts were muted for an app while I was activly using it. I don't want chat alerts WHILE I am chatting.
View 3 Replies View RelatedOn my original Droid there was an option to select which account I wanted to look at or even combine the inboxes and when one was selected I could set sounds for that account. On my Bionic I couldn't find a way to switch between accounts so I made separate icons for each but it turns out that when I set the sound on one it changes both.

View 8 Replies View RelatedWhen I had my Incredible I was able to set a different notification sound for each Gmail account (2), Facebook, voice-mail, texting, etc. When I do this on my Maxx with ICS whatever the last one is that I set up automatically becomes the :default sound" and all the apps use that sound...it overrides the sound that I set in each individual app. How can I get what I want done?

I guess I don't mind so much it's finding me but if I readjust my **** in chair as I watch TV... It has to tell me it's finding my new location. If it has to, it has to but I don't need a notification every 10 seconds telling me about it.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI have rebooted, contacted Verizon numerous times, been routed to a Level II technician, but nothing seems to solve the only intermittent problem of getting no notification sound when I get an email. The problem started out getting no ringtone sound when I got a call. Verizon finally fixed that by enabling something on advanced calling in their network. That took numerous trips to the Verizon store. Then, two days ago, I went back to Verizon with my wife to look at the iphone6 for her. I casually mentioned the notification problem to the salesperson, who said the problem was probably due to my downloaded sounds, and that I should stick to the sounds on the phone. I promptly went home and removed the downloaded sounds, but the problem persists. Because the problem is intermittent, no one has been able to fix it.

I had a voicemail left for me, listened to it, and deleted it yet the icon persistently shows up in the notification bar. I also have no voicemails in Google Voice. I can clear it in Settings>Apps but it reappears every time I start the phone. I have rebooted the phone, and cleared the cache partition to no effect.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo on kitkat i had the voicemail icon stuck. i use google voice, and i think this is just a standard verizon voicemail icon. I've checked and there are no new voicemails.
I figured when i upgraded to lollipop it would go away. well guess what, it didn't. so i did a factory reset, and now it's back.
I found that by deleting the data and wiping the cache on one of the 4 phone apps, i'm able to get rid of it, but then when i reset the device it comes back.
I can't figure it out, and tapping on it simply tells me there is no contact associated.

This is the same notification that appeared (correctly) when this feature was introduced a while ago, and after you went into Settings to enable this, it wouldn't appear again.
Just switched over to Google Hangouts and I've notices that when I get a text while my phone is locked, I don't get a blinking notification on my lock screen.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Droid Turbo, and on both KitKat and Lollipop you have to change volume settings separately. I'm always turning down my volume, just to get a full blast text alert that startles me right out of my seat. On previous phones (including other Motorola droids) all notification volume settings were linked and changed as one. Why is that not a thing anymore? How does that not just make the most sense? I know there are apps out there that could do this, but I don't want to have to download another app to simplify something that should be simple in the first place.

Is someone trying to sign into my account or does it do this when someone has sent me an email? I closed the email over a week ago, and I know that it is there for 90mdyas due to security issues if it has any. I just want this gone and off my phone NOW!!!!!
