Since the Ice Cream Sandwich Update, my Jawbone Icon Headset cuts off while my Mobile HotSpot is on. The Jawbone headset will go on and off until I turn off the HotSpot. No one at Motorola can fix the problen.
View 5 RepliesEvery since the jellybean update I've had nothing but problems. The device is always running slow, it is not smooth like butter there is a lag. And when I'm listening to music its cuts in and out as if it were a scratched cd. I've tried doing a factory restore and it didn't help. That's what Verizon suggested and it didn't work. Also Verizon's fix to everything is to send out a certified refurbished phone and I don't want that. I bought my phone brand new and I know nothings happened to my phone I don't want to a phone I know nothing about. Also I've noticed that not one of all the call recording apps work on the droid razr hd.

I know it is not a problem with my tablet, because when i am at home i will be connected to my home internet and i wont lose connection at all. So i am just wondering if there was a firm ware update for the phone?
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe mobile hotspot on my bionic has poor range. I can have the phone 15 feet away on the charger and only have 1 bar of signal on my laptop. Other phones I have had with this feature have had alot better range. I could go anywhere in my house and have signal. On the bionic I can only go about 15 feet away before I lose signal.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI am having lots of problems in getting my Toshiba Satellite C655 laptop to connect to my Motorola Verizon Droid Razr using Verizon's Hot Spot.It appears to see the Verizon Hot Spot and statse connected but says limited connectivity and keeps disconnecting and refreshing and reconnecting stateing either " Limited Connectivity or No Internet" Also when it did the one time make a connection it would not go to any web pages even tho it stated connected with internet connectivity.

I purchased a Razr M yesterday and cannot get the hotspot to function. I can connect the computer to the hotspot and I can see that connection on both the phone and the laptop, but I have no internet connection. I previously had an HTC Incredible and it worked with no issues. I have tried disabling the security, re-naming the connection, changing the channel in the hotspot settings and even changing the client start address. this is really frustrating to me because it is the primary use of this phone. (or at least it's supposed to be) has there been any solution to this issue in the previous models I missed? is anyone else having this problem?

I've finally bought the "Latest and Greatest" only to be "Greatly" disappointed! I was/am using a USB Broadband modem for internet connection (for mobility) and a cell phone from another provider. Saw the RAZR and preordered from Verizon with much enthusiasm, Hey I'm finally getting with the times upgrading and consolidatingWell on 11/10/11 I received a receipt on the door when I got home, a receipt from FED EX saying they were here and unable to deliver without signature. I jumped back in the car and rushed to the FED EX joint to get my new toy. Well it sure is a beaut! I love it!ell long story shorter... I cannot get Hotmail, Yahoo, Facebook nor my eBay accounts web pages to load on the laptop via using the Hotspot feature. (Among many other sites while browsing) I contacted Verizon several times tried CDMA only blah blah blah.
Verizon escalated me to support out in Utah... TAKE NOTE MOTOROLA! and the Cisco tech there "made some changes" and was able to get me up and running, albeit until after we hung up and I was satisfied that it had been worked around. After about 10 minutes of enjoying "What I have paid for" it quit again and the pages just sit, trying to load and sometimes scrambled.Dismayed, I called Verizon and asked for a new unit, which I recieved last night, (and again had to got to the FED EX joint) IT TOO Will not funtion properly. ( I figured it wouldn't) But hey, even Henry Ford puts out a lemon once in a while.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI was always using on other phones with Android 2.2 FroYo that 3G mobile hotspot feature, which was included right in the Android system under Wireless Networks settings.Now in Defy there is no option like that under settings in FroYo. Defy includes own app called 3G Mobile Hotspot, which should work like that option for creating mobile WiFi hotspots in other Android phones. But here is the problem.On my older phone with Android 2.2 I could create 3G WiFi hotspot wherever I needed and it worked. But now, with Defy, when I use that application 3G Mobile Hotspot, it writes me error when creating WiFi hotspot "Cannot set up data link, please contact your service provider" I suppose it is something with my carrier (Vodafone_CZ), but when I used 3G WiFi hotspots on older phones (which had that feature included right in Android settings menu) it worked without problems and I a used mobile phone for 3G internet sharing with my laptop.Now I remember, that I have deleted some DUN profile under APN Internet profiles, could it be that problem, that 3G Mobile Hotspot app is not working?how to create WiFi hotspot on my Defy for example with some other app?Or if not, how can I use Internet Tethering in Defy Mobile Networks menu via Bluetooth (my laptot has BT). I purchased the Moto Elite Sliver because my Plantronics Pro HD would drop its bluetooth every single time a call was answered or placed. I did a little research and found it may be related to a conflict with the 2.0 headset and 4.0 phone. Moto Sliver is BT 3.0 and was working great until this week. Now every single time a call is disconnected, the headset disconnects and reconnects. Reboots galore, problem still exists. Uninstall/reinstall Motospeak, problem still exists. Sometimes the bluetooth will not connect at all (reboot required). The Droid RAZR Maxx and the Elite Sliver are supposed to be state of the art MOTOROLA, I make a living with my phone and headset.
View 4 Replies View RelatedJust tried to use the HDMI mirroring capability to my computer monitor and my flat screen TV with the NFL Mobile app so I could watch MNF on a bigger screen (I don't have ESPN). Every time it gives me an error. I can do anything else in the HDMI mirroring mode. I'm wondering if the NFL app shuts down when there is an external display detected or if it's something wrong with what I'm doing on my end. Anyone else able to get this to work?

But a couple days ago I had the smart action running and go to use my phone and a screen pops up saying my mobile data limit has been reached and data has been turned off. The thing is that I have unlimited data and I don't have a data limit set on the phone. It kept on doing it until I went into the data usage settings and changed the cycle to the day before and it fixed the problem.

View 2 Replies View RelatedBefore I had the Vehicle Navigation Dock, when I turned on navigation and the radio was on, the turn by turn voice went through the car radio. If the radio was off, it played through the phone speaker. Now that I have the dock, if Bluetooth is active, the voice doesn't play at all. I have to turn Bluetooth off in the phone to hear the turn by turn. This isn't optimal because then I can't use the phone over bluetooth. Is there a setting to have the voice always go over the phone speaker?

If you've been successful in connecting them, how have you made it happen? Any difficulties or tricks you used to get them to connect?
Since the upgrade to ICS, my Droid Razr won't connect with the factory installed bluetooth in my 2008 Nissan Sentra. It worked perfectly before the upgrade but now nothing. It pairs and when I call using the steering wheel controls it turns on the phone with the correct person and calls them. However, you can't hear the phone ringing in the speaker and if/when the person answers you can't hear them. I was excited to get the upgrade but my car bluetooth is more important to me. Everything else works great but the bluetooth is a major safety issue for me as I drive a great deal. Does anyone know how to fix this or is there a way to undo the upgrade?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a RAZR MAXX HD with a bluetooth issue from the start. When in my car the bluetooth disconnects every one minute, reconnects immediately and stays on for about two minutes. Then again disconnects, reconnects, stays on for one minute, then disconnects. So the bluetooth is totally useless. It it illegal to talk on a phone in a car without handsfree in our state, so I have a MOBILE phone that won't work while being MOBILE.
When this happens it also disconnects service to the 3.5mm jack, so I have to make sure the Bluetooth is turned off. But when I plug it in the charge and then disconnect to leave in the morning, the bluetooth is turned back on. I'm spending more time resetting stuff on this phone. I've never had such a buggy phone. I've tried turning off Wi-Fi. The car is a 2010 Genisis, which with the old Droid phone worked perfect.
When streaming music to my aftermarket Alpine car stereo via bluetooth I constantly get 1/2 second drops in sound. It is intermittant but happens with almost every song, sometimes 1 or 2 times per song, sometimes up to 5 or 6 times, and some songs it doesn't happen at all. It does it while streaming through Napster or through downloaded music on the stock player, so that doesn't seem to be the issue. At first I thought it could be a loss of 3g or 4g signal or the Razr searching for the signal but it has happened in both 3g and 4g coverage area. So today I thought I would check it while stopped in a parking lot, and it continued to happen, I'm still in a 3g area til Dec. but thought the phone could be searching for a signal causing the drop of sound so I disconnected from bluetooth and the problem goes away, so I'm pretty convinced it is a bluetooth issue, I did not have this problem with my DX, so I do not believe it's an issue with my car stereo'e bluetooth adapter. I do not have any issues with phone calls but do have an issue with connecting to my bluetooth unit sometimes. In the settings it says paired but not connected until I click on the setting then it connects. Also, this does not happen while listening at home through the speakers or headphones whether I'm streaming or downloading via 3g or wifi.

Usually they work very well, I can listen to music and also make calls with them, but once in a while I will encounter a problem, when I answer a call, it will be completely mute. If I turn the headphone off, it will still be off. Even if I hang up the call, then my phone will now be completely mute (I can't even listen to music anymore). So I reset, and then my phone is back to normal.

It appears that I can connect correctly to the Bluetooth Audio Services, but as I cannot get any music onto my phone I am having a hard time testing it.On Bluetooth installation I had two devices that were not installed correctly. Through trial and error I discovered that these two devices are related to the Generic Access Service and the Generic Attributes Service, both of which I have disabled on my Win7 Bluetooth phone properties.
I HAVE installed Motorola Device Manager with no success resolving. In fact, I cannot see where MDM is even accessible on my system: no system tray icon, no start menu link, etc.I'm new to the forum so I'm not sure if my image upload will work correctly, but in essence the phone Operation Panel in Win7 shows the FTP Service as active but clicking the Browse button does nothing. I do get a prompt on my phone initially asking for permision for my computer to access the phone, but then nothing.
Wondering if anyone has a good suggestion for a Bluetooth mouth to use with my Droid Razr/LapDock 500 combination.
View 3 Replies View RelatedOn my Wife's droid razr, every time the phone boots up, blue tooth starts up. It seems to start up right after the phone starts up my wifi. There are no smart action running that should cause the blue tooth to start up. If doesn't automatically start up on my razr, only on my wife's phone. Even when I turn off blue tooth before I shut down the phone, it still starts up on restarting the phone.
