Motorola Bravo :: PC Sees Bravo As Removeable Disk / Not Phone
Jan 1, 2012Just recently my pc began having a problem recognizing my Bravo as a phone. Until then everything was fine.Now when I plug my Bravo into a USB port, I hear a chime, but no window opens.When I go to My Computer, the phone is shown as Removeable Disk (X:).When I double click on it, a small window opens with this message: "Insert Disk.Please insert a disk into drive X:." Under properties, it appears as Motorola MB520 USB Device, a disk drive.After plenty of research, I have tried changing the assigned letter of the drive twice.Every other USB device I own works just fine on my PC. The only way I can access the phone on my PC is to turn off the pc, connect the phone, power on the pc, and then the phone appears as a phone. When I connect the phone to another pc, the phone appears as it should.Some research shows this problem may be related to Acronis on my pc, but another pc with Acronis on it can recognize my phone. Could this be the result of disconnecting the phone without "preparing" the disconnect?

Feb 5, 2012I had two yahoo email accounts. I canceled one of them. Every time I try to delete the account from my Bravo, I get the "error occured, try again" message. I tried the "wifi hookup and restart" answer I fount on this site, but I still cannot get rid of the second email account.

I have tried two refurb phones from ATT and a new battery, and it still does it. I even got a new SD card, thinking that maybe it was a memory issue. May 29, 2011i have a brand new motorola bravo bought from att (android 2.2). when i make phone calls, i can see the call going out and it even shows 'active call'. but i cannot hear anything and also, the other person cant hear my voice. so, basically, no voice is going in and out during a phone call. same for incoming calls: i can see the call coming and when i accept, it shows 'active call' but no voice is going in and out.
music and Internet work fine. i can hear the phone ring when a call comes. so, fundamentally the phone's sound system works fine.....

Sep 29, 2011I was having problems changing the password of my Twitter account and adding my Facebook account, so I factory reset my phone. I also reset my Motoblur password using the web portal. Now, I cannot use my phone at all because I cannot set up my phone's Motoblur. I even tried registering a new Motoblur account, but I still get the same error message: "An error has occurred. Please try again." My phone is basically unusable now. What can I do?

Jun 9, 2015When I am in a group chat and am on a wifi network the messages never actually are delivered to my phone, i just get a little bubble that i can click that makes my phone download the message. When this happens ill get a whole bunch of undownloaded messages piling up and my phone keeps trying to process them i assume so it heats up to an extreme level. Has this issue with messages not downloading over wifi and if this causes there phone to heat up a lot too, this also causes my battery to drain extremely fast. I just tried downloading the google messenger app (not hangouts) to see if this problem would be solved and it still isnt working. And yes all my other apps are working on the wifi so its not an issue with the wifi.

Dec 3, 2014I send a lot of group texts and the groups vary quite a bit. I have not set up the various combinations of recipients as actual "groups" in iMessage. Let's say I sent a text to Tom, Dick & Harry. Then the next day, I sent a text to Tom & Dick. Then the next day, I sent a text to Tom, Dick, Harry & Jane. If I now go to send a new message to just Tom, his contact now appears fourth on list of contacts when I type "Tom" in the "to" line, behind:

Group
Tom & DickĀ
Group
Tom, Dick, Harry & JaneĀ
It's even worse because in some instances, I've included names like Tom in over a dozen random texts involving many people. It's like iMessage is claiming I want each of those group texts to be saved as an actual "group" or at least saved in the results when I'm typing in someone's name for a new text. I DON'T want that. I may have sent a text once to Tom, Dick, Jane, Mary, Ted, Bob & Homer to meet me by the third base line at Cellular Field but obviously I'll only actually need to use that group once because everyone knows with a group that large, there's only a slim chance everyone will get out of the Cell alive anyway. I just want to send Tom a text, after he lost a bet and had to go to a White Sox game, and I don't want to have to scroll past all the random "Groups" he's been in just to find his contact.

Motorola Bravo :: SMS App Bug (scrolls All The Way Up)
Aug 2, 2011I've discovered a really annoying bug with the text messaging app where I'll find that it will have scrolled all the way up to the top of the thread at times which is really annoying.
I have been trying to recreate the problem and the last time it was doing it was when I came out of being locked straight to an SMS thread and it will be at the top. I could scroll all the way back down and if I angle the phone so that it switches to landscape, then back to portrait it will then go back up to the top of the thread.
Has anyone else ran into the annoying problem of ending up at the top of an SMS thread when you didn't want to?
